Read before post:
  • Aeroblyctos only reads the first post to gather bugs(if unclear, then there might be questions)

  • Hamza is the one who puts all the bugs to the first post


Information about bugs:

  • The game crashes
  • Something isn't saved/loaded correctly
  • If you see an item with "BANNED" text
  • Boss is doing nothing, except attacking(all bosses have at least something)
  • Enemy doesn't give experience(every enemy should give experience)
  • Enemy doesn't give gold(exception: some bosses won't give and all respawning units won't give -> ALL BOSSES SHOULD GIVE GOLD!!)
  • Something wrong with item description(colors wrong for example)
  • There's an enemy unit that respawns and you can gain gold from it(you shouldn't be able to "grind" in this game)
  • Grammar error(about anywhere)
  • Music is not playing or two songs at once
  • An intelligent passive unit isn't talking back to you(floating text)
  • Item or ability doesn't do what it should
  • An enemy does something when stunned

A bug in Ch8. The boss is absolutely unkillable!!! His health goes down to 1, then his mana goes down to 1, but he never dies! I have magic torment combat king on Galeoth, but still nothing works!

chapter 2:
-Fradz lightning elemental skill isnt shown/can't be skilled
-dig spot between the two camps, it says' found low magic ball' but actually u find magic orb.

Elite Boss 4 is still bugged. He channels, summons one treant and then channels infinetely. Also, when he does another type of channel, he slams the ground to no effect, perhaps there were shockwaves there or whatsoever.

Hamza, is the upper-left part of the screen green? Then yes, this version. Yeah, another bug: life's stone doesn't craft. I get all the components, but it doesn't craft.

Hey all,

Regarding the power hammer bug, I think the bug works like this:

1. 1 dmg is added only when the no. of charges is even and greater than or equal to 4. This means that when the charge is 2, there is no dmg added; when the charge is 4, only one dmg is added and not 2 and so forth.

2. When the charge reaches 20, all accumulated dmg are negated and the dmg count resets from 0. Then, the problem in 1. repeats here.

Also, the epic boss fight in chapt 1 is buggy. When I came close to the entrance, several options popped out. So I pressed the last option, which is "I need to go now" However, that lead me straight to the epic boss fight! I didnt even got the chance to save. Needlessly to say, I lost the fight.

Using latest 1.8b I found these bugs:

- Magic torment bonus damage (based of character max mana is not working) - Galeoth with 1000 mana pool and Magic torment lvl 5 should deal plus 500 dmg to unit without mana - after I hit unit lost life coresponding to my base dmg reduced by unit armor - definitely less then 200 (Have tested 1.8 and 1.8a - not working here aswell)
- Orb of magic sold in chapter 3 has written in description: Basic attacks deal an extra 10% of wielder's max mana in damage. This is also not working. This item is clickable, not sure what it is supposed to do after activation.
- Battlemage cuirass should freeze attacking unit for 3 second once in 90 second - have never seen that occur
- After purchasing glacial ricochet speel and reading it, text "You have upgraded Frost Armature" appers
Spell is added to Spellbook, but does nothing after casting on enemy unit (global cooldown and spell cooldown are correctly triggers)
- Hotkeys in spellbook are not working - at least for Frost Armature and glacial Ricochet.

- this last one is of different kind, 2 ghost shops (one is normal, one is instead of currently removed spell upgrader) with same inventory appear in chapter 3 after acquiring magic orb

playing 1.8a

mission 2:
-I found the ellite boss harder than the epic boss

mission 3:
- say puzzle 1/3 i clean all the map. I think the 3 puzzle is the 3 on the epic boss?

mission 4:
- Phodom have +10armor from nowhere
- Murlock mini boss, when steal give Poison knife, when kill give Poison knife too (maybe it's normal)
- Poison knife description : "An item set" when in inventory, is only a rare item not an item set.
- The dig spot, mid bot of the map, when dig say "You found ." and it doesn't lie, no item ><
- Elite boss(the tree) at his second root he stay invulnerable, after 1min to wait, i load a save ... Second try he blocks at the first root.... 3try, the same he blocks at the thrid root.
When he bugs et don't attack when root. I think that bug when he summons treant in the same time as root.
(allready report)
- Kasvalti isn't invulnerable. He goes back when click on him else he stays. I kill him with my fire element (drop nothing :) )


playing 1.8b

chapter 5
- Flowers 26/25
- The teleport near monster who look like Ursa. Whe i walk on the teleport. I have the message who say they are desactivated (still not do quest). But i ve been teleport near the lucky box.
Taking the teleport near lucky box teleport me back.

chapter 6
- Gate can be all destroy, don't need key :)
- "Boss point (banned)" on dark messiah. And the image of the boss doesn't disapear
- "You found ." on the 1/4 left width and mid height spot
- Rebellion leader isn't invulnerable (every neutral unit witch i kill don't drop anything !)
- Can't do Elite quest. He ask for 10 honor point (have 43) and 30fire heart, i ve 33. So i farm a stack of 30 fire heart and still not work... When click on him he say "Brind ..." i think it's "bring" (with my bad english maybe not xD)
- Xada is a "superior" ennemy, i think "Scythe of annihilation" kill him (don't try, item was on fratz)
- Forgotton quest, need change the cinematik, he ask for a potion of mana and a elixir. (Quest don't work. )
- I make bug the deathless puzzle. they just stay 3 deathless 1blue, and 1 red, 1 orange. I think by searching i kill 2 on same time. And now, can't finish it :)
- Have vision where the both executionner die
- Gaeloth have half less vision range than the 2 other hero
- No time to loot the steal during the last fight, and take item from Xada, must do it on fight
- Main quest 5/6, the next chapter load alone. On other chapter, we have to press "ESC" for go on the next chapter


playing 1.8c
Chapter 7 :
- Doesn't have the star for "epic boss 6" in the multiboard
- Gaeloth has +2000dmg from nowhere
- Fratz has +10 armor from nowhere
6 Gqeloth hqs q bqd vision rqnge
- I start to visit, i find the "Explode minigame" i lost it. and Fratz is block in front of the PNJ, when try to run out, the dialog strat and fratz is put in front on him. The only way i find to deblock, is to win the minigame, then no more dialog.
- Can't steal any boss -> "Stealing failed" every time. (182% steal chance)
I think the message is bug, it must write "Cannot steal from the target" cause when i drop all my steal item allways have "Stealing failed".
- Tower minigame: Shortcut are bad (i prefer q/w/e/r/t).
I loose round 2,I retry after 5sec they say "round 3". I ve the message "Your life : 2" then the dialog "loosers" and i have the battlemage set. (Will rety it tonight)
-I confirm for tower minigame : When loose we start back at round 1. After 5-10sec the round change 2-3-4...
- Galeoth have back the bug +2000dmg (during 1min). Now he has +59armor from nowhere
- During the lich fight (portal on graveyard), he summons portal. After destroy portal foe doesn't stop to summon....
- 2 item name "=== Chapter 1 lucky box  ===" on shop.
- Shadow Set describe are right in the recipe. In the item is only 100% steal chance (120%)
- I find the boss golem harder than elite and epic boss. Or maybe it's a bug, is normal he still attack and replenish full life when he summons the circle of golem? Then, i can't do it without use the scythe (is a superior foe)
- Doesn't have the 2 star from elite and epic boss on multiboard.
- Epic quest isn't "complete" after beat the boss
- Quest Medicine ask for an "elixir" can't find.
- Can't finish optional quest "Holgro" (only find 1part at shop). Can't finish "Maximilian" (only find damned mask forthe damned set) Maybe i miss something.
- The next chapter load alone. On other chapter, we have to press "ESC" for go on the next chapter



chapter 5-6-7-8  (maybe cause i start the game on 1.8)
- Phodom still have +10armor,  Fratz still don't have his element ability (summon elemental)


