Hi, i just restarted the campaign (using -give up) on Hard-Difficulty. Everything seemed fine, but when Phodom slew a Wuzz-Warrior (to the east of his farm) he immediatly reached level 10 (he was lvl 3 before).
He was not the fist Wuzz-Warrior I killed, so it seems to be a problem of this special npc.

PS: A second tingle, when you restart the campaign, the vitality drops down to 10 (while you choose your skills and difficulty). However when you start with Phodom, the vitality is saved (so still 10). If you don't eat almost all of your food immediately, phodom starves at his own farm :D (Not sure if this is a bug, or inteded, but I thought it's worth mentioning.

TTH, both happened to me too. But in my case phodom was at lvl 1 then at lvl 4, but surely he's lvling up a lot with a single kill.
The vitality problem is probably just that Aero forgot to put 100 in the initial vitality (because it changed from 10 to 100)

Well, here are some:

- Behemoth Mini-Boss does not seem to be killable (or maybe it is but I could not figure out how to do it)
- Medal of Power does not show up when completing the quest with the crystal golems
- When you walk the the wall in Rot Afor towards the digging spot (the one south on the wall) a short cinematic shows up with no content whatsoever and afterwards the heroes are not moveable any more
- second Digging spot in the ruins of Rot Afor is bugged ("You did not find anything")
-aerial shield recipe is gone
- espers don't work
- combat kings replace abilities when saving (the only way to get your abilities is to delete ck)

Hopefully I don't blame myself, but i think that the Boss Slurgal in Chaptor 4 is bugged in 1.7.

When he casts his spell, that renders him invulnerable and summons three Slurgal-Childs, he never becomes attackable again. (So either i don't get how to fight him or he is bugged)

I know Aero made some great/drastic changes in some "places" in the campaign, but i really didn't understand some bugs outside chapter 8 (like the xp bug or this slurgal bug).

1.7 seems to bug really badly. I think Aero will need to release a bug fix patch ASAP.

Yeah, I kind of agree. Aero released the 1.7 to early(ok,ok, he was really late, but to release a awesome game it takes a lot of time), so of course some(or a lot of) bugs escaped from his eyes(or the testers eyes).

The second digging spot on the rampart of Rot Afor is also bugged ("You did not find anything")
plus: the digging bonuses for digging certain numbers of items up do not work (novice/mediocre/expert bonuses)

Bugs
-The Combat Skill cannot be seen anymore...
-In the 3rd chapter 1 Flower cannot be found
-Same Problem with 2 Flowers in Level 4
-Level 4 Boss Bugged
-If you use Honor points to upgrade your SpellBook ability, when you change chapter they are the same as they were before but you don't get back the Honor Points
-The Black Merchant in chapter 4 tells you that he'll give you the Mana Belt but in the end he gives only a Power orb (I'm not sure about the name)....
-The medallion dropped by the Dragon Spirit in Chapter 4 increase the Vitality only by 1
-The starting vitality should be increased (like the others said)
-The avenger Phodon start with the Berseker ability or at least is was the prelude says....(see above)
-The murlock in the cave in chapter 1 spawn endless even after boss' deafeat (Idon't know if it's intended)

Balance
-I think that the components for Zozi are far too expensive and difficult to make. This way we could make only 1 Ultimate item (or maybe 2 if we don't give the magic spheres to the priest in chapter 5). The idea to amek the Legendary Items more difficult to make is good but this is far to much (I think)
- I think that a recipe that fuse some medallion would be quite great. They are quite usefull but they get a lot of inventary space
-With the morality thing you could make some quest that are avalible only if you have a certain degree of morality or immorality (like evil or good alignment quests)
-Some more Mage-related items (The Rune Cloack seems good but I couldn't try it directly since I'm stuck on Chapter 4 ....) and Combat Skills (I'm trying to think something if some new ideas are need, and of course if you want them XDXD)

If I'll fins something new I'll let you know

Even if there are those little "issues" I want to prize you for your hard work: this is still the best and most well made W3 Campaign that I ever played

Totally agree with artemisius. 3 Greater Magic Balls are far to much. 1 Greater Magic Ball would totally suffice. Remember that you need to give some greater magic balls to complete quests.

More Bugs in chapter 8:

- Spell book does not work.
- The ice monster can only be killed if you remove its mana, which is ridiculously hard as it does not loose mana when casting a spell, regenerates mana with a certain spell and the possibilities to drain its mana are few (some ck (removed), omega gloves, magical hammer - still takes unappropriately long)
- Alchmist levels, flowers and flasks are gone

I have found something new:
-In chapter 5 the Phodon's Single Ability is gone like I never bought it in the first place
- The recipe for Emerald Javelin is gone like the one for the aero shield (maybe since there are new recipes a new recipes shop could help)

Guys, write that "Remove CK" to get your abilities back. It is the only way to get the abilities back and it means you'll lose your combat kings. I never found how to fix this bug so I made it like this.

He loses 3% mana per second so it should be possible to defeat even with not-so-good items.

