Do you encounter an OHKO bug with the spell Mystic Storm in chapter 2? I cannot recreate the bug on my own no matter how hard I tried.
Please include:
- Your version of TCO
- Your WCIII version
- The unit type(s) that cause the spell to bug
- Turn on "Show Damage Dealt" and tell how much damage the spell deals when the bug happens
- Any other information that you deem useful

I havent played the latest map yet but for previous version 1.9, mystic storm OHKO the big hydra mini boss in Chapter 2. My WC3 is 1.24e. And it did not show any damage dealt when I turned the show damage dealt on. Strangely it didnt OHKO the elite or epic bosses. I shall try latest map and update this.

i got both the latest version of TCO and WC3 and just yesterday night i had the bug where the mystic storm OHKO the hydras and not just the big one but also the small ones. i didnt get to test it on the epic or elite boss though. it DID NOT bug on the centaur boss however.

Bug only in ch.2 and kills big hydra but not elite and epic bosses?
I'm using latest WCIII version and playing latest version TCO.
One-shot killing w/ Mystic Storm reaches up to ch.9. It also OHKOs elite and epic bosses.
Even espers and dragons. Heh, even Yurgimar(first and second battle)...
Spell lvl corresponds w/ hero lvl - force of habit to always upgrade ultimate spell.

In that case I'll have to disable the spell until it is fixed.

Could anybody turn on the 'Show Damage Dealt' feature and tell me how much damage the spell dealt when the bug happens?

Tested against lava monsters and faerga minions.
-spell lvl: 1
-spell damage shown in multiboard: 87
-damage to lava monsters: 59
-damage to faerga minions: 45

@fel: Yeh the damage type is physical so the actual damage dealt is lesser than informed. However if the armor rating is negative...
A very, very weird bug indeed.

If it kills instantly... It has to a strange attack type or something. Maybe it's the jass that makes things bug? After optimizing maybe the jass will go crazy?

Sadly, the bug happens differently for each playthrough or it may not happen at all :P Thus I believe those are not the causes.

i have just tested this ability
My WC3 version: 1.26.0.6401
TCO version: 1.9a
Level 2 against mighty hydra and the hydra minions
The damage dealt on the mighty hydra was around 30 per second with the armor debuff working properly. I did not encounter a OHKO bug.

It OHKO the hydra, I'll try on other mini bosses and bosses. Btw I'm using the version Aero gave to test the crash bugs on chapter 2 and 3. The special skill I'm using is Power Orbs, just saying.

It OHKO anyone, normal monsters, bosses elite and epic. When activated, it summons a clickable dummy shown on pic with finger of death spell.
Edit: It does not really summon the dummy but when I activated mystic storm and there are no enemies, the dummy is unclickable or cannot be highlighted. Only after it hits anyone does the dummy shows or gets to be clickable/highlighted

Tbh I don't know what is causing the bug :P Perhaps you guys have an idea?

Make the spell with GUI and it will start to work!

It bugs olny for Hydras at CH2. Otherwise it's fine.

You do not possess the right to criticize my code unless you have sufficient proficiency and evidence. The code is long before the configuration part takes up half of the code already. You are judging in a purely unprofessional manner (Your X sucks. Period). Don't be offended though, I am just telling the truth.

If you cast Mystic Storm, then a cinematic is played, the dummy unit becomes visible. It also becomes visible when trying to dig.
Until someone else gets this. There isn't much more I can do.
Unless someone who has already had this remembers what items and spells they had. Plus how they leveled their spells.