Suggestion :
- "Scythe of annihilation" The proc is very op.
- Vampire Lord has a spell who hit hard. I ve seen my hero with a sort of an aura, and the life decrease very fast. Moving far the boss stop the life decrease.
The spell isn't easy to see. i suggest you make him life drain. A canalised spell then we will see easier.(and who is focus)
- Chapter 5 :
DoomLord (from portal) when he strats to flee the fight. I think you must make him move slower, take out collision, and make him stop using his spell.



Other :
- Crown of magic description is +8000 mana, in fact is only +800
- No time for skip cinematic at end chapter 4, begin chapter 5, begin chapter 6

Item set whitch is write ItemSet 1/3 (whith no name set)
- Left/Right Vampire fang
- Qzochs left/right

Many set item has the description "ItemSet 1/2" and don't know the name of the set. Can be confusing.
for example : "First sion" "Sword of night" "Trinket of rightneousness"

This isn't a bug, but rather a balancing issue. Also, how you responded to the tactics of these bosses affects how hard or easy they're in comparison to each other. And as such, when I did a run for these two bosses today, I found epic boss harder than elite boss.

Furthermore, the bug "green text on all menus" is non-existant in version 1.8b.

I don't know wether it's an old bug or not, but chapter 1 epic boss sometimes channels nothing for about 7 seconds while being invulnerable, then resumes back to fighting.

It's funny that in chapter 2 after i solved the obelisk puzzle, my wc3 just keeping crash all the time (fatal error), i'll try with the 1.8c to check if something happen

So far all bugs have been gathered and added down.

Not all are fixed, but I'll continue fixing tomorrow. Next version within few days with many things fixed.

Except spell book spells: I'll add these with 1.9 including the upgrades. Still need to create fourth ice spell and add Doomlord's ice wall.

Are you guys sure about this because I fixed this if I remember right. Now, enter a chapter, use give up and then go to prologue and load. It didn't work in the previous version but when you do the whole process now, I want to see if it works. Because I think it should work. Also, when you go to prologue to chapter 1, is your honor loaded properly?

Also, test it by first completing chapter 1 and then going prologue with the newest version.

Sorry that description is incorrect. I meant to refer to Fradz's Ultimate skill Lightning Orb. When the orb detonates, there is still no damage being applied.
TESTED, FULLY FIXED

2. Honor Points Prologue/Ch 1

Gold is fine, it gets recovered fully. I gave up on a previous map, then loaded from Give Up on 1.8c. In the Prologue the honor points and gold appeared fine in top right corner. But when I started game as soon as I got to Chapter 1 the honor points disappeared. The gold was there though. I believe the problem is with saving from Prologue, or loading in Ch 1. It works perfect in all other chapters (ch 1 to ch 2, ch 2 to ch 3, etc all fine)
Anyway I will try this again then as soon as I hit chapter 4.

3. Items - Power Hammer gives 1 dmg per 3 charges instead of per 2.

Power Hammer doesn't do what I wrote here, someone else gave a better description (see the spoiler in first post). I should change what I wrote. Anyway, I tested it on 1.8c and it's broken. The damage increases, then drops to 0, then increases in a strange manner. The charges work and show up perfectly though, after every kill. Just the damage doesn't get applied properly.

Doom Lord hasn't ever actually entered his portal when I played.. he walked right up to it and started walking back and forth once he got real close. Then I owned his face.

Aero already informed people that he didn't update Galeoth's spellbook spells yet. It seems only Frost Armature is functional at the moment.

Tested, and honor points do NOT load correctly in Ch 1.

Did give up in this version.  Prologue to chapter 4, then give up, prologue to chapter 1. Everything was fine until the start of ch 1, where there were 0 honor points and 0 lives.

First try he reach the portal.
Second try i block him with the 2 hero on the bridge. He only try to go on the portal, but i was blocking him. It's why i suggest it :)

Battle mage set doesn't merge as it should be, some of the dig site still empty "you found...", i guess in the last version they are "elixir". Power hammer just lose all of atk + after using shield of fire. "Soldier's set 3" 's clicking ability just make it vanishing without a trace, same old problem

- Description of item "Medal of honor" ( buy with gladiator point are wrong) are wrong in the merchant description
- "You found glyph of life" (near magic guild) and nothing
- I confirm  "Scythe of annihilation" work well on superior. And all foe on gladiator challenge are "Superior" (for example)
- I lost (don't know when) the bug +2000dmg on Gaeloth
- "Frigid whirlpool (BANNED)" reward of the alchemist quest (bring 6 flower)
- I can change flowers agains't 5 things. I choose "Froog hood". After that, i only can change flowers agains't 4 things (he removes "Flute of serenity" )
When choose "Flute of serenity" he removes "the clover" (haven't try to take clover)
- The item of Jade set no more say Jade set 1/5
- Butcher Armor don't say Butcher set 1/3

I'm just waiting for Aero to tell me which bugs he has fixed, then I can move those to the "supposedly fixed" section and update the "pending" section with the bugs Merlon found that are new.

ok i read this bug list and have to say chapter 8 boss is killable but their appears a bug: at 1 hp he prevents to die but after some time off burst dmg he dies, this happend to me by other bosses too (such as Faerga)

Because I removed it. Jade Set is a synthesis item, not a set item, so it shouldn't have that sentence, unless if Aero decides to add it to synthesis items too.

When i read the "Holgro" quest, i undestand i must find the last part of the empty dig spot i have found.
For the damned set, i say i have maybe miss something.
All the boss, all steal and dig done. I just ask for verify the item can be found.
Maybe i am blind and don't see the item. Or maybe is as the medicine quest the item doesn't exist anymore.
But, yes all i have report is not bug and it's my fault. I will stop to report.

And can you bother to learn to edit posts?

Dude no need to flip out like that. Just calm down. You have been doing a great job reporting detailed bugs of each chapter and I myself appreciate that. Yggy is a bit angry because the 'bugs' he quoted aren't bugs. It is just that you didn't check carefully before posting them.

However there is still an advice that I need to give you. If possible, try using better English in your posts. Good English doesn't only make your posts easier to read, it also makes them more appealing and helpful.

Sigh... A stereotypical fanboy... Only knows how to report bugs, and starts to throw tantrums all over the place when being criticised...
You completely misunderstood the post. I only quoted that one 'bug'; which obviously meant that I was only referring to that 'bug', and none of the other ones. Yet, you felt butthurt (since that post was meant to be criticism), and removed all the other bugs that you posted, without realising that they are true bugs.

At first this is just between Merlon and Yggdrasill but after reading this post I have to interfere.

