I had the idea to make this thread long ago but i had a few problems: my laziness, my schedule and...well, i was happy with the "favorite song" so i had no problems ;D.

YET i thought that i was posting almost nothing recently, so i finally gathered the courage to make my first thread :)(introduction doesn't count, neither does questionnaire). I'm a big fan of anime and such, yet i know that most of you like them(even if just a little).

Anime/Manga Thread

This is a thread made for the purpose of posting things related to Anime, Manga and anything like that. I seriously don't know how i can explain better than this, but if you didn't understand something, just ask me for a explanation.

Rules. Yes, there are some and you need to follow them. Also, all forum rules apply for this topic too.

You may:

Post videos, images, reviews, pictures that you've drawn, anything that is related to the topic's main theme.
Give your ideas and suggestions to improve this topic and to make it funnier and cooler.
Give your opinions. I don't know about the others, but i want your opinions about this topic, animes or anything that you think it's worthy to mention.

You may NOT:

Post anything not related to anime and manga.
Post anything that can hurt someone's feelings, even if it's related to the theme.
Post anything that have nudity and similars, in others words, NO HENTAI :P.

The rules may change if i feel there's something that i should add(or remove).

Now just some things that need to be mentioned:

If you don't know that your post is/isn't following the rules, you can always tell me what you want to post. If i think it's related enough, then no problem.
The worst that can happen if you post something wrong is that you post will be deleted, so don't be afraid of posting(this is not a excuse if you did it on purpose though).
I've already posted a lot of anime openings, OSTs... in the "favorite song". You can post openings here since it's totally related, yet i can't see a problem in posting them in "favorite song" either.
This is not a masterthread, yet i think if you want to post something about an anime or a manga, you don't really need to create another topic, just post it here.
Even with the rule of no hentai, there's a softer variation called "ecchi"(or H). The level of "echiness" is variable, so it may or may not be permitted to post.

Well, i think that's it, i've spent everything i had to create this topic(not really), so i hope you like it at least. Oh, any similarities with "other people's way to organize a topic" are just coincidence(or not [-)).

Aren't these rules already included with the main rules of the forum? Also, hentai isn't the only category with a "certain level of maturity", AFAIK from personal experience (due to an anime-fanatic IRL friend... sigh) such adult content CAN appear on regular anime. It might not be as direct as with the hentai, but it's there nevertheless.

...Or actually, that's the only one I got to ask, I found out the other question by reading this through again, but for all that: let those westerners who'll die in vain due to the restrictions of culture rest in peace.

I will not remove the rules, they are forum rules, yet i think it's needed to reinforce them(even if it's anime).
About the mature thing: I surely will change that, i didn't think about it that much when i wrote it(i made a review though)

About your last words...what the hell?I understood that the rest of your questions were already answered, but i couldn't understand anything after "...through again, ...".

Sword Art Online(or SAO) is an anime of this season. It's a light novel that got an anime and manga adaptation to be exactly. The anime is awesome enough to make me think again about my favorite anime choice.

I admit I've watched all the three big bad evil animes: Naruto, Bleach and One Piece some years ago.

Also I've watched some others like Evangelion, Black Lagoon, Gantz and Mirai Nikki. I always watch something when I eat, from all the way from anime to series like Rome and Battlestar Galactica.

I don't read manga.

Okay, this anime opening is kind of weird in my opinion, but that doesn't mean that it's bad. In fact, i really liked this opening for some reason...oh well...

Oh, the lyrics are a strong point about this music.

This is the first opening of "The World God Only Knows"(english translation), although the name sounds incredible and epic, the anime is a little different from what you may think. The anime is very good if you like weird protagonists and...other weird things.

Wakfu is a tactical MMORPG. It's called Dofus in Brazil... I've played it a little when i was...12? I don't know. I remember that i had zero motivation to play it, so I gave up.

What about it, Aero? You said that it's like anime, but French and i kind of didn't get it...(well, the drawing is similar to anime-like characters, but besides that...)

Thank God...Btw my favorite(for Kanto, that is) is Gyarados, since he's the evolution of the uselessest(what the...!)pokemon alive, yet he's VERY strong. It's a perfect example to show people that we shouldn't give up overcoming our weakness...or something.

