Game version: BETA 1.4c
1) Story - The story is pretty good, a good story is one which manages to draw out strong feelings in the readers, I suppose there will be two endings at the end, one where Phodom kills the master of the black hooded man, and another where he forgives him, and then there's also the backstory of the dragons creating the human race, which is really neat
RATING : 5
2) Characters: I thoroughly enjoyed the individual stories of all the three characters, the quest dialogs were real funny in chapter 5, my favorite character is Fradz, because of his dangerous style of fighting and his low hp, also because he is able to steal items, my least favorite is Galeoth, perhaps I chose the wrong skills, but I had to keep hitting and running when encountering even the weakest of enemies.
RATING : 4.5
3) Gameplay: The gameplay was awesome, it's on par with many PC RPGs today, probably even better, the few things that bugs me was the 5 minute loading time every time I loaded a game, and the food system, it was more of an annoyance than a difficulty adjuster, but I see the use of it in boss fights, so it's okay. Then there's the hard to press hotkeys for my spells in the spell books, maybe you could add in the hotkey in the spell tooltips? Like RRQ for Holy Sign for Phodom. Hunting for items and bosses was addicting as well. Another thing, I was annoyed by the cave with the mutants in chapter 4, I went to the end only to find it with a barrier, maybe block the entrance of the cave until the living tree is defeated? There are a few bugs too, but they are not game breaking, so it's still very much playable. The honor point/boss point system is very well thought out, but there could be more stuff that we can use with them, say locked doors with a needed boss/honor point requirement to pass. The scoreboard is informative, telling me how much damage my spell would do. Overall I just wish that some stuff were easier to find.
RATING : 4.5
4) Bosses: The scripted bosses were really fun, at the chapter 5 epic boss I was pressing buttons like a madman, using potions and spells, my favorite boss is John, because of the point above, and my least favorite is Talloon, because of his living tree, which has an irritating long stun which just wastes time, I played on normal difficulty, and the bosses were pretty much manageable, they dropped awesome items as well, which was even more incentive for me to hunt out every epic/elite boss. Just that I couldn't find some mini-bosses in chapter 5.
RATING : 5
5) Music: Can't say much about the music, didn't start it with music on my playthrough, maybe I'll play again with music
6) Difficulty: Fradz with Disarm level 10 and Blind level 10 combined with Adrenaline Rush and blade dance can bring a boss down to half hp if it doesn't use a spell, but overall the difficulty curve was good, boss fights were challenging. Just that finding some stuff was really hard, like the faeries in chapter 4, doom lord in chapter 5, and trying to get the last piece of the omega orb, I truly liked the puzzles, maybe you could add more, like a sudoku puzzle, or a chess game.
RATING : 4
7) Cinematics: The text speed is pretty slow, but I know that's a warcraft limitation, best cinematics were the ones with the dragons for the obvious reason, as well as Phodom's entire family getting murdered, there weren't any bad cinematics, and the option to skip dialogs is nifty. I didn't take much notice of the cinematics, but they were well executed, from the jokes to the story development. Fradz was a rolling ball of laughter, laughed when he named the boss in chapter 2
RATING : 5

Atmosphere: The terrain matches with the game's atmosphere very well in the different chapters, it's neither too funny nor too sad, but just right, but there's something I don't get, why didn't Phodom tell Fradz that someone had killed his entire family, but only told him that he killed his chickens?
RATING : 5
9) Spells: There was a problem with some spells, like lightning spire giving a fatal error, but the individual spell effects were useful. As this is my first playthrough, I feel the ice/fire/lightning mastery spells were imbalanced, because giving one point into them was equivalent to giving one point each to all the other skills. I feel Galeoth's starting passive skill could be changed. The espers and the bosses spells were just amazing
RATING : 3
10) Items: I play this game solely because of the items, the complexity and the bosses, as I do a hard quest/kill a boss I wonder what item it would drop. I reloaded my game on the chapter one epic boss just to see what items I would get if I killed the archmage rather than sparing him, the set items have some bugs, like holy seal not providing bonus magic damage %. There are a few items which are a mystery, like the circle of fire, and the azure visage, I have totally no clue what those items does.
Overall the items were well thought out and all the set items do different things, which is really great, I could have a item build for killing mobs and another one for killing bosses
RATING : 4.5
Finally, this is the best warcraft 3 campaign I've ever played, I remember playing chapter 1 and 2 a long time ago, vaguely. It's too bad not many people are into warcraft 3 campaigns. This is the first campaign I wanted to finish just to see the development of the story and because of the GREAT bosses. I recommended this campaign to my friends halfway in chapter 1, sadly none of them plays campaigns. I read how Aeroblyctos made this campaign from nothing and it was really inspirational
Final rating: 6/5
