Title: Mini-boss Guide (v1.6e)
Post by: Skasian on October 29, 2011, 10:13:09 am
** Work in progress ** **Chp. 7 will not be started as it is an incomplete chapter**
This guide is intended to teach players how to find mini-bosses or make them appear.
This guide does not include Main Quest Bosses, Elite or Epic Bosses (although I may have included some due to them being commonly asked).
I intend on doing up a nice map to illustrate the locations if Aero would kindly give me an unprotected version to take images of

If you need one, just ask him nicely in the chat. As for the guide, some of these (Nhutzi, Khutzi, Mighty Hydra) aren't technically mini-bosses, and you got some of the names wrong.

Defeat 'Khakhan Clan's Chieftain' in the Main quest west of the bridge.
Actually the Wildboar Chieftain spawns along with his guards when both Nhutzi and Khutzi are killed.

Thanks Chimto, changing now :)
I added in some of the other bosses accidently then didn't feel like taking them out after putting them in. Next version I'll redo this guide and split it into Bosses, Mini's, Epics/Elites. Just need some files from Aero now

it would be cool to have steal/drop information on this guide as well.

Isn't the item list adequate?
Hint Hint* Chimto... I don't think you've realised why people seem to skip your item list. I've mentioned this briefly before and so have others.
Your item list is 'TOO ADEQUATE'. It is too comprehensive and it is very complete. This is good in its own way but the downside to this is that it CAN BE user un-friendly and hard to follow and find stuff.
I've done guide writing in the past and the one thing I've learnt that was the most important was to make it easy-to-follow. By no means are my guides here great (they are all incomplete anyway), but it (your) is definitely 'like a dictionary' as someone else put it.
It is still a great guide, don't get me wrong and I use it all the time :) But for some it may be too hard.
As for the issue regarding adding items to this list. I decided not to do it as Chimto's Item List does indeed cover this and I would be directly overlapping into his territory.

Well, if you haven't known, you can search for a specific thing using the Ctrl+F function!

Not sure if you've tried using your own guide but trying to Ctrl + F something returns results that are quite difficult to use.
It's so hard to find what you are looking for even with Ctrl + F. I've been using your guide a lot and I can tell you now that SCROLLING is more effective to find stuff in your guide than CTRL + F!
