General Discussion / Feedback on chapter 9 Epic Boss

I hope this topic fits in here. If not, please feel free to move it to another section.

First, the chapter 9 Epic Boss fight truly deserves the quality to be called epic. It is a masterpiece. However, I wanted to point out a couple of things.

First Yurgimar tends to fly away after the Luyju fight every second so that it is difficult to deal damage and bring him down. He flies away so often, that it gets rather boring to fight the sticks of doom and the skeletal wizards so often. I don't know if there is a special trick or it is intended that he touches off so often but I feel this should be at least be revised in order for the player to deal more damage. Suggestion: keep him down for at least 10 seconds in order to keep it motivating and not so frustrating.

Second the fight in the room when you have to bring his mana down in order to deal damage. Sometimes he flies away and the circles of power occur. It is really difficult to stay alive in this phase because the damage dealt is rather high. I often was dead before I could even reach the circles. Suggestion: Reduce the damage dealt in this phase just a little bit in order to make it fair to reach the circles to stay alive.

I hope my suuggestions are worth to be considered. Nevertheless, the basic conception of this boss is really good and i just want to see it modified for balance reasons.

On a sidenote: I lost all my 15 lives because i was not able to reach the circles and I needed about 30 minutes after the Luyju phase to bring Yurgimar down with only fighting sticks of doom and skeletal wizards.

I would appreciate your opinion Aero and of cource other opinions too.


as I stated in the weekly update thread the whisps around the troll shaman did disappear a little too fast for my taste to click all of them in time.
So the reason of this poll is to give Aero a solid base for making the decision of making them visible a little longer or not. I would request that they stay there 0,5 seconds longer. So it still would be challenging but achievable.

how can I steal from Anthanex and the Omega monster in chapter 3. My steal chance is below 50% - how can one boost it?

Please help on this. I tried like hundert times stealing and there was no result.

Bug & Balance / Epic boss chapter 6

Hello Aero,

I tried to play the epic boss in chapter 6 recently. Here are some remarks:

First, I don't know if I am the only one experiencing this but the longer the fight takes the laggier the game goes. I think it has got something to do with all the objects in motion. This makes it very hard to control the fight. Once again, I don't know if others have experienced this as well.

Second, I think the boss is way to hard. It took me nearly 35 lives and I still found no way to sucessfully finish the fight. He had a skill to fully restore his hit points once in a while so it was impossible to bring his hit points down. Moreover he had a skill with which he could instantly kill Galeoth and Fradz.
Summarizing I suggest that you at least reconsider his ability to FULLY RESTORE his hit points so players can find a way to bring him down.

Edit: Figured out what is restoring his hit points. Still I think its way to hard, as the death coils are quite fast and you must really concentrate to hit those. Maybe only giving the epic boss partial hit point restoration from them and not full hit point restoration . Summarizing its till took about 25 lives to kill this boss, which I think is too hard.

/ The Forgotten Ones in chapter 6

anybody got a clue, what to do with the Forgotten Ones in chapter 6? Once you kill them they simply keep respawning and you can start the fight all over again.

Hello everyone,

I am stuck in chapter 4 in the maze to the epic boss. There seems to be a cave in which I am supposed to walk but it does not lead anywhere. Am I doing something wrong.
