Title: Little item sentences
Post by: Aeroblyctos on May 25, 2011, 10:15:43 am
Hello.

I'm gonna make a little improvement to some items to make them more interesting. I'll add a little sentence for items, the text can be like anything for example Plate Shield: "A shield commonly used by magic type fighters."

So I'm requesting you to pick up an item and make a nice little sentence for it. There is a maximum item description cap so don't write long sentences.

so u want stories for items now? I thought u said its not necessary on the item competition?

anyway heres a suggestion: The 4th day Aero created Azeurus Set, and Aero saw that it was gooooood.

:D

Well just very little ones that makes the items look more interesting. Some items look really boring.

Moderate Mana Potion: A concoction made from bleach, vinegar, urine, and a pinch of brown sugar. Its aroma alone can melt steel, but fortunately for you, all it does in this game is restore 500 mana.
Big Mana Potion: It's better than a Moderate Mana Potion because it restores 800 mana, and has more friends, listens to trendier music, and gets invited to more parties. As well as more sex. Ohyes.
Minor Heal Potion: This generic potion restores 250 health points. I mean, it's really generic. The bottle is to scale.
Smal Heal Potion: When consumed, these potions instantly restore 500 of your precious Health Points. Or Hit Points, if you think they're called that. They also cause severe diarrhoea, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's not relevant.
Minor Restoration Potion: This magical draught restores 2500 HP and 750 MP, and is probably made from liquefied fairies, or something. Who knows? But does it MATTER? You'll drink it anyway, even if you found it just lying around in some manky cave.
Elixir: An amazing brew made from the tears of a goddess, or something astounding like that. It restores all health and mana.
Hero Drink: The name, of course, is a euphemism.
Glass of Sludge: A thick, viscous ooze, just like mama used to make!
Wooden Round Shield: A round shield made of wood. Pretty light, but offers only some small protection. Good for poor people!
Mythril Saber: A sword forged from the highly unique-to-this-setting metal called 'mythril'. It's not an especially exciting sword. Its favourite colour is probably grey.
Gilmax: A solid, powerful axe made for rending armour.
Killer's Armor: A tough, durable suit of light armour made from the hide of some large, hardy beast. The spikes give it a rather barbaric look.
Stogo Helmet: A generic helmet, sometimes worn by young heroes out to save their worlds from evil pig men.
Death Spike: A spear made from the bones of some great dead beast, meant for slicing the bones of other great beasts.
Message to Farmer Allan/...: A message to Farmer (name). You can't read it though. Why? Because. Shut up.

I will post only sinthies:D.
Orb of Stats-A magical orb that could provide perfection in every aspect
Zwill blade-Zwill was a beginner dragon slayer that died without the luck of his jade ring.If his ring is united with a milthril saber , the blade of Zwill shall be assembled  once more.
Ring of Rejuvenate - A young priest named Alithini , had 2 rings , one from his father , and one from his mother. After they died , the 2 rings becamed one , wich Alithini hold his entire life.
Restornation Blet-A blet of a strong moonk that lived near the Icy Mountains.
Master key-The key that can open each kind of door.Crafted by the first Thief in the Olivert.
Aerial Shoes- He, who wield the shoes , will walk with a speed beyond the limits.
Improved Fire cloak-A young ressident of Kar'Gath crafted the improved version of the fire cloak.
Demon's Stiletto-The demon that disobeyed the dragons died by the hand of himself , thus his poisonous items can still be found.
Ring of Great Rejuvenate-With the aid of the Mage Guild , the ring that Althini held becamed powerfull every day.
Orichalcon-Zwill convinced his moonk to give him the blet he wield just before Zwill died. After his death , the blet conbined with Zwill blade , becoming a stronger artefact.
Ring of Mega Rejuvenate-Alithini died killed by a strong emerald dragon , witch improved the ring.Alithini's soul has been kept in the ring , making the ring so strong that the dragon couldn't wield it.

