So here's the long waited final chapter of the campaign... Chapter 10!

Version 1.9r to 2.0

- Chapter 10 is now available to play, but it doesn't have Epic Boss yet
- Demon's Eye cannot be targeted anymore to self
- Fixed Book: Death Knights - Characteristics
- Fixed Chapter 9 Super Ogozaman Reward, now you should get it even if Ogozama is inside a box
- Rebalanced Magic Orbs & Ultimate Orb
- First four interludes are also added to the campaign
- And tons of other bugs fixed

NOTES:

- Please don't send murder post yet because of the story (there's still epilogue left)
- Come and join the chat (http://webchat.quakenet.org/?channels=TCO&uio=d4) to talk with the creators and other players, I will be there to the end of the year actively while finishing the game

 So, Aren't you suppose to be posting the chapter 10 version at Christmas or new year? It is not a big deal, just asking... :). You're indeed a great map maker  ;)

 Anyway, did we get super ogozoma when we challenge Yurgimar or when we defeat him (the epic boss chapter 9)?

Major bugs with this version include-
1. Phodom always starting with Trance and Magic Resistance, no matter which starting pack i choose.
2. Soldier's set armor increase not working. It shows the armor number, but it doesnt add up to the char stat.
3. Fradz ability Discharge is absolutely useless. It neither stuns as it says, nor deals the extra 2% max HP damage.

I am currently in chapter 3, this version looks very well made. The bugs dont really affect gameplay of you can avoid using bugged abilities and weapons. Well done man, cant wait for the Christmas release.

I just release randomly these version. But yes indeed I could release at anytime a version to fix things around chapter 10.

Was somebody able to kill Yurgimar in version 2.0? I was playing on hard difficulty, got all available items, 80 lifes, and full combat kings. Lost everything. Can somebody tell how to beat him (if it is possible on hard)?
In northeast room his spell pushed Fradz and Galeoth out of the fight area (and they were unable to return). But ok, as far as I understand I have to deciede 3 rooms - one after another. I have to damage him in every room for a fixed amount or just survive for a fixed time (events number)? Damaged him in northwest, northeast, southeast and his HP left was about 125K. But! I think that the cooldown of illusions spells has to be for sure nerfed! Yeah, the fight has to be hard, one of the hardest - but it was just like illusions illusions illusions die die die.
But ok, lost about 40 lifes on 3 rooms - but how to beat him after it? There were 4 Yurgimars and all got 120K mp. When I was fighting with the one that was in my last visited room - they all started to cast a spell - I've lost about 10 lifes before realised that all 4th Yurgi has to be attacked in order to stop the spell! But! I was unable to even run from one to another without atleast 2 of my heroes deaths. Ok. Hard, but I've understood how it works (am I right really?). And again a HUGE "BUT" - while my heroes were moving from one yurgimar to anoter - all 4 regenerated their mp to the full and the fight was like that - 1. If I was trying to focus one of them - other 3 were casting and I got my heroes died in 4 seconds. 2. If I was trying to fight with 3 of them 1 on 1 - it was impossible to counter the remaining one and he was starting to cast that constant damaging spell.

Aero, maybe you can tell how it has to work? It was hard to reaslize how it should be done - just constant fighting with 100000 illusions. Is it even possibly to beat him on hard? I was playing the campaign for about 10 times but it was too hard really, nothing to compare with (I'm not a crier, but in my opinion it was some kind of imba fight :o).

And btw Phodoms Phoenix Combo dissappered in Ch.8, while in Ch.9 it was possible to cast it again but you have to upgrade it from the 1st level (while in ch.7 I got the phoenix combo lvl 5).

Oh my, the phoenix combo bug remains...

I still don't have idea of how I was supposed to kill Yurgimar on ****, I mean, everyone says that whatever the difficult, they lost like a thousand lives on it...and I can't lose one :P. Oh well, maybe there's some kind of secret that we don't know? Aero is trolling very much these days ::).

Yeah, Illusions... This version of illusions is beatable (but very-very) hard. 1.9q Yurgimar's illsuions dealed twice much damage, that this ones :D Just not rush them.

When you're fighting 3 rooms, check bufflist of each Yurgimar, that tells you, what every room disable. Totally u need to choose 3 disables.

When you fighting last stage (when 4 Yurgimars with 1/4 HP), you must quickly kill one of them, afterwards you can send every character to others. Also, I always save spellbook for this stage and use espers. Faerga/Anthanex is good enough to kill one of 3 rooms.