Shngeki no Kyojin (Attack On Titan) is a perfect anime/manga for people who like to see other people dying in gruesome ways. That said the quality of the anime when it comes to image, soundtrack and opening/ending is something pretty amazing also.

You can guess from the name and the image that the story is about these horrible human-like creatures called the titans. They are some really big monsters that have the body of a male human, but without any reproductive organ. Besides, they like to eat humans. Because of them humanity is confined inside a huge(like, REALLY huge) wall to keep to titans from entering the cities. Besides the ones that live in these walls, the rest of the humankind disappeared.

The main character is a boy called Eren Jaeger that has the dream to go past the walls and kill all the titans. He thinks that the "peace" and "freedom" the humans have inside the walls are nothing but lies and illusions. And, in a certain day, the illusion was broken and a freaking huge titan(bigger than the wall's height) appeared and destroyed the wall, letting the titans go inside. And so the story goes around Eren trying to turn into a soldier to kill all the titans while lots and lots and lots of people keep dying.

Just finishing it with my opinions: The anime is still airing in Japan and I'm not seeing the manga until the anime is complete(just my personal way to do things). So what I can say about the anime now is...In Shingeki, hope is the first one to die. Yeah, I'm not kidding. The plot is freaking epic, but it's a complete tragedy. If you don't like people dying a lot(A LOT) then...you should watch it :P. Why? I don't like tragedies that much, but Shingeki is just so amazing that I don't care [-). Oh well, but if you really don't like tragedies, scary titan's faces and people losing hope even before they die(because they WILL) then you should think twice before watching/reading ::).

no, if u recognise that the picture is from deus ex: human revolution (adam jensen in the middle and belltower special forces lying dead around him), then u'll see what's the flaw -> the picture is anime-like while the deus ex itself isn't an anime or anyhow related to animes. some random guy just made a drawing of how deus ex would look like if it was an anime.

Jael came back from his ashes just to point out the freaking flaw that neither me or Aero could see :D.

...Not something uncommon at all :P (and not something I could see as a flaw. If it weren't anime like I would remove the post anyway :D).

Some anime fan's can be quite annoying. While I think it's interesting to see anime drawings in american cartoons/games, sometimes it's a little too...weird :P. And they abuse of this idea since the first images were created.

Well, some time I will post some "anime version" of cartoons and such.

And again I've gone to the anime event that happens in my city.

It's similar to alcohol in a way(I think so...I don't really drink). It's really fun and flowers at the start, but after a while you feel so tired that you feel like wanting to do nothing but stare at the wall and say "Uuh..." like for a whole hour. Luckly, I'm stronger than this, and just did it for 15 minutes.

Oh well, it only happens 2 times a year. It's worth the trouble.

I watched Attack on Titan and it's little like Game Of Thrones because everything is so mysterious. I think it was still just an average anime. At the moment withing Cowboy bepop and that's good.

Ooooh, I'll kill you ;D. Well, I don't watch Game of Thrones, but from what I know, I think you can call Attack on Titan softcore in fron of it :P.

I've never watched Cowboy Bepop. It's in my list, but I have some conflicting emotions regarding it. Some people say that it is s a true anime masterpiece and the best anime they have ever watched... but a part of these people are freaking haters :o (regarding another animes)! Well, I WILL watch it someday though...

I watched first three episodes and I didn't like beepop that much. Mostly because there's no good main storyline; the episodes are so random. However after three episodes I started to like the show. I also watched JoJo but that's so joke. I mean I laugh all the time because it's so crazy. I just can't take it seriously.

What animes have you watched recently?

Detective Conan, Sword Art Online II, Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance and Tokyo Ghoul. I mean, I say I'm watching them, but most of them (the exception is Conan) are still airing, so I'm taking it very slowly...

Detective Conan is a very famous anime/manga (and it is also pretty big...), but I've never watched/read it until now ::) (You can say it's a classic, like Pourquoi's beloved Doraemon).

I did read it a little. Just a little though... I plan to watch/read it more seriously together with the another hundreds of anime/manga that I sweared to myself that I'll watch/read, but that just can't find time to do it. Btw, perhaps I did it already, but may I ask if there's a special reason for you to like Doreamon ::)?