I had dealt with a guy just like you before. One who attempted to interfere and talked like you are the one who was offended/felt butthurt in the first place. I don't know if you have had any clashed with Yggy in the past but it seems like you are trying to exact revenge on him through this for your personal gain. I will analyze the situation here for you because you are completely wrong. At first Yggy quoted some NON-BUGS from Merlon's post then said (rather rudely) that they were his problems and he should learn how to combine all the bug reports into a single post instead of stretching them out. He only talked a bit rude but his post wasn't flaming or insulting yet the guy Merlon threw a tantrum and started sulking like a girl, even going as far as deleting all his bug reports. He did it deliberately and Yggy's post wasn't completely responsible. Then Yggy pointed out how the guy misunderstood him and that deleting the bug reports was actions carried out by his own will.

Now you came here and posted that Yggy is offensive and stuffs. You even said that Yggy 'barked' to Merlon in a post that is (supposed to be) from someone who is trying to show empathy and understanding. This is really a cliche, insulting the 'bad' guy and supporting the 'good' guy. Have you done anything to contribute to the campaign's development yourself except for reporting bugs? The bugs can be reported by anyone who play the campaign and pay a little attention. Unline you and Merlon, Yggy here works hard to help the campaign in multiple ways, exceeding your combined contribution many times. And don't bother flaming/insulting me for this post, since I will be ignoring the posts that are directly aimed at me but I will be more than happy to have a nice and civilized conversation with you instead.

Peace. And yes I don't use 'How dramatic' because borrowing the insulted target's phrase isn't such a glorious thing to do in the first place after all.

By the way, Doom...since when "peace" is your new style?
Still...i wonder why people like to make a fuss in forums, chats and stuff, if it's not the funny type then it's no good. I mean, why get offended by something like words from some guy that you' ve never met before? Just give up, shut up and go do something more useful :P.

Aggressive, eh? I only criticised Merlon of posting not-bugs at the bug thread. And if you ask me, that post was offensive towards ME too; Merlon didn't look at the item list at all, and just assumed that the item is not obtainable. If it was truly unobtainable, he/she/xe/it/they should have at least put more details.

If I were at Merlon's place I also would have felt offended, he just did a great job reporting a great deal of bugs and instead of thanking him, all you do is to bark at him.
Anyone who is remotely attentive can report these bugs. If Merlon didn't post these bugs, then someone else would eventually do so.

Okay after testing, my Phodom correctly has 0 armor, I chose Power Hammer as a starting pack.

Can you guys confirm you still have +10 armor?
Phodom's +10 armor from nowhere are still there. (Used Savior starting pack within holy cross and permanent luck)

1. Wicked Gloves has an useable ability, but there's no mention of it in the description.
2. Elexorien II requires Labbela instead of Exepede.
3. Trinket of Kindness is obtainable twice.
4. Orichalcon recipe description should say Tempest Stone instead of Orb of Magic.
5. Omega Bracelet description lacks a colour code.
And a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes in descriptions...

Hello,

these bugs I have encountered:

I guess from chapter 4 to 5 all the lives you had from give up are deleted. I guess this is due to the old vitality systems as the soul torturers in chapter 5 can substract one "life" with their vitality draining ability.

The Life stone cannot be crafted like it is states in the description. Maybe a Zozi is needed to craft it. Will check it out later.

I'm sorry if that was already mentioned somewhere...but after Gaomdo fight at Ch8, there are only fire spells left in my spellbook. Which means I can't use Frost armature, or lightningbolt which are extremely useful. Fix that please.

also the jade armor stealable twice, one for both forms.. and there are empty digspots in chapter 8.

second is the fradz's attack power increases drastically in chapter 6. i saw it only once but i saw about +14400 attack power and he was killing the most powerful monsters easily with critical hits. i played a while and closed the game, when i opened again +attack power was normal.

phodom still have +10 armor

and from the suppesedly fixed section;

in chapter 8 the main boss is killable now i killed it.
chapter7 auction hall still acting strange sometimes not always
chapter 1 epic boss empty special event still there (happened only once)
potion of mana works perfectly
vampire fangs ozoch's set says 1/2 so it is fixed

Don't know what version of the map you are using, but in my version Orb of Magic is a direct component.

Elemental sword takes ancient sword, elemental stone, and sapphire. Excalibur synthesizes from elemental sword and orb of magic.

and i remembered that gladiator arena is bugged as well..
first i saw only team fight not solo fight in arena, after finishing the team fight, only the solo fight appeared but when chose leave i couldn't get the window for gladiator fight, that i mean when i walk over the arena circle nothing happened..

in ch5, doomlord appeared notify message is not appearing, although he has appeared already. teleported messages are alright.
elexorien II comes with recipe message "required elexorien I, exepede, topaz" after making it correctly(with labbela) i mean it writes on the item description itself, it should not be there..
and a minor but in ch5, the turtles aren't hostile so you need use attack command to force them attack you



should i modify my last message for the bugs i found recently or make a new message? does it matter?

Some other bugs I found:

- It seems that when I equip Fradz with the Scythe of Annihilation, whatever he kills will not gain gold. But without it, he can gain gold after killing units.

- Thunder skill is buggy. Sometimes it doesnt do damage sometimes it does. And sometimes the purge effect last forever sometimes it last for few seconds. This seemed to effect another bug on Chapt 5 Doomlord mini-boss, cause I couldnt steal from it even with the items that give the most steal chance. Tried for like 25+ times...

- There should be different pictures for lesser and greater magic ball.

- Chapt 5 Fishthern Mighty cant be found at the usual spot near the trolls.

- There seems to be a pathing bug for Fradz in Chapt 5. When I click on a spot, both heroes will start moving there. But when I quickly click on another spot, only Phodom will change target while Fradz will continue to walk to the first target before walking to the second target. And rarely but sometimes, heroes (either or both) wont move at repeated clickings for not apparent reasons...

ok! i have encountered to something minor but i wanted to add;

after battle with esper nyrzx the boss stats menu never dissappears. when i battle with another boss it works correctkly but still there after killing the bosses and 0 health, mana, and it's name.

and the bug i mentioned before i tried ch6 again and first fradz has +3600 damage and at the and it became +4400(after some item changes).  i don't know if it's intended but it's so easy to kill bosses even jurxy used his channeling tower only once:) he stand only 2 or 3 minutes.

in pending;
-campaign title in 1.8e is ok so it's not a problem anymore

I am not angry, only a bit irritated. Yeah well my nickname comes from Warcraft 3 TFT, there are units called 'Doom Guards' and I, at that time, think that their boss should be called 'Doom Lord'  :) Then overtime it becomes 'Doomlord' because my friends were lazy and they kept forgetting the space between the two words. You can just call me 'Doom' for short.

btw about this, just don't use the skip feature (left or right arrow) and it should work perfectly.
if the right arrow is used fastly than it occurs a lot but if you use it after 3-4 seconds from the item is shown it doesn't occur. that's what i see:)

and  the life's stone recipe description is wrong becouse it says 2400 health 1200 mana, 48 hpregen,24 mana regen but in fact it gives 4500 health and 2250 mana. also in life's stone description the price is 2400 which is recipe price. isn't that wrong either?

