I already forgot about the battle its 3 years old now but if im not mistaken i use seal of ressurection for fradz so he cant die, then i move a bit further from yurgimar and see which hero get targeted and cast heaven bless to that hero. Phodom can tank that with enough magic resistance but fradz and galeoth dont have enough hp to tank that

Walkthroughs & Strategies / Spell build Item build, gold management
« on: July 12, 2017, 10:26:33 am »
So if you play this campaign for the 1st time without give up and any save files, you probably think how the hell i can finish **** mode. You'll be fine progressing this campaign until you meet some "that you think" unbeatable bosses.

Most beginner mistakes is have wrong spell build and buy some useless items that doesnt worth that much. This campaign have limited amount of gold and experience so you must build your heroes efficiently to reach maximum potential. Some bosses can be beaten using strategies and minimal items, but some bosses need some spesific items, spells build and, combat kings to defeat.

This is my own build and tips that i use for 1st playthrough **** mode.

Item builds

In this campaign you can only have some maximum amount of gold, so you need to buy items that NEEDED. When i mean needed, it means that this item can be combined later, give you some advantages later, or help you defeating bosses.

Dont buy anything if you still can progress the campaign without that item. Use any items that gained from drop to finish the chapter. Dont buy anything unecessarily. Ex : at chapter 1 you can buy fire cloak and shadow armor, but it doesnt give you stats growth or anything and you dont need it to beat spesific boss either so dont buy it.

Buy any items that increase your stats permanently.
Example : jewel of health, andenaj I II III, Miraga, maragath, archeon > Francisca, Mana ball
This items give you advantages along the campaign, so buy it sooner the better. You dont need weak items that give you advantage for 2 early chapters when you can finish it without it.
This stats modifying items are so powerful my phodom have 750 bonus HP + 12 str at chapter 1 only

Items that increase gold drop is really valuable, equip it whenever you can and obtain it as early as possible. Ex : golden idol, golden claw, golden trophy

Sell anything that you dont use. See the item list walkthrough to know which items can't be combined and have weak attributes. In the end of chapter 2, i have around 5k gold from selling items.

Sell spellbooks for early chapter gold advantages.
Example at Chapter I : I sold my volcanic fissure so i can buy andenaj and ruby axe.
Chapter 2 : sold lightning level 2 spell to buy topaz axe and andenaj.

Spell builds

BEST spell In my opinion
Phodom must have skills : colossal slam, heaven bless, chaotic rift
Phodom good skills : Meltdown, blazing fury
Builds : for early chapter you wont need area attack that much, but later on, colossal slam is really good because of misses and area stun.
Choose the holy cross bonus, it give you +1 luck (because the other items dont do that much IMO)

Fradz must have skills : invisible strike, blessing of lightning, teleport strike
Fradz good skills : thunder, scissor stab, flash strike, ligtning orb passive(increase mana regen and magic resistance)
Fradz early chapter is the hardest because he is so weak, maximizie your invisible strike and single target spells for assasin type fradz in early chapter. Choose sword of haste bonus, the attack speed from this item is devastating.

Galeoth must have skills : inner light, magic convert
Galeoth good skills : frozen fang, magical hammer, illusion army, frozen paradise, seal of resurection
Choose opportunist bonus for +1 luck.

Combat kings :
Most heroes need resurrection and magic resistance combat kings maximized. For fradz and galeoth you can give em magic torment too.
The main goal of this campaign is staying alive first, kill the enemies second. So, prioritize defensive type combat kings like parry, siphon life, magic resistance, resurrection, especially in early chapters which bosses hp in early chapter isnt regenerating that fast.

A lot of bosses do signficant unblockable magic damage like nyrxz chapter 7 elite boss. So this combat kings will help you staying alive.
Some bosses cant be killed if they have mana so you need to burn em with magic torment.

This is general idea of how i can complete the campaign. For spesific bosses you can ask me here for the best build and strategies

General Discussion / Re: What do you think is the most useless ability?
« on: February 08, 2015, 12:15:02 pm »
I think its just personal opinion which and which skills is better. Every skills are better at something. Maybe the worst skill is fradz skill which use distant to increase damage like wtf he is a melee hero.
That's the only skill i can think from objective reasoning.

All other skills have situational time when you can use it effectively and where you don't like galeoth frozen wave which make him stand in place and vulnerable to attack but deals unusually large magic damage and chills of the frost master which really powerful if you use it right.

General Discussion / Re: What's the best item so far?

Sargatanas is too weak IMO
I agree that some set are too weak for the long time for collect and finished it

ex : azureus (7 chapter and a lot of gold), orichalcon>sargatanas(maybe you should make it more often like 5th attack or so or increase the magic damage bonus), aero(so expensive, nice stats but not enough) super holgro(decent items that need a lot of gold)

Not that hard just use galeoth(with omega set, ice diamond, and mana shield) or phodom with heavy hp and regen to tank all the attacks while fradz attack from behind. The only thing you need to be careful of is the charged wave attack. The other attack just not enough to kill your heroes in one hit. Cast amulet of bless to galeoth and seal of ressurection to fradz and heaven's bless to phodom. So even you screwed up you will be resurrected. I have lvl 5 resurrection combat kings for all my heroes so not so easy to died.