You don't continue this anymore Blackdoom? I'd like to see more of your crude stories and numerous spelling mistakes! I also really liked how you made every single synthesis item, including the lowly Restoration Belt, into powerful and unique artefacts!!!
Actually i found them funny lol ^^
I made them to be humorous, because the campaign is quite lacking in terms of humour - just Fradz isn't enough.

I liked these:

Hero Drink: The name, of course, is a euphemism.
Glass of Sludge: A thick, viscous ooze, just like mama used to make!
Wooden Round Shield: A round shield made of wood. Pretty light, but offers only some small protection.
Gilmax: A solid, powerful axe made for rending armour.
Killer's Armor: A tough, durable suit of light armour made from the hide of some large, hardy beast. The spikes give it a rather barbaric look.
Stogo Helmet: A generic helmet, sometimes worn by young heroes.
Orb of Stats: A magical orb that gives fighning skills in every aspect.
Zwill Blade: The name comes from the original blacksmith who created the sword. Nowadays the sword is quite popular for it's low price compared to it's powers.
Master key: A magical key that can be used to open almost every type of doors in around world of Oelivert.

I didn't like half of Chimto's jokes and some of Blackdoom's texts were too long. I prefer one to two sentences. I still have that maximum item cap description.

I would like to comment that I didn't like the text color of comments in game please change them to the grey color you have in the example, also I would prefer you to use the old color for items that are part of synthesis items it looked better :)

I would like to comment that I didn't like the text color of comments in game please change them to the grey color you have in the example

The "comment text" should always be grey. If not it's a bug then.

also I would prefer you to use the old color for items that are part of synthesis items it looked better :)

I didn't quite get this suggestion.

Ice Crown: This seems to be some sort of crown. It has a small lapis lazuli that doesn't do anything at all!
Cursed Blade: A Dark-elemental sword, imbued with eldritch powers. Probably.
Doom Helmet: A semi-legendary helmet said to have been used in some great battle thousands of years ago or somesuch.
Mother Earth: A semi-legendary artefact used by some great Shaman hero aeons ago. It is said that when he died, a forest grew around his grave, and the artefact was lost deep within it. Or something to that effect.
Doom Sword: A Fire-elemental sword, tipped with a claw of the Doom Lord. Awarded for defeating that lord.
Mythril Saber: A simple metal sword with no magical enchantments whatsoever.
Golden Trophy: A trophy made of... well, you can probably work it out somehow.
Grandmaster's Mage Staff: A staff that was once used by some great sage or something.
Deadly Knife: An expensive dagger crafted from a fine metal. It has a creepy, unsettling aura to it, it feels like it might suddenly cut you when you're not looking.
Ring of Tides: A ring often used by knights. Probably because 'tide' and 'knight' rhyme. But probably not.
Golden Claw: This claw-like weapon ISN'T made of solid gold, because it'd be ludicrously expensive and rather soft and useless if it was. Instead, it's merely gold-plated.
Rogue's Hood: This piece of everyday clothing is magically enchanted to provide enhanced speed. But why?!?
Elexorien III: A rather psychadelically-fabulous-looking sword, wielded more for its power than for its looks.
Shard of Shadows: A small amethyst gem, enchanted with eldritch magicks of darkness and all that sort of stuff.
Health Gem: A gem which is attuned to the physical wavelengths and body chakras such that it increases the potential of the body of the wearer. Or something like that.
Mana Gem: A gem which is attuned to the mental wavelengths and mind chakras such that it increases the potential of the mind of the wearer. Or something like that.
Skull Shield: 'Alas, poor Yorick!' It feels rather morbid to hold one of these things.
(Yes, I know. I love humour)

A rather blunt but quite humorous description for each item. I like it!

Isn't the Mother Earth item a quality type of Mythical or something? and so the semi-legendary description wouldn't work out right or is legendary of higher quality?(in-game)

Just a question, do you intend on having 'serious' item sentences or you are looking for more 'corny'/'funny' item sentences. Cause it seems like everyone is going to non-serious direction.

I'd post something, but I feel too old to be making such corny jokes about items.