There was an incident a few pages back in this thread regarding a member of the forums called Merlon. I think there are some things that need to be said regarding this.

Firstly, Merlon has been treated in an unjust and frankly criminal manner, and for that I sincerely apologize for my part in it. All he did was reporting bugs from his own time, but regardless of his efforts I am responsible for speaking of him in a degrading manner, supporting another forumer in his insults and injustices against him, and speaking out against the only person who supported him in his innocence. Although to be fair CroCo was also a bit offensive in the first place.

Merlon, I am sorry for my behaviour, I realized my mistake and I want you to know that it will never happen again. Hopefully Yggdrasill will also apologize for his angry outburts, and the matter can be laid to rest with justice.

Thanks and sorry for disrupting the bugs flow! Let them come.

Found three major bugs in chapter 8:
- After the fight with Gaomdo I lost all of my spells in the spell book except for the fire spells and fire esper :((
- After a reload, all 3 heroes had an unexplainable additional 3000 dmg, making things too easy for me
- Terrain leaks!!! I can travel over mountains (the right side)

And btw for chapter 5, the reward for Pumpkin Problem wasn't 10 pumpkin pies but 10 lifes! Could be due to each pie giving 1 vitality. For chapter 6, when I fight the deathless creeps I periodically lose lifes due to decreasing vitality :(((

This seems to be due to Beserk combat king - bought all 5 for Galeoth and had +8000 damage. This bug occurs for all playable characters equipped with Berserk combat king.

Well, I'm new here and well I just wanted to point out some more bugs^^ Many of them are already listed here... It would be nice to complete such a great game.

First of all... the Power Hammer of Phodom: I'm in Chapter 4 now and I have all charges. There are 2 issues to deal with. First thing -> After every loading of the savegame you have to drop and pick the Power Hammer up again or you won't get the +dmg. The second thing is that after getting all charges the damage resets after killing another monster. So you don't profit from the Power Hammer at all.

Chapter 1: After restarting the game in 1.8e it really surprised me, that the monsters sight was so damn far O_o Attacking the lonely gnoll just right of Phodoms house forced me to take on about 4-6 Gnolls at once.

Chapter 2: At some point Fradz had a problem with the meditate skill. I think it happened either fighting the Scorpion King or fighting the two monsters south of the epic boss temple.

Chapter 3: I think there was just a minor language problem :D I think Galeoth said after the epic Boss something like "I am disappointment".

Chapter 4: The Elite Boss has an event where he makes some moves like he is throwing something at me. Couldn't see anything at all. Looked like I just died randomly... The damage was extremely high^^
BUT you can avoid it somehow by moving around. It just kills you sometimes even while moving...

Chapter 4: After killing the Boss and the three Dragon Slayers survive you can click on them for the items... but you can't read what they're saying. There are two texts overlapping.

@liauyuancheng: Well... I unfortunately didn't get the 10 lifes after the Pumpkin problem ._.
But the Soul Stealers are stealing my lifes off me :D Vitality Bug^^

First thing -> After every loading of the savegame you have to drop and pick the Power Hammer up again or you won't get the +dmg. The second thing is that after getting all charges the damage resets after killing another monster. So you don't profit from the Power Hammer at all.

Chapter 1: After restarting the game in 1.8e it really surprised me, that the monsters sight was so damn far O_o Attacking the lonely gnoll just right of Phodoms house forced me to take on about 4-6 Gnolls at once.

Chapter 2: At some point Fradz had a problem with the meditate skill. I think it happened either fighting the Scorpion King or fighting the two monsters south of the epic boss temple.

Chapter 3: I think there was just a minor language problem :D I think Galeoth said after the epic Boss something like "I am disappointment".

Chapter 4: The Elite Boss has an event where he makes some moves like he is throwing something at me. Couldn't see anything at all. Looked like I just died randomly... The damage was extremely high^^
BUT you can avoid it somehow by moving around. It just kills you sometimes even while moving...

Chapter 4: After killing the Boss and the three Dragon Slayers survive you can click on them for the items... but you can't read what they're saying. There are two texts overlapping.

@liauyuancheng: Well... I unfortunately didn't get the 10 lifes after the Pumpkin problem ._.
But the Soul Stealers are stealing my lifes off me :D Vitality Bug^^

I sincerely thank you Kadaj for being one of the few people who bother to read through the list before posting bugs! Congrats and keep it up.

About the bugs, there is a couple of things I want to point out.

Chapter 1: Attacking the single first gnoll bought the rest of them? Some gnolls are grouped so attacking one will make the whole group retaliate. Also can you confirm you didn't use Defensive roar?

Chapter 2: Both those monsters have poison or damage over time skills that last after they have stopped attacking you. Because they do damage over time, if you meditate within a few seconds after they have attacked you last then that damage will occur and stop meditate. Solution is to wait till the poison debuff disappears off your character status, ie a few seconds after they stopped attacking you. Then use meditate.

Correct me if it isn't that.

Chapter 4: I call it a ****-nuke and it is perfectly normal. See my **** video walkthrough linked in the walkthrough section of these forums for what it looks like. As to why you did not see the animation, make sure first that you have the graphics settings of warcraft 3 set all to max.

The rest of the info is great and I'll what needs to be added as soon as I get back.

Aero is fixing a load of stuff currently so prepare for an update soon.

Well, I didn't use Defensive Roar. I chose Blazing Fury^^ I remember attacking a spider south of the map led the whole spider battallion attacking me at the same time, too... including the Mini Boss xD

Chapter 2: Damn... Unfortunately I can't remember using the Meditate Skill again at some other time. I will just give up and check it out again^^

Well I have some more bugs but from 1.8e... don't know if they're fixed now...

Items: Soldiers Set -> I had all Soldier Set parts organized in one box and after buying the Shield for fusing them to Soldiers Set (3) it fused instead with the Sword (I think) and Soldiers Set (1) to Soldiers Set (2)^^"

Items: Also you can buy at the merchants in Chapter 4 the item "Chapter 4 Elite Boss: Steal" (It's the Trinket of Kindness) and in Chapter 6 "Chapter 1. Lucky Box"

Gems: On top of that it wasn't just Ruby and Topaz lacking colour Codes, but Jade and Sapphire, too.
In the description of the other Gems the Capital letter is always missing (Diamonds -> iamonds)

@ Doomlord: Well the Damage Bonus is very nice of course. Helpful at times^^ Will pick it the next time again :) Can't compare it to all the other Skills though... didn't use them. I rely only on Attack Damage X_x I used the passive Area Attack skill before. So I'm a bit spoiled and unhappy that it's not passive anymore :D :D

I have read the reported bugs and haven't found this 2:
Dragon buster doesn't combine. I was using True Zozi. Not sure whether that is the problem.
The time of the day in ch. 7 is stuck at 12:00. I have finished until the epic boss, but it hasn't moved yet. The light intensity, however, has gone down. It seems like its 7 pm or something, but it indicates 12:00. The thing is that I can't get the daemon javelin because it is never night time. Either that or the place has been changed.

About that time stuck thing I noticed it too. I managed to still get demon javelin though, near the end of the chapter I checked the time and it was stuck at night.