I don't find any secret ending on my game (same cinematic with tears).
Can you spoil it because I might don't have time anymore to play I guess and I don't know if I have 10000 game points or not because i only played it once so I might not get it (sometimes game points get bugged too and got reset).

Actually you have cheat at zylcious fight (save and load).
Save the game when you in the middle of the fight and load it again and all green grounds will disappeared.

Relatively fast with galeoth except the green ball thing that can pierce mana shield
Be careful of that

Where is the like button?
WHERE IS THE LIKE BUTTON?

I usually die of TCO illusions because Yurgimar just keeps summoning them. Many times I have to face 6 of them at a time. I have a different items set up:

- Don't buy Gilmax => enough money for 2 Wizard Boots, which gives you: 150 ms (so good), Mana while moving (even more cool). At chapter 9, you would have around 10-12 magic balls (3k - 3k6 magic damage) which are more useful than Gilmax => I can get rid of Zocmo Set / Amulet of Magic / Steal MP/HP or restore MP/HP items.
- Basically I just give Fradz Aero, Phodom and Galeoth each 1 Wizard Boots => now they all have 450 ms, Phodom and Galeoth can heal themselves, Fradz can run and heal + lots of life steal.
- I also use some resurrection items like: Miracle Shield for Fradz (from c8 lucky box), Holy Seal for Phodom (nice 20% magic damage, can be used to replace your sargatanas which I don't even make). For Galeoth, I just cast Amulet of Bless on him, since he's hard to die (with mp shield and 1st tier ice shield). Azureus Set is so expensive and so useless IMO. I'm very impress that you managed to buy both Zocmo and Azureus set without give up.

Phodom: caster + tanker + healer
- Phodom Set
- Wizard Boots
- 11 Greater Balls
- Holy Seal
- Crown of Magic
- Ice Diamond (for 5k mana, the effect is bugged, it would be best if it is not bugged)

Fradz: focus on as + life steal + offensive effects (from jade / maximillan / excalibur)
- Fradz Set
- Aero
- Life Stealer
- Excalibur
- Maximilan
- Miracle Shield

Galeoth: another dps + offensive effects with enough magic damage to cast heal
- Galeoth Set
- Wizard Boot
- Soldier III Set
- Elemental Staff
- Jade Set
- Shard of Shadow

The only down side of this build is I don't have mana burn items and depends almost on magic torment combat king. I solve this by buying 3 Mana Rod, I plan to exchange Ice Dimond / Excalibur / Shard of Shadow for them before 3rd phase. However, I have never done that, why? => My bad luck, Yurgi just keeps spawning heroes, lots of them. It's nothing if I can load my game but my warcraft just keep crashing when I load my save games during phase 2. So in finally I just give up.

But I find it's pretty easy to beat 2nd phase of Yurgimar using this build since I just fight like normal, no worry about health / mana, they would never run out (sometimes Fradz does, then I just exchange Aero and Wizard Boots and run around, no big problem).

I hope next time when the final version is released, I would able to beat him, this time for sure.

Spoiler (hover to show)

Nice build too there. My build is not absolute though. Every build that work is okay.
But personally, I dont really like wizard boots because all of my hero already have maximum speed except galeoth (about 450) Its because the aura of zocmo's set. It increase 20% (or 25 i forgot) attack and movement speed. I wouldn't recommend it in hardcoure though because phodom is too squishy with that build. I have 25k health phodom (i have jewel of health, andenaj I, and andenaj II, ruby axe which give 1000+ hp bonus per chapter) and can die about 10 second if yurgimar get critical 2 times in a row. I wont recommend ice diamond and mana shield though it decrease your mana like hell I like it bugged more. Battlemage set more better for galeoth it increase 1 armor for every 100 mana you have which give me 100 armor and literally take no damage from physical hit. With high level magic convert you can use your mana and magic damage to basic attack damage (I have about 8000 basic atk damage which so painful, not to mention lvl5 magic torment).

I think your build more focused to spell power, but my build is different. I used the magic damage and convert it to basic attack (that why i focused on attack speed too, which i think more powerful because i have zocmo) with sargatanas and high level magic convert.

My build is not perfect though.
Any other build is welcomed here maybe i can get some inspiration from the others too.

Walkthroughs & Strategies / Yurgimar battle **** No Give-up
« on: January 05, 2015, 06:04:08 pm »
A lot of people asking about this battle. I admit it is the hardest battle in game I've ever faced.
There are 3 stages of this boss which will need different items and gameplays.

I finish this boss with no give-up **** mode. Maybe you ask how i get so many item with no give up. I use the gold items at Fradz and i get about 2,5 gold more (about 150% bonus), though it makes the game harder and longer. I have 6 slot items of gold and experience stats.