Hello,

Quote
Dragon Amulet: An amulet of a fallen dragon. Its strange shape is considered sacred among the Dragons.
Why does it always has to be a dead dragon? How could you know that it wasn't i.e. stolen from him?
In fact, if death is such an important ingredient, why not add 'a spice' of it on every item?

Boots of Speed: An old, dusty pair of a fallen farmer's boots.
Boots of Great Speed: A pair of a fallen hero's brand-new sneakers.
Spiked Club: An old-fashioned club of a fallen ogre with spikes on it.
Greedy Armor: A fallen bounty / treasure hunter's chest armor.
Pete's Pipe: Pete the Fallen's pipe.

Dear God...
A Dragon Spirit dropped this item anyways. So I think it is safe to assume that it is a FALLEN Dragon's amulet.

I wonder why a person dubbed 'Lord' would be referred to with an informal pronoun...
(Should be 'O Lord, bless this Your seal, that with it Ye mayen slay Your enemies.')
Greedy Bastard: A strange thing which doubles the gold and XP you earn. Probably 'cause it's gold. It's not made from gold though, unfortunately. Does that make you cry? I bet it does.
Elixir: A great new energy drink from JuiceCorp! With this juice, you won't need medical attention ever again! It fully refills your HP, MP and vitality!
Hero Drink: Some sort of drink blessed by Xyrzious. Being blessed by Xyrzious as it is, it burns the mouth of pretty much anyone when they drink it. It burns skin even if you just rub it on, too.
Dragon's Heart: The heart of some ancient dragon slain in some horrendous bloody battle in the distant past. I wonder why it does not decay though...

I'm not really familiar with Archaic English. But in Monty Python and the Holy Grail they use this sentence in the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch Scene anyways.
Title: Re: Little item sentences

I watched that scene again, and the quote was:
Quote
And Saint Attila raised the hand grenade up on high, saying, 'O Lord, bless this Thy hand grenade that, with it, Thou mayest blow Thine enemies to tiny bits in Thy mercy.'
So, in this context, thou is appropriate. But... what about the one in the Holy Seal flavour text? Should it be thou or ye?

Try item sets and synthesis. Those don't have much yet.

Okay, so some excellent sentences here. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Some of them are really great, I mean REALLY great. One thing: Don't make a sentence that goes beyond Oelivert. For example don't talk about bucks, it's real money so...

Here are the sentences I'm going to add to the new version of the campaign. If you feeel like some of your excellent ideas are not here just reply and I'll check them again.

Ragnarok: A sword whose blade is kept super-heated by some kind of special gizmobob, or something.
Electro Boots: This piece of everyday clothing is magically enchanted to provide enhanced speed. But why?!?
Sunrise Set: A suit of heavy armour, forged for and worn by a legendary Paladin. It's meant to represent the rigidity and... protection of the Paladin Code or something?
Crown of Magic: A crown worn by a legendary wizard. It has 'mind-enhancing effects'.
Omega Helmet: It's either intimidating or incredibly silly, depending on who's wearing it, and where. I mean, an axe-wielding man with a huge beard and frothing mouth could use this to further scare his foes, but if, say, a lawyer wore it, it wouldn't work so well. But maybe...
Angel's Gift: It is traditional for Knights to pray to stars for fortune before a quest. It is said that those of pure heart who prayed with the most selfless intentions and the most passion would meet amongst the crowds of peasants who saw them off a mysterious little white-haired girl, who, with an innocent smile, would wish him luck and present him with this delicate artefact.
Amethyst: A coloured variety of quartz, usually used to adorn jewellery or armour. It's superstitiously believed to protect from intoxication, but this has never been proved in the slightest.
Otzi Claw: It's, uh, a dead otzi's hand... What would you want THAT for? Practical jokes, probably. You sicken me.
Basic Armor: A generic suit of armour. Its name is stupid.
Branch of Rejuvenation: This branch would easily succumb to the ravages of fire.
Coin Sword: This sword IS, as its name implies, exorbitantly expensive! People will think you're classy indeed if you wield it, surely.
Storm Ring: You'll be the talk of the town with this shiny ring!

Diamond: Whiteish, lustrous gemstone, often considered precious and tussled over (see the WAR entry in your dictionary for more details).