Apart from that I think the merchant appears somewhere else at day time, somewhere to the northeast of the Red Area Teleport in the bottom left I think.

Anyhow thank you for taking all the time to read the entire buglist (you're one of few who bother), and thanks for the bugs I'll add them in a bit.

Unfortunately that isn't a bug. If you cast it when your attack is disabled then you can't attack during it. That's due to Noc'toriah's dual disables.

Currently the only way to get it to work is to cast it right at the end of your attack disable just before spell silence starts.

Okay... here I am again :P

Chapter 1: Music Bug -> When you're near town, it's a crazy and annoying tune because both sounds are playing at the same time... I think it also happened with the cave of the ogres while you're near the spiders...

Skills: Flame Explosion of Phodom doesn't always stun... it's like... you have to be lucky or something O_o

Epic-quest: The Archmage did 2 Events without triggering anything at all. (I think it was bad luck, but I was killed during the Scenario, when he was defeated, because he casted those flaming waves right before it xD..)

Chapter 2: Balgarom Army "Bridge Guard" near Dig-Spot in East Side -> Texts overlapping^^
Also still the same Problem with the Dragon Slayers in Chapter 3 after killing the Boss without anyone of them dying.

Elite Boss: Some of Noc'toriah's Sphere are sometimes not visible :/ Looks like you're dying randomly^^

Items: Sword of Haste and Power Hammer have the same Problem after loading a saved game... That you've got to drop and repick them for the +dmg and +aspd^^ Except that the Power Hammer is useless after the 600 Charges (except for selling), because the Damage is resetted after the next kill.

Chapter 3: It's not really a bug, but there're 2 Ghost Shops with excactly the same Items... don't know if it's intended.

Items: Omega Orb still can't summon the Elemental Golem with the right Stats^^ Stays at 250 HP

Chapter 3: Multiboard Bug -> When everything is done -> puzzles 5/3

Items: Turtle Shell can be clicked on, but it has no usable Ability.

Chapter 5 Multiboard Bug: When everything is done -> Flowers 28/25 Main Quest 4/5 Puzzle 0/1 Mini-Boss (7/8)

Chapter 5 Epic Boss: Don't know if it's worth mentioning: In his third form Jack made a special move which pushed me right into the cages... Fradz was trapped and i could restart the fight^^ If required I have a screenshot^^
Also don't know if it's worth mentioning, because it may be intended but the Scythe of Annihilation gives no Money and no Exp.

Items: Potion of Life should be named Potion of Honour :D :D It gives Honor Points instead of lifes^^

Chapter 6: Vampire Lord Aura doesn't vanish after he's killed. I killed him, while it was active.

Chapter 6: I  wanted to read some books, but I couldn't even open the Book Menu.

Well that's everything so far^^

Really important: Deathless in Chapter 6 are stealing lifes... Vitality Bug

Keep notepad (so it doesn't slow down your PC) open in the background, and make a heading with the chapter title. Then any bug you find just make a new line and write it down as you go along. Would be absolutely fantastic help! Just send me the text files or post them up here, if you don't have the time then you don't need to even read through the list to check if they haven't been posted, just post them up and I'll add whatever needs adding.

And I am simply announcing the helpfulness of a simple task. If people would do such a thing, it would benefit TCO as a whole and should be encouraged. Kindly explain how this falls into the realm of propaganda when not only does my post fail to be biased or misleading, but it does not in anyway promote a political cause or point of view.

I started playing the campaign again and I found some really wierd music bug in ch1.So my warcraft isn't the same warcraft I used on my old PC , this one is not able to use the Creative Labs music supporter so I use Miles Emulated.

But I do think this is an actual bug.In ch1 after you beat the main boss , the song with the sadness theme continues playing.The funny thing is , if you move the screen away from Phodom , the music stops(and if you bring the screen back it restarts) , so it is a sound effect not a music effect.Then if you enter the ogre cave , the sad song stops.But if you exit it , the cave music will continue playing as well as the sadness theme(as long as the screen is placed on phodom).If you enter a city , the city theme will overwrite both the cave sound and the sad theme , however if you exit the city they will start again.

This is a greater overview of what Kadaj said.

I wanted to see what happens so I tried the epic boss , the boss theme overwrited both of the songs , and after I exited the cave , everything was back to normal.



Also another bug(I don't have a print screen sorry) Max has the quest marker on his head, but if you move to him he gives you no quest(after finished the main boss)

Book Bug: When reading for example the Book of Phodom the text is is displaced deep down of the screen. So you cannot read it at all... Well... you have to see for yourself :D

Chapter 1: One citizen in Dalli has his text overlapped...

Items: Orichalcon Recipe ist wrong... You require Tempest Stone.. not an orb of magic

Items: Pete's Pipe -> No Cooldown is seen after use

Excalibur Recipe Fail xD -> Well... Elemental Orb has to be used with the Ancient Sword for the Elemental Sword^^ But... after you combine them you can't create the Excalibur, because you have used the Elemental Orb already to create the Elemental Sword...
I think I read somewhere that you need the Orb of Magic to create the Elemental Sword, but you can't combine them...

Chapter 6: In the Lost Children Dialogue he still says, that he needs an elixir :D

Chapter 7: Terdoom Castle Guard at the castle text overlapping...

Chapter 7: Book Menu still cannot be opened...

Chapter 7: You don't get a Frigid whirlpool, like it's displayed, but an impale: On top of that the description of impale says "Not yet in the campaign"

Chapter 1: Black Hooded Man has an BANNED Left Vampire Fang :D

Chapter 7: The Dragon Slayer apprentice of Prosperus with the sword has an BANNED Zwill Blade

Chapter 3: After killing the Dragon Spirit you won't get a Dragon Amulet like it's displayed, but a Jade Amulet.

here are some bugs organized the way u asked :D

chapter 3

chapter end boss (giant spider) didn't drop anything. don't know if it's intended. i stole the claw and i killed him with galeoth's frozen storm (12 waves + wavex4)

i klled the esper, added him and activated him at epic boss(after using ring). at the end of the chapter, in game progress table "espers acquired : 0"

Chapter 4

at the jungle merchant, second line, fourth row is an item set, sword, named " ===Chapter 4 Steal: Elite Boss=== " by the looks and properties i am preety sure it was supposed 2 be "trinket of kindness". don't know if it's a minor bug... maybe u wanted 2 send an undercover message :)

"trinket of kindess" can also be found by digging on the right margin of the map, at about 1/3 from bottom. it's description says "unique". don't know if it's intended to be a double or not.

black merchant sells power orb. upon buying it, he took the gold but gave no item.

chapter end boss doesn't drop anything. i stole the strange log. i think i didn't read something. 2 chapter end bosses w/o drops can't be a coincidence but i guess it's better to write it down than to assume :)

Fradz
- kills made by using electric ball do not add as charges in HP/MP regen book. didn't test with another item.
- also, +1 HP regen / 2 charges doesn't add into table and doesn't regenerate the HP as it should either. i think it is +1% not +1 HP regen/2charges. same with MP regen.

It's the compulsory story boss, so it doesn't (and shouldn't) drop items.

Same as chapter 3, but this time, if you can keep Prospero, Jinx and/or Amaranth alive during the battle, click on them after that for some stuff. Apparently, nearly everything compulsory in the campaign doesn't give rewards...