Phodom

Skill build
Blazing Fury
Meltdown            level 4
Flame Explosion  level 10
Heaven's Bless   level 12
Aura of Fire         level 13
Chaotic Rft          level 8

Item

Phodom's Set
Aero
Sargatanas
Gilmax
Elemental Staff
Azureus Set

Fradz

Sword Dance
Discharge                   Level 4 (Personally i really dont like this skill at all better open scissor stab)
Flash Strike                Level 15
Blessing of Lightning  Level 11
Invisible Strike            Level 4
Teleport Strike            Level 8

Item

Fradz's Set
Lifestealer
Zocmo's Set
Heavy Divine Maximilian
Dragon Buster
Jade Set

Galeoth
Seal of Ressurection
Magical Hammer Level 7
Frozen Fang       Level 12
Inner Light         Level 7
Magic Convert    Level 13
Frozen Paradise Level 8

Items

Galeoth's Set
Excalibur
Crown of Magic
Life's Stone
Battlemage Set
Ring of Wisdom

Stage 1
Items that are useful : -

It is easy just like facing espers no need to change any item or anything just whack the espers.
First esper not really hard.
Second esper you just need to run when he turned invulnerable.
Whack yurgimar till died.

Stage 2
Items needed in this stage :
amulet of magic, dark amulet, qzoch's set, giga ring/tera ring(anything to replenish your mana),
amulet of bless (nice item you get it from chapter 4 prospero, it is like seal of resurrection but also give you increased attack speed and lifesteal, and the best of all you dont need it to be in your inventory. Just pick it up use it to one of your hero and you can drop it. If you don't call this item really nice I dont know what else.)

There are 3 out of 4 debuff that you must choose.
The upper left room have 0% evasion debuff
The upper right have 0 mana debuff.
The lower left have disabled health and mana regen.
The lower right make you can't use panels (esper, potion, spellbook)

Don't go to the upper right chamber it is damn hard to fight with 0 mana.
My order is lower right first. I dont really need the panels and i never use it because i sell all my spellbook for money and I lost the espers because a leak in the game cache so it is not really affect anything.
Second is upper left. Evasion debuff is useful but it is easy to counter this one. When Phodom or Fradz get attacked and in critical condition use flash strike on fradz it will set yurgimar aggro to fradz which have 100% evasion skill from flash strike, with life steal it will replenish its health to full.
Third is lower left. You should change one of your items to item that replenish mana like amulet of great magic and dark amulet, so you will be able to regen your mana.

In this fight everything in each chamber is almost the sama. The difference is only the debuff.
Some skills that Yurgimar have
Normal attack : normally 5000 damage, sometimes can critical about 16000 damage
Knock hero : It will knock your hero far away sometimes it will get bugged and make you pushed outside of the box. He will used it when he doesnt attack and raise his hand.
Teleport away : it will teleport your hero to the edge of the box. When you pushed out of the box dont panic and just wait until he used this skill and you will be back inside.
Summon yurgimar illusion : Summon an illusion of himself.
Summon Chosen Ones illusion : it is the hardest skills to counter. He will summon phodom fradz or galeoth and every attack you made to this illusion it will damage your hero as well. If he summon one of three it is easy just use heaven's bless to the hero and you can whack the illusion till death without afraid of dying. If there are 3 you should run away, attack and heal simultanously to avoid death. You also can use phodom chaotic rift which will help you to run and kill the one you desired first. I recommend everyone have about 10k hp at least so it wont be too easy to died.

Next stage when you have enter three chambers, one yurgimar will be summoned to each chamber. You must kill it all to win.

Items which are useful : Replenish mana item and movement speed item (zocmo's Set, aero)

The hardest part is here. You must be really good at microing unit to win this. There are 4 yurgimars, when they are not attacked they will channeling spells that will damage you (like Hekhar's spell). You must interrupt them to cancel the spell or you will be as good as dead. It is easy if you can split your heroes to engage each one of them but they have bone regeneration which make it really hard to kill alone.

The strategy is to have 2 of your party whack one dragon until it dead while the other one try to interrupt all the other 3. This is really need a good micro skill because the attacked yurgimar can cast somekind of death red star spell? that instantly kill all around him.

The items that will be essential in this fight is amulet that can restore mana. Other items which will be useful is movement speed and lifesteal items. I use phodom to interrupt because he is the one which have lowest dps and he have maximum movement speed from zocmo,s set aura and aero.

It will get easier as one of yurgimar died. It will get easier and easier you will need to microing around for only 3 minutes. The firs 3 minutes will be hard but the later it is easier.

For stealing bone armor. Do you know you can steal it before the epic boss fight even starts?
Equip Fradz with all steal items you have and use three paths and holgro for stats. Go to Yurgimar and there is a dialog box to ready the epic boss answer no. You are still near to Yurgimar and he is not invulnerable. Use all the steal items and steal it voila you will get bone armor.

I will upload a video or picture of the battle later because my connection isnt really good so wait for it