Also always forget to report Aero about pushing skill bug, 'cause Yurgi always summons characters to corners, when some of my characters are sent to center :D

I think the black merchant in chapter 7 disappeared. Can't find him anywhere between 24:00 and 6:00.

I checked the code and the ability should work. It has the lowest cooldown of all abilities so it is kind of strong. What I think is not right, is that the enemies you hit were not "small or medium" sized enemies. If you think these should have been, please tell me what units they were.

Lin, thank you very much, I'll true to beat him again! In current version (as far as I understood you) I can kill hero's illusions without instant death after it??? I mean in previous version when the illusion was killed so the same hero instantly died.
And if I choose @no hp mp regen@ debuff - will I be able to heal and gain mana from items (like giga ring)?

And Shino - maybe you can tell us how not to lose a single life in such a fight on ****? ;D

Illusions are good now? Good. Now the heroes won't die if illusions die.

Health regen is health regen. Mana regen is mana regen. Of course potions, items and abilities are a different thing.

Just lock the things you want; check buffs. Last phase: I beat it by defeating one quickly and then send my characters to all Yurgimars at the same time. I used same tactic as Lin. Just watch out for those stars spells. Just like Lin, we both played with Easy/Normal difficulty. Also Espers are very nice as I made them a lot stronger than ever before. This suppose to be probably the second hardest of all. I believe in the future some might even say this is the hardest boss of the campaign.

About pushing - I mean the northeast Yurgimar pushes characters out of him - so after some casts of such spell he casted it naer to the force wall - and I got two of my heroes out of the fighting area without the ability to return - suppose that it was not planned to be like that [-)

Ok, I've understood the tactics - but what about the spell that they are casting together (all 4 Yurgimars)? The one that deals dps (the animation of Yurgimar - he stands on the ground, doing something with his hands with violet animation ;D ;D ;D) to the heroes until every Yurgi is attacked (and the damage is soo huge that it was even impossible to live for more than 4-5 seconds) - am I right that such a spell can be stopped by attacking every Yurgimar?
And I've lost all Espers in the fight in top left corner - that crazy beast killed my Espers with 5-6 hits or spells or what was it - I'dont remember.

But for sure I'm more than motivated now - I supposed to think that know the campaign and with the max items collected and about 100 hours played (sad that game points were set to zero after some save-load in version 2.0 but nvm :-X) - and that bone beast costed me 80 lives - anyway I'm going to kick his ass!

Finally killed the Yurgimar on Hard - epic fight, costed 30-35 lifes.
But again the Ogozoma was not actually upgraded  :o
The message appeared that I got the Super Ogozoma (but still in the inventory boxes there was just an Ogozoma, not upgraded).

Ch.10 - bug occured with that Bug boss fight - if he casts his "green screen" spell and will be killed during the casting time - the "green screen" won't be finished - I've been waiting for about a 5-7 minutes - nothing changed. Have to reload the game.
Can you please tell me how the decision with the Angel affects on the game?
Epic fight with the Angel gave one of the greatest item in the campaign in my opinion (the one that gives +6K hp, +50 stats etc).
Got some questions - how to enter to the Mother's lair? I was able only with the blink orb obtained from the library - but only one hero can do it. I've tried every cave, but can't find how to solve it :o

Actually the boss is present but the battle stops. And it seemingly closes the way we need to move to get to the bos and progress on the story. (And Aero, please(!) make something to that illusion spamming, its awful, no offends, everything else is great, but this particuar thing is clearly not).

There was a text the boss is not done and those were just the first and second phases.

He should create 1 illusion of himself every now and then. Also he has that one event he creates 12 of himself which will disappear after a while.

Now you guys can see that I have to test dozens of times just one boss fight before it works smoothly and finely. I've been now testing it couple of weeks and even at this moment it still doesn't work properly. A lot of work, and every single time I underestimate how much I need to polish things. That is the reason why it takes years alone to create a project at this scale.

The next minor version which I will release today evening will still not have fully created and polished Epic Boss.

So.. The boss, that you can't kill or escape started fight with him... Is not... Ah, holy ****, yes, this is good idea :D


Also, 1st Zyl's phase can be easily killed, if one of your characters will run his attacks (they're avoidable and have "minimal range"), others just killing true Zyl