Well the presumed explanation is that those compulsory boss fights are for your characters' own survival, so ofc there is no reward.

Yeah that is a bug with the multiboard there.

About the new spells thanks for the praise but I think that freezing field is powerful enough already. A slow will just make the spell OP.

To defeat the ghosts for now, just use omega gloves that you steal from the epic boss. I will add the bugs though.

I can assure you that my code is flawless. The mystery at the moment is I didn't implement anything remotely similiar to instant kill in the code nor set the spell caster (Fradz) to not be the damage dealer. This is the reason this bug baffles me greatly.

An ability that worked in the test chapter of 1.8f but bugged now? Make no sense whatsoever to me.

I would love to hear other people's experience of mystic storm when playing the latest campaign. No one else seems to have reported it so far so this could be an isolated case (or they may have seen this discussion and not bothered perhaps).

You should probably try it in Chapter 2 of your campaign too, the test chapter isn't the most representative of places to try it..

Anyway it seems that I have pinpointed the problem with Mystic Storm. Due to the campaign's usage of a customized attack-armor system, the skill sometimes deal infinite dmg against some enemies.

Nevertheless, I am not completely certain about this matter. I would be greatly appreciative if someone can contact Aero and test the fixed campaign then report if the bug still persists.

Chapter 8 after encounter Bandits group the Cinematic's Music play along with Main Music.

Medal of Friendship's Magic Damage Aura is not working. I try pick it and drop it many times, Magic Damage is still the same.

Damage Deal, Recieved Damage and Exp show are deactive at the beginning of every chapter.

About this, just save before you do that puzzle. Then if it crashes just reload and try again.

No one knows how to fix the random crashing atm, but luckily it doesn't crash every time.

Impale spell in spell book does not seem to do anything.

Also, these have been reported already but as i have not seen them in the buglist I report them anyway:

The Andenaj III does never root an oponent
The Jade Set cant be used to gain an armor bonus.
The Jade Set never heals an oponent and allies (The healing blast does work though)
The Flame Cloak does not give the damage dealing flame aura

Also I have never seen the explosion of an enemy when you kill it with Apocalypse in your inventory

About the heal blast - I am not sure if it really heals and damages opponents - have to test that again - the animation works though.

Apologies again I meant the magma cloak - I didn't choose Aura of fire in my last playthrough - so I suppose it really does not work - there is also no animation visible (while flame cloak has one)

About Ground Zero, its cooldown in Phodom's skill and skill upgrading isn't same.

Aegis Shield description in bonus pack and itself tooltip isn't same.
In bonus pack it say give 20 magic dmg every 10 charge and the maximum charge is 600.
Itself say +1.5 magic dmg every charge and the charge maximum is 450.

there seems to be a major bug in chapter 8 in the Gaomdo fight. After a certain  period of time Gaomdo just vanishes and leaves only the rotating skulls behind resulting in your hero being stuck there.

manstein, at what Gamespeed were you fighting Gaomdo ?
Such a bug was already noticed to appear in the Gaomdo fight (at version 1.7), if playing on Slow or Normal Speed. (Aero tests his Bosses only on High Speed)
According to the BugList on page 1 this Bug was fixed.
I had no problems on my last playthrough, but I didn't reduce the speed for this boss, so my guess is, that the old bug is back...
(So please try to fight him at high Speed and with some luck this solves the problem)

EDIT: I just tested myself. The old Bug still persists. If you fight Gaomdo on Slow or Normal Speed he disappers, during the event when he teleports in Phodom's back and releases some shockwaves!

More bugs:
Galeoths Set mana shield can't be activated and the aditional MAGIC DAMAGE/ 10 damage is not added to basic attacks (meaning I can't see it being added up, but if it is not supposed to be seen in the attack damage calculation this might not be a bug)

Winter's tear does not add the 10% magic resistance
The Shadow set does not add up 1% evasion each second when the hero stands still

When you activate the soldiers set (3) and have Aero in your inventory for both items the cooldown is applied parallely

Oh no don't tell me the Gaomdo bug isn't fixed! Typical eh..

Also when I activate soldiers set (3) it disappears from my inventory a few seconds later! Anyone else had that? This was tested in chapter 6.

In chapter 7, the Auction Hall is a little buggy. One time, they have 2 stuff in the seller inventory, then I win, i got only 1 of the 2 stuff( the second), and the first stuff disappear for ever (Ring of Hope) so i can't finish the set. After that, the only item i see in, is Lucky Horseshoe and ! (Nothing). I Couldn't have the DAMNED CARAPACE too and the Gilmax.

Found several bugs and balance issues (or not):

- Potion that supposedly gives a new life actually gave a honour point instead
- Potions that I crafted can give me 3 strength/agility/intelligence or 5 new levels but the potions I got as rewards from the Nightmare puzzle can only give me 2 strength/agility/intelligence or 3 new levels. There's a discrepancy here...
- Description of potion of experience does not have correct colour code
- Balance issue: Why potion of health gives 100hp but potion of mana gives only 50mp? Why potion of attk dmg gives 50 attk dmg while potion of magic dmg gives 100 magic dmg?
- Last question of riddle questions at every level does not give honour point upon completion
- Where's the last miniboss for chapter 5? And where's the puzzle for chapter 5? And where's the 4th puzzle other than deathless, teleportation and nightmare puzzles in chapter 6?
- Chapter 2 Epic Boss the Fradz vs Fradz stage: If u skipped the cinematics leading to the epic boss transforming into Fradz and attacking you, your Fradz hero will disappear in the stage, leaving only the epic boss. You cant continue anymore.
- Black Merchant says he has Power Orb, whereas he gives Magic Orb in Chapter 4
- Miraga?s Set loses 1 hp regen and 2 armor from its constituent items
- Zocmo's set loses 2 armor from its constituent items
- Demon's Sphere loses 5% evasion and ability of "occasionally summons a sword dealing (STATSx10) damage to an enemy" from its constituent items

Some errors in the game:

But when I craft the potions, they become the same potions as what was given to me, aka 2 points in stats or 3 new levels only. So please tweak the description
- Solider set 3, jade set and aero dont have their item quality tag
- Galeoth set description not complete
- Glacial ricochet and impale spells do not work
- Green aura on all 3 heroes after killing elite boss in chapter 8
- Issues with scoreboard, I defeated the elite and epic bosses in chapt 5, 6, 7 in easy and in normal but the scoreboard didnt show that.
- There's also problems with counting of main and optional quests in chapt 6, 7 and 8 on scoreboard.
- Attack speeds not shown on scoreboard.
- Auto go nxt chapt at the end of chapt 6 onwards
- Lastly, in chapt 8, when I complete the ice demon vs fradz quest, the quest that showed to be completed was the 'Challenge!' quest about the crystal cave monsters!
- Using Mystic Storm makes a death knight appear above Fradz in chapt 7
- Visible and clickable mystic storm dummy unit in chapter 8 after epic boss fight
- Banned Zyl Orb with the black top hat guy for Ambush quest
- Shockwave spell for Benemoth in chapt 8 didnt do any damage
- 2 jade armor stolen from the healer elite boss in normal and infernal mode
- Chapter 8 riddle question: Max no. of otzi horns obtainable. I answered infinite but it was wrong. Why? U can buy the otzi horn from a shop in Troll Village!