Scythe of Annihilation: This item's origins is deeply mysterious, probably created aeons ago by a mad sorcerer.
Zyl Orb 6: I'm Zylcious, one of the main villains of the campaign. You'll see me as the Epic Boss of chapter 10. As a member of the Zylcious Fan Club, now you too can have a little orb of everyone's favourite dragon. Enjoy! ...or I will BOIL THE BLOOD IN YOUR VEINS.
Aero: Insect! You boldly seek the power of the Creator?! Now you shall feel it firsthand! - Aeroblyctos
Demon Sphere: The Demon Sphere is one of the rarest and most powerful artefacts around Oelivert. A single sighting can make the career of a historian, assuming that he can survive the wrath of its demon guardians. - Pliny the Absent's Historia
Golden Eye: A series of break-ins shocked the local giant community last night as a burglar gained access to several 2-storey windows by illegal use of a magic beanstalk and stole this eye.
Bear Fur: Bear Safety Fun Tip: Never get between the mama bear and her cubs. She will not be cool with it and will totally wig out.
Soldier's Sword: SWORD (sawd), noun. Longish piece of metal, quite pointy and sharp on one end, somewhat less so on the other.

Those texts are pretty random... I picked the best ones that fit.

Poison Knife: A knife, tipped with poison. Well, what kind of poison? It doesn?t matter!
Stogo Helmet: A metal helm to protect your noggin.
Amulet of Strength: This necklace, set with a red gem, magically increases the wearer's physical strength.
Ring of Agility: This little ring, set with a yellow gem, magically increases the wearer's speed.
Purple Stream: This... thing magically increases the wearer's mental acuity.
Chagehage: A delicate piece of jewellery. Wear it in your fingers.
Strange Stump: An oddly crafted magical talisman infused with the power of earth.
Health Potion: This generic potion restores half of your health. The bottle is to scale.
Aero: This armour once belonged to Aeroblyctos. It's made of a strange whiteish metal.
Azureus Set: Everything about this armour set says 'Azureus'! Or something!
Animal Set: A rather ridiculous sort of armour made of animal skin. It's more protective than you might think.
Crown of Magic: An amazingly powerful crown made from some sort of magical material, or something. Important and powerful mages are often seen wearing them.
Skeleton Cape: Black garb of a ninja. Assists in stealth.
Excalibur: This sword is not copied of any other game.
Lightning Set: Armour made from lightning bolts magically frozen. How did you pick this up...?
Widger Queen's Ring: This seems to be some sort of ring.
Spiked Club: What an anachronism.
Basic Armor: A simple armour often used by generic, expendable soldiers.
Butcher's Set: This armour is taken from the remains of a Butcher, it would seem, though obviously it's not the same one that you faced in Diablo because this one looks exactly like a Great Unclean One!
Sword of Night: A sword often used by knights. Probably because 'night' and 'knight' are homonymes. But probably not.
Soldier's Set: This is your regular equipment... on steroids. Alright, alright, it's just a paint job and a nice decal.
Omega Gloves: Years of research in nanotechnology were required for this amazing product to reach this particular shade of purple. Beautiful...
Aerial Shoes: Originally designed to reach outer space, it's now being sold because its previous owner completely forgot about space suits...
Steel Round Shield: A shield of incredible power. Whether incredibly strong or incredibly weak is debatable.
Thunder Boots: If you've never seen a human reaching mach 2, here's your chance.

Okay, texts added once again.

Omega Helmet: It's either intimidating or incredibly silly, depending on who's wearing it, and where. I mean, an axe-wielding man with a huge beard and frothing mouth could use this to further scare his foes, but if, say, a lawyer wore it, it wouldn't work so well. But maybe..
Make this a little smaller and I can accept it. By 20 letters at least.

Aero, how can i know the items that already have sentences and the ones that don't have(or you don't have to know?)
I don't know if my imagination would be good, but firstly i need to know how to use it in this case.
Or just do texts from your head to any item. If I see it good enough and the space is already filled I will find another item that fits with your description.

