Title: Critical Damage in-game
Post by: Doomlord on November 09, 2011, 04:40:12 pm
Well I really don't understand how the critical strike system works in-game because I see that a lot of items have descriptions containing +X% critical damage but I NEVER (that's in caps) see any critical text displaying on top of the characters. I don't know if it's not implemented yet or the critical damage just doesn't show up in text form.
And if it's not yet implemented then I clearly have no idea of how it can be done without a rather complex wall of codes.

Critical damage works a little differently as I think it's run entirely by triggers and variables. I presume it makes attacks do double damage, but I am with you that the red number with the ! after it is cooler.

So Aero can you make it display that animation?

Then what is critical damage rate ? The chance is supposed to be fixed at 10% and the multiplifier according to you is 2.