Maybe the problem is with the level of the combat king, cause it's normal in level 1 and 2(at least in my case). Btw, does the attack change "normally"(like, if you lose HP, the bonus get bigger...)

Seems to be some interaction with other Combat Kings. Everything else works normal, just 4k damage added. Sometimes the bonus damage randomly vanishes but then reappears after a while.

Haven't tested everything, but the damage increase from berserk works and is based on the actual damage you have, without the 4000 extra. So with 100% increase you wouldn't give you 8000+ damage (not quite sure but very likely).

Hi there, my first post here :). thought I'd start with the bugs i don't seem to see in the first post here given that they just ruined my first attempt at a **** playthrough :/ (this campaign is hands down the best map / custom mod in WC3 but would be incredible if it wasn't for the plethora of bugs). Have encountered 90% of the bugs already mentioned here and have made a pact not to 'experiment' with new builds / strats anymore for fear of coming across a bug that will destroy my entire play-through :(.

Anyway here we go:
Ch. 2: i chose the following skills for fradz: magic orbs, scissor stab (1), flash strike (2), blessing of lightning (2), Invisibility (1), Teleport Strike (0); brackets indicate how i distributed the starting 6 levels, starting pack was lucky dice. When i go to the bridge, activate blessing and try to dig for the greedy armor, i can't (it says treasure too deep). i checked the multiboard and my dig power DOES go up to 1 but i can't get the armor! (i can however get the magic orb just north of there but you don't need any dig power for that anyway).
Ch. 2: Oh and because lucky dice gives the beserker CK, i started with +1000 dmg (which goes away the moment you drop from full HP of course). I'd humbly request that this particular CK please just be taken out. Its ruined my TCO playthrough 2-3 times now (the dmg bug never fails to come back at some point and kills the enjoyment really).
Ch. 2: Here's the best one: i tried to restart the map to see if this would persist and when pressing ESC to skip the opening scene, not only did it not skip it this time, it automatically made me lose while the opening cinematic was playing! (Game over screen popped up!). i've attached a screenshot of this.
Ch. 5: This is just one example as, from chapter 5 onwards, there are numerous issues i see with the multiboard. Even if you kill all minibosses in chapter 5, it will stay at 6/8. I'm pretty sure the culprits are the pumpkin jack and the Kaza leader (they don't register as mini bosses on the multiboard when you kill them).
Ch. 6: similarly, the elite boss will always show as 0/1 in chapter 6 even after you kill him.
Fradz Starting packs: Fradz' sword of haste powerpack still appears to mess up, it worked fine for me in the earlier chapters (charges maxed) and in ch. 5 i gave it to phodom for creeping. however in chapter 7 when i put it back on Fradz it again appeared to not make any difference to attack speed.
As has already been mentioned, the regen one does not work either. in chapter 2, when i maxed the charges and put it down and picked it up again, it made no difference to my regen rate.
the scope one does not improve your stealing chance either. On the multiboard my stealing % stays the same whether i have the scope on me or not (and in practice, it made no apparent difference when i tried to steal from the bosses. If i actually had +100% steal chance in chapter 2, i should have been stealing from every boss on the first try, especially after activating blessing of lightning!)
Galeoth Vision: while this has also been mentioned, i'm reiterating it as i've encountered this bug on at least 3-4 occasions now and there was no true sight item involved at the time which leads me to believe the occurrence is a result of something more generic (i encountered this bug twice in chapter 3 and had to restart it as reloads were not having any effect).

Balance (disclaimer: these are all my opinion ofc):
* Certain quests appear pointless to attempt:
Ch. 5: the teleport quest in chapter 5 doesn't provide any benefit; because you can access the lucky box everytime through the teleport on the mountain just above where you meet Anatholo and the permanent luck point is also accessible by vacuuming it to your hero (stand just southwest of it). Even if this was not the case, i would still debate that sacrificing a greater magic ball is too much (from my limited experience, magic dmg >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> physical DPS in this game).
Ch. 6: Similarly the forgotten ones quest gives an extremely subpar reward (skull of chaos in exchange for spending almost 3k gold is too much; either that or i'm not seeing the benefit of the skull).
Ch. 7: which is the 5th mini-game in chapter 7? there's the racing one, the tower one, the exploding rate one and the circles one. in the 'TCO items list' thread in the walkthroughs forum, it says theres a magic stones game for which the reward is a greater magic ball. I started playing from 1.8g onwards so, was this perhaps from a previous version or am i just missing something here? O.o

The Kaza Leader and the Pumpkin King have never been minibosses.
As for that 8 number, there used to be 8 minibosses here; but Aero removed one (Fishtern the Mighty) and remade one (Vampire Lord). And he forgot to change the number in the multiboard. So typical of him.

The stones are at the temple, east of the smaller market at the south. There's literally no hint of the minigame's existence. The minigame itself involves clicking on the stones to change their stance until all of them change into a certain stance.

Ah i see, thanks for the clarification Pourquoi. Will have to check the chapter 7 minigame when i get to it (I started another no give-up **** playthrough determined to get through it).

I do have one more complaint though its already been mentioned: please for the love of god fix the chapter 4 epic boss in a simple patch update! i got to him within about 6-7 hours of gameplay (all chapters up to that point), and have had no luck beating him after 10 failed attempts. It wasn't quite as apparent to me before when playing with give-ups (better items = more magic dmg) or on extreme (more lives to recklessly throw away while chasing him like a lunatic) but killing him right now seems completely dependent on luck :/. His pattern is completely random and landing a single ground zero nuke on him is close to impossible.

Honestly he's making the entire **** no give-up playthrough hopeless, i even went so far as to buy the beserk CK in hopes of getting the dmg bug :P and the one time i actually need it, it doesn't work.

My current suggestion is to simply remove the time limit until his pattern can be stabilized and a strategy formed around it.

Generals badge starting item gives no armor.

Chapter 6: One of the butcher item set does not say that it is part of the butcher set (it still combines, but it is labelled as unique or something.

Edit: I also just found in chapter 6 that a potion of life gives me an honor.

Finally done with the **** play-through, a couple more observations:
- butcher set sells for less then its components. the set sells for 2300 and the components sell for a total of 2350.
- Aerial shoes bugged in chapter 8. when i was synthesizing the recipe in ch.8 it consumed all my 24 lesser magic balls (used one for the recipe) after which the aerial shoes appeared on my character with 23 'charges' (which didn't do anything when i clicked on the aerial shoes icon of course).
- some bosses (Tazefda and main boss in ch. 8 and Widger Queen in ch. 1) drop their steal-able items when they die even if you didn't manage to steal it from them.
- 27 flowers possible to collect in ch. 5 (someone already posted 26/25)
- Restoration potion option doesn't appear for Fradz in potion menu (really bad in a clutch situation; you have to use a potion for either Galeoth or Phodom and then it appears).
- Jade set's 20% magic dmg increase doesn't appear to work (drop it and pick it up and there's no affect on your magic dmg stats).