And I actually like some of Yggdrasill's idea but some are just too strange.

And hey Yggdrasill, can you give me all texts that are based on the ruby, sapphire, etc and give me in one post? Don't give me ruby then few months, sapphire, give them all at once. Thank you!

What? I never gave texts for the Ruby, Sapphire, etc...

Amethyst: A coloured variety of quartz, usually used to adorn jewellery or armour. It's superstitiously believed to protect from intoxication, but this has never been proved in the slightest.

This is for example one.
Title: Re: Little item sentences

Actually, that's only one of the two texts for misc items that I posted.

Yea but maybe you could improve this section. Try to think for other gems too some descriptions?
Title: Re: Little item sentences
Post by: Pourquoi on July 04, 2012, 07:53:58 am
Pathetic Boots: The name, of course, is a euphemism.
Staff of Tranquility: A branch from a mighty, legendary, celestial tree, crafted into a magical staff. It has a small emerald in the shaft that doesn't do anything at all!
Omega Helmet: A helmet that was taken from Siluze. It may or may not have belonged to him at some point.
Crystal Mask: A shimmering helmet that seems to be made from an almost immaterial substance, which gives an impression of flowing water even though it's not actually, y'know, flowing. Or water.
Rogue's Hood: A stylish leather hood that increases speed somewhat.
Lucky Horseshoe: A horseshoe which is rather superstitiously said to grant its holder improved luck.
Ruby: Rubies are extremely valuable red gemstones, a variety of mineral corundum. They're mystically associated with strength, passion, power, fire.
Sapphire: Sapphires are corundum gems of any colour other than red, the most popular and powerful colour being deep blue. They're mystically associated with mind and spirit, magic, intellect, water.
Topaz: I just don't understand... why are topazes grouped together with rubies and sapphires... I mean, they are much more common...
Mana Potion: When consumed, this potion instantly restores half of your precious Mana Points. Or Magic Points, if you think they're called that. It also causes severe diarrhoea, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's not relevant.
Keg of Ale: A keg of ale. You can't drink from it though. Why? Because. Shut up.
Santoryu: This sword is not copied of any other game.
Icy Crystal: A clear blue gemstone. It's probably magical. I mean, everything else is...
Zyl Orb: If for some reason you feel like Aero did a bad job at setting the stats of our heroes, here's your chance to adjust them to suit your needs.
Magic Dust: Information can be extremely valuable. With this thing here, you'll be able to see nearby invisible enemies! Information has a price, though...
Restoration Potion: Genuine restoration potion! Whoops... I'll just remove this made in China sticker... Doesn't belong to this item, obviously!
Soldier's Set (3): This is your regular equipment... on steroids. Alright, alright, it's just a paint job and a nice decal.
Omega Bracelet: Years of research in nanotechnology were required for this amazing product to reach this particular shade of purple. Beautiful...
Aerial Shoes: Originally designed to reach outer space, it's now being sold because its previous owner completely forgot about space suits...
Thunder Boots: If you've never seen a human reaching mach 2, here's your chance.
Glass of Sludge: Hideous taste, lots of bacteria, can block your oesophagus... But seriously, when you're THIS cool, you don't bother for details.
Basic Armor: When budget is a concern and you REALLY want some protection, try out the Basic Armour!
Crown of Magic: An amazingly powerful crown made from some sort of magical material, or something. Important and powerful mages are often seen wearing them.
Butcher's Set: This armour is taken from the remains of a Butcher, it would seem, though obviously it's not the same one that you faced in Diablo because this one looks exactly like a Great Unclean One!

I would like that the gems have something in common.
Title: Re: Little item sentences

Excalibur: No, this doesn't have anything to do with King Arthur's sword. Nothing at all. It's not even a reference to it or anything.
Laijsla: Armour fashioned specifically for Fradz. The F letter emblazoned on the chest seems sort of silly, but Fradz insists on it because he doesn't take life too seriously anyway and thinks it's rather fitting. ON HIS CHEST!!! ...Get it?!?! Nevermind.
Strange Stump: A not-so legendary talisman apparently made from some kind of magically stunned treant. How eccentric.
Oelivert: A semi-legendary artefact used by some great Shaman hero aeons ago. It is said that when he died, a forest grew around his grave, and this artefact was lost deep within it. Or something to that effect.
Ancient Leaf: A leaf taken from the corpse of chapter 4 Elite Boss. Awarded for defeating that boss.
Shadow Cloak: This piece of everyday clothing is magically enchanted to provide enhanced speed. But why?!?
Azureus Set: A suit of golden armour blessed by Azureus. You can feel the holiness just radiating off it, like a warm sandwich.
Coin Sword: A golden sword that once belonged to some kind of monarch. Looks expensive!
Jade: This gem sparkles with a myriad beautiful shades of green.
Power Orb: An orb which is attuned to the physical wavelengths and body chakras such that it increases the potential of the body of the wearer. Or something like that.
Energy Orb: An orb which is attuned to the mental wavelengths and mind chakras such that it increases the potential of the mind of the wearer. Or something like that.
Elemental Tablet: This shiny rock was once stuck to the body of a Rock Elemental. It's amazing what can evolve naturally, don't you think?
Skull Shield: 'Alas, poor Yorick!' It feels rather morbid to hold one of these things.
Bug Shield: A shield which is able to summon bugs because of its smell. What do you mean, 'the smell wouldn't do that'? Well, it must be magic, then. Yes. A wizard did it.

Adamantine Guard: Your safety is our priority! Warning: Does not protect from death.
Frog Hood: Sick of blending into the crowd with generic hats? The FROG-shaped hood is guaranteed to get you noticed!
Elexorien III: The latest in rainbow harnessing technology.
Golden Eye: Just like a regular eye, only gold. Research shows you'll have at least 23% more ladies swoon when compared with a regular eye.
Golden Claw: Sure, gold is heavier and less practical than other metals, but there's no substitute for having your claws made of gold.

Oh well, i finally decided to make a contribution. I hope i won't copy any of Pourquois' phrases.

Evil Eye: A eye from a evil person. Evil things may happen to you while in your possession.
Falchion: A slightly curved sword. You may want to slash things with it.
Guado Armor: Don't know if it's italian ... or a game reference.
Exepede: It won't be that easy to find a better sword.
Life Stealer: A mortal blade that steals the enemy's life for some reason.
Orichalcon: A sword made from the legendary metal of Atlantis. Or it's just some game reference.
Power Gloves: They're not that powerful though.
Magic Shield: A shield that should defend against magic, but sadly it doesn't.
Title: Re: Little item sentences

Santoryu: A sword which originated in a popular anime series about some pirates and treasures and something. It doesn't look happy to be ripped from its own world...
Bloodcrystal Amulet: A vial of dragon's blood, hung around one's neck like a pendant. It still possesses some magical power even in this state.
Zylcious' Cloak: But Zylcious doesn't even WEAR a cloak!!111
Dark Matter: The name is, of course, a euphemism.
Sword of Night: A sword often used by knights. Possibly because 'knight" and 'night' are homonymes. But probably not.
Lightning Chain: A chain made from lightning bolts, magically frozen. How do you pick this up...?
Orb of Degeneration: This violet orb reflects light with a wavelength of approximately 420 nm.
Excalibur: No, this doesn't have anything to do with King Arthur's sword. Nothing at all. It's not even a reference to it or anything.
Stone of Annihilus: Is 'annihilus' even a word? Maybe it's the brand name.
Skull Shield: Not too big, but it makes up defensive capabilities with creepiness.
Scythe of Annihilation: Perhaps the scythe of a dastardly villain. Because, you know... only villains use scythes and words like 'annihilation'.
Power Ring: Wear this for a while and you'll be able to win arm-wresting contests with your ring finger.
Lucky Clover: It has been estimated that there are approximately 10000 three leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover.