When u dig up glyph of ability in chapter 2 .. near the mountain teleport and u put it in your inventory. After that if u click it , its gonna vanish without giving you a skill point. Maybe this is intentional but i thought this was expected to work like those extra spells like volcanic fissure (which has no problems if you put them in ur invent and then click them)

Omega orb item (the 6 piece thing from chapter 3) has the same problem as Fradz lightning elemental summons.  It doesn't matter what the characters level is, the elemental always has the same (low and useless ;) ) stats.

uhm, i seem to have a bug that makes my spellbook completely blank. no skills are there, not even meditate or the others. any help here?

what version of warcraft 3 are you guys using?

I think most use the lastest(1.26 i think...) or 1.24e or something.

And just saying, your bug is freaking weird. In each chapter did it happen?

Hello guys! The time has finally come to update this buglist and translate to the new version with chapter 9 and all the good stuff :)

I've been away from TCO for quite a while, could anyone give me some quick pointers as to what has been going on, like anything I should know before starting the update and looking into this massive backlog of posts (177 in total now, pretty big thread!) to update all the new/fixed bugs?

Edit: Well... it looks like there has only been about one page of new bugs since I left! Not such a hard task after all then :)

I do have one more complaint though its already been mentioned: please for the love of god fix the chapter 4 epic boss in a simple patch update! i got to him within about 6-7 hours of gameplay (all chapters up to that point), and have had no luck beating him after 10 failed attempts. It wasn't quite as apparent to me before when playing with give-ups (better items = more magic dmg) or on extreme (more lives to recklessly throw away while chasing him like a lunatic) but killing him right now seems completely dependent on luck :/. His pattern is completely random and landing a single ground zero nuke on him is close to impossible.

Honestly he's making the entire **** no give-up playthrough hopeless, i even went so far as to buy the beserk CK in hopes of getting the dmg bug :P and the one time i actually need it, it doesn't work.

My current suggestion is to simply remove the time limit until his pattern can be stabilized and a strategy formed around it.

I TOTALLY agree with that, and had a long discussion with Aero about it, hopefully it'll be fixed soon. You should see my **** no give-up video run, it was a serious pain in the nether regions to beat that guy. Serious pain.

Ditto. Same thing happened to me; however it occurred after i loaded a saved game in chapter 8 (luckily this is after i had already done everything). I still have the save game and.....wow these save files are pretty big! (i was going to offer to upload it until i saw the file size)

Other stuff:
* Found that mini game in Chapter 7 (thanks Pourquoi!) which gives a greater magic ball as a reward. I solved it on a complete fluke however (the chap standing there says impressive and drops the GMB on the ground thereafter).
* In chapter 7 when you're doing the gladiator battles, if Phodom took fiery soul as his first skill and you killed a gladiator with it, in the next battle the demon that arises from the fiery soul will be in the gladiator but sort invulnerable.
this is only really annoying when you have azures set or any of its components equipped because the heals from it may affect your hero or the demon (it should only affect the hero since technically, he's the only supposed to be in the arena!).
* Staff of miraga (the item you buy in Ch. 1) which allows you to gain 6 permanent int in every chapter) has some issues with it. it does not appear to gain any int in the later chapters no matter how many creeps i kill. Archeon's hood (6 perm agl every chapter from Ch. 2) works fine, i haven't tested Maragath?s Belt yet since i mistakenly completed the set in my last playthrough. In chapter 4, i had to creep with phodom for almost an hour in the caves to get the 6 permanent intel (Maragath?s set on the other hand, maxed out in just a few minutes).

General Observation:
* Don't know if this is a bug or not but, someone please tell me the prospective rewards for the tower minigame in Chapter 7. i haven't finished it but on one occasion i last for 3 minutes (out of 5) and my reward after i lost was a complete battlemage set! (sell value 1700) :D

If Maragath's Set works, then Maragath's Belt should work too. Aero places these two items in the exact same spot in the triggers.

1 round: Health Potion or Mana Potion
2 round: Health Potion
3 rounds: Battlemage Gloves or Battlemage Set

hi!
health is important in this game
so i played quick to  chp4 and did give-up
 ch1. extreme or ****.<= this is my situation.
 andenaj (+50)  doesn't work ( with Jewel of Health ,+25)
at first try, i have 75 up!!! but next time, just 25 up.
after restart games several times,sometimes 75up, or 25 up..
what a mess ...
this problem keep me from playing anymore. my real morality is too low now
ps. anyway what is morality in the game??

Hello! I've got some problems during Campaign:
1) In Ch.7 in the auction hall I won auction for an item that is needed for damned set - but it was not transfered to me - instead it kept in Auctionist's inventory in the slot 7 (as on NumPad), and next items for auctions were appearing in slot 8.
2) In Ch.8 (from the start) my F1 F2 F3 F4 was unclickable - spells, potions, etc couldn't be opened, and nothing changed after restarting the mission. AND! Phodom had got no ultimate spell and no new ultimate spell levels were available after reaching a new level or after using Ability potion.
And it is a mistake in Orichalon recipe (dunno if it was already pointed out before) -
in recipe it is said:
For Orichalcon you need -
 Night and Day + Orb of magic (or magic orb - idont' remember) + Ring of Great Rejuvenate + Lesser Magic Ball + Sapphire + Recipe itself
BUT the REAL Orichalcon can be created only with a Tempest Stone instead of Orb of Magic.

oops. my english sucks.. man.. you can understand.
anyway..about andenaj..and ETC

1.Jewel of Health+andenaj+andenaj2 works well in case of levelling by quest,or exp potion.

2.Chp7. Tower puzzle.  battle mage set unlimited.(good bug?)
but the puzzle is unclearable...(too many annimals pop up. stage go crazy, like 1->4)
by the way, i deleted all save files except one and campaigns file.
then, tower puzzle go nomal. so i  could clear that.( i felt mystery about that)

3.I advenced to Ch8 ,
I had save(keeping only one save file) and reload game.
my all CK go down 1 as many people say. but this time,  Jewel of Health+andenaj+andenaj2  works well by hunting!!.....so, i restarted Ch8 by selecting Chapter selection phase.(because this prevents CK missing). and now..
The damn  andenaj dosen't work again.......

4. through this stuation, i have doubt.
"some bug and problem  are possibly  related with save/load mechanism ??"
i hope this could be a help finding out where is problem.

Hi! Okay, so I'm pretty sure these bugs weren't mentioned. (I did read through all the bugs, but maybe I missed these.) The first bug i found was in the Chapter One Elite Boss. He appears to channel a spell, much like his stampede spell. However, the spell does nothing, and Phodom is free to heal for about thirty seconds. The second bug is that the Books menu does not seem to work when I meet up with Fradz. I click on it and nothing happens. A crucial bug I found was in Chapter Seven, at the Auction Hall. I was able to spam escape and ask for help. After spamming it, I lost an item because the auction master sold his first item off, but the item in the second slot stayed. After awhile, he said that he would take a break, and dropped all the items he had held. Although I couldn't get the Second Part of Holgro or the Gilmax, I got the Chaos Sanctuary spell, the Damned set item, the components of the Ring, the Divine set item, and the True Zozi just by spamming escape and asking for help. However, after the Auction Hall Master exhausted his stores of items, he just sold the Lucky Horseshoe and non-existent item called !.