Icy Crystal: This blue gem reflects light with a wavelength of approximately 495 nm.
Golden Claw: Maybe this is what I'm! Ha! The! Ha! Most! Ha!... used to open cans of tuna.
Razord: Despite the name, you can't actually use it as a razor or a cord.
Coin Sword: You'll be the talk of the town with this shiny sword!
Golden Idol: It's actually pyrite, not gold, but hey whatever you need to say to fool the banker.
Turtle Shell: Great! Now all you need is a plumber's uniform and those amazing mushrooms banned by the FDA.
Ghost Wolf's Claws: You could have taken about 100 kilogrammes of fresh meat from this Ghost Wolf. Why did you take just a paw?
Andenaj I: Armour made from 179 different types of bamboo, furnished with EPA-approved cloth.
Lucky Horseshoe: Why is it lucky to find an old horseshoe? Some poor horse probably got hurt, what's lucky about that?
Cloak of Zylcious: I'm Zylcious, one of the main villains of the campaign. You'll see me as the Epic Boss of chapter 10. As a member of the Zylcious Fan Club, now you too can have a replica of everyone's favourite dragon's cloak. Enjoy! ...or I will BOIL THE BLOOD IN YOUR VEINS.
Wizard's Boots: Genuine magical boots! Whoops... I'll just remove this made in China sticker... Doesn't belong to this item, obviously!
Endless Potion: An ancient bottle containing a powerful healing salve. How can it refill itself and defy physics is still a mystery. (Originally by Doom).
Life Earring: A pair of earrings which can restore your health. Probably 'cause it's orange. It's not made from oranges, though. Does that make you cry? I bet it does.
Title: Re: Little item sentences

Jewel of Health: It keeps you healthy. Perphaps it's a explanation of why heroes don't eat anything at all.
Belt of Rejuvenate: Is it a belt or a ring?
Mega Ring: A million times better than a normal ring...theoretically. Is there even the item "Ring" in the first place?
Giga Ring: A thousand times better than Mega Ring...at least, it should be. You can feel the difference...maybe
Tera Ring: A thousand times better than Giga Ring. For the ones that aren't good at math, it would exactly a trillion times better than a normal ring. Sadly, you know that's not the case here.
Icy Crystal: It's not made of ice, actually, it's icy, otherwise it would melt...

Pathetic Boots: These enchanted boots were once the property of a deadly assassin fond of chasing down his prey. He moved with such speed that his targets often didn't have the oppurtunity to respond, even on horseback. Over time, the assassin's fame spread, and though his name was never known, all knew to fear the words last heard by his victims:  'You can hide, but you cannot run!'
Destiny: The true weapon of a modern warrior, Destiny is not a sword in the traditional sense, but a nanotechnologically constructed blade that is dynamically 'forged' on command into a non-eutactic solid. Nanoscale whetting devices insure that the blade is both unbreakable and lethally sharp.
Shinji: A shaped crystal of solid ice, this blade is kept at absolute zero by many enchantments - while the wielder is protected from the unearthly cold, the blade will bring a deadly chill to those it strikes.
Heaven's Blade: A kingly sword, doing a kingly amount of damage in the hands of a kingly warrior.
Bug Shield: A shield full of packets of pheromones which can be released to call a bug. What do you mean, 'the pheromones wouldn't do that'? Well, it must be magic, then. Yes. A wizard did it.
Crystal Water: When imbibed, this bottle of premium water instantly restores 500 of your precious Health Points. Or Hit Points, if you think they're called that. It also causes severe diarrhoea, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's not relevant.
Blood Drinker: This item is expensive! You should be proud to have purchased it!
Excalibur: No, this doesn't have anything to do with King Arthur's sword. Nothing at all. It's not even a reference to it or anything.
Wizard's Boots: Genuine magical boots! Whoops... I'll just remove this made in China sticker... Doesn't belong to this item, obviously!
Endless Potion: An ancient bottle containing a powerful healing salve. How can it refill itself and defy physics is still a mystery.
Legendary Wyrm's Head: The severed head of a wyrm. There is a hint of power in its depths, but it would fetch a good price at market regardless -- collectors love these things.
Manslayer: A large, serrated axe with little decoration.
Guado Armor: A suit of leather armour with metal plates underneath for added protection, or something.
A Bag of Worms: WHY A BAG FULL OF WORMS?! WHY?! WHAT DOES THAT HAVE TO DO WITH ANYTHING?! IT DOESN'T FIT IN ANYWHERE AT ALL!! I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND!!
Evil Eye: This eye seems to be looking directly into your very soul... Ooooo~!
Bone Armor: This item's name might make you think that it's an armour suit made from bones, but you'd be right if you thought that. Completely correct.
Behearm: Despite its enormous size, this halberd can actually fit inside a small treasure chest. Which is interesting.

Bloodlust Mask: Express yourself in the most violent way possible with this mask!
Aerial Sword: This sword comes with an 80's paint job.
Windy Staff: Rated at F3 on the Fujita scale, this staff is capable of relocating an entire house over the rainbow.
Jade Blade: Made of pure jade, this sword attracts both the ladies and nasty cracks.
Skeleton Cape: Wearing a cape into combat is a very stupid thing. All I have to do is step on your cape, and NECK SNAP! Stephen Hawking is teaching you how to use your fancy new wheelchair.
Mask of Illusion: Facial hair mishap? Bad haircut? Need to rob a bank? This mask solves all those problems and more!
Soldier's Set: It may look crummy, but it's better than working in an office. Making bucks, getting exercise, working outside.
Shadow Armor: If movies have taught us anything, it's that wearing black makes you perfectly invisible to baddies. Always.
Adamantine Guard: The most modern armour suit known to man is still really awkward to remove when you have to go to the bathroom in a hurry.
Arctic Gloves: Cooler than cool is this pair of gloves!
Bear Fur: Made from coarse cloth and bear hide, bringing out your inner Viking may also bring out a nasty rash.
Thunder Ring: Do not go swimming with this on.
Poison Knife: A knife filled with deadly poison. Well, what kind of poison? It doesn't matter!
Death Spike: Juggling this would be a bad idea.
I hope Aero still cares about this thing...

Evil Eye: This eye can see into the hearts of men. Which are full of blood, I suppose.
Yin and Yang: These swords' names are in Chinese, even though China isn't a nation in this game.
Bone Armor: This item's name might make you think that it's an armour suit made from bones, but you'd be right if you thought that. Completely correct.
Animal Set: A suit of armour probably made of the skins of animals that were ritually sacrificed or something.
Message to Farmer Allan/Albert/Billy: A message to Farmer Allan/Albert/Billy. You can't read it though. Why? Because. Shut up.
Outer Stone/Inner Stone: A magical runestone that's totally not a potato.
Summoner's Amulet: This item is expensive! You should be proud to have purchased it!

Holy Sword: This sword seems very pleased that you took time out of your busy day to pull it from the stone.
Crystool: Channelling the arcane and odd, the fearsome and strange, often requires implements both unexpected and unwieldy.
End of an Era: It is said that to wield this sword is to pierce the flow of time, to witness a thousand seasons unfold in a day, and to walk unhindered through ages past and future.
Ice Diamond: Hey, could someone put the heater on? This diamond is freezing cold!
Battlemage Set: This robe and wizard hat is guaranteed to have you mistaken for any number of famous wizards.
Azure Visage: While not as sturdy as a proper helmet, this mask is better tuned to project words of power.
Winter's Tear: Carved of stone and glacial ice, its edge is said to be cold enough to freeze the very souls of its victims.
Blue Binkie: This novelty item is funny enough to reduce some folks to tears on sight. Try it as a pick-me-up when you're feeling down.
Zelmet: This helmet is said to have seen battle in a dozen wars, yet those who look upon it believe it to be new.
Manslayer: While this axe has **** and chipped on the lives of hundreds, it has never failed to finish the job.
Arctic Gloves: The ice on this pair of gloves never seems to melt.
Leviathan Armor: This armour is tough as a tank.
Reaper's Scythe: Consider yourself lucky that you aren't on the receiving end.
Destiny: The very best there is. When you absolutely, positively,... can we just say it's a really sweet sword?
Doomsday: Each swing counts down toward the end of time.