It was not when I was battling him the second time. It then took really long to bring him down.

Okay thanks for the information but I think all those bugs you've given possible are not bugs. The saving and loading just got screwed somehow. It might be you or there is really bug which I doubt because for others this have worked so far. Or am I wrong?

Might be. Do you think it might work, if I replay chapter 7 again?
Another thing was the behemoth: It did not work for me to solve Gate quest and then talk to the guys south of the boss. It did not appear. Maybe I have to restart, what do you think?

Hmm. It was activated after you've either beaten the boss or just talked with them at the very south.

Hi i got i bug or a problem. the problem is like when i drink potion of strenght it doesnt grow up my strenght and it appear to me a flower called potion of strength dummy and i cant use it can you tell me what to do and btw tell me if you want a pic

Originally, I have 422 gold. Selling Lucky Clover should give me 225 gold and the total gold I have should be 647.

When i sell it, it show +225 in the screen, but total gold is only 467, which increase only 45 gold.

I found this problem in version 1.7b and now I try with 1.7d but still get the same problem... I try with different item and different shop , but the gold return is very different with the selling price label in the item.

The magma cloack recipe still doesn't work
In chapter one the carovan guy doesn't give you anymore the streght potion recipe

To answer the Aero's question about the Spell Book yes it' reset the ability. If yo go to the merchant he displays again the choice between the 2 types of upgrade.

For my case, it is happen in chapter 1. I had done everything without any no problem but cant pick up the Magic Orb.

And i cant find Fire Stone, is it removed?

New members shouldn't focus completely on this thread. There is still a whole forum out there to explore, not just this bug thread. You can introduce yourself, talk about different things in the Off-Topic board or suggest new things to the creator himself. Be more active bros!

Fire Stone is removed temporarily, in the next version it can be found from chapter 6. You can get Way of Power instead.

And I believe I just fixed  the crash bug.

Today I do some items and fix chapter 7. Tomorrow morning I'll do next version with some more fixes so try to give many bugs as you can before that.

Tomorrow I'll go to a trip for three days so I won't do the campaign at this time.

Like what items?

Some Legendary Items. If I'm not mistaken one of them was Sargatanas and another item of the same merchant. All the items that already had 5 componets + recipes in the previous version, since you add the Zozi thing, have now this problem.

I was thinking: Aero said that he made some ultimate set that only a certain character could wear. Why don't you put in the recipe the starting item (the one that you pick at the start of the game). I don't suggest of course to remade it completealy but you could add an effect that changes according to the starting item merged. This way we could make those starting items usefull again in late game like they were in early-game.

I have a new bug,when you play chapter 8,one of the skill in the bottom screen becomes the combat king,so basically i cant use that skill(I have all combat kings,maybe that causes the problem???)

Chapter VII, when I got Maximillian mission, I click on any hero to control or to see some of the NPC items, but I can only control a very short time, it should be a second or less.(I am not sure this bug has been reported or not)

Some bugs I found:

- Strength attribute description does not correspond to latest changes (says 25 health per 1 strength)

- Jewel of Health is not working. Description says: Additionally increases max health by 25 per level up. In chapter 1 Phodom had this item in inventory, leveled up and received only 40 max health coming from +2 Strength. (This bug may affect Andenaj I, II, III as well)

- Black merchant in Chapter six sells Ancient Sword from removed Excalibur set

- Mysterious Potion Shop in Chapter 6 sells Mana Ball with "=== Chapter 2 Elite boss ===" description

- There are two items with same name: Orb of Nature. One can be found in Chater 4 and other is recipe. This recipe consists mostly of former animal set items. I made this recipe with following result: newly created item had Animal set name and Topaz mentioned in recipe stayed in my inventory after fusion. Furthermore, this item description says "Every third second you get 1 charge" - charges are not visible (I expected small number on the item showing current charges count). "When there is 60 charges, can activate ..." I suggest to make this item with 180 second cooldown with classic "ala clock cooldown animation", why complicate it with some charges. Upon activation I'm supposed to choose 1 of 3 possible bonuses, I don't get any dialog window nor any bonus. After another click items says "Spell is not ready yet"

- Whip of nature with (Banned) in description found twice (I think it is from former Holy Stump recipe)

- Dig power somehow bugged, not sure where. Maybe it is score board (dig power number does not increase after using Showels) or Game Progress is ok and Showels are bugged

- Page 1 of Game Progress culumn 2 misses description for first line, according of value I think something like "Current chatper"

It seems I'm not able to create now thread and because I think it belongs to this section (Bugs, Help & Suggestions), I post it here - please don't stone me for that.

Maybe it is bug, maybe it is intended, but neither miss or critical damage "Info messages" are show. What I mean is, that many items increase critical damage and evansion chance, but I can't see any critical hits (damn, how I love to see those high red numbers :D) or creeps and other mobs to miss my characters.

Maybe - I haven't tested (or better say was unable to test it) this numbers and misses would show if I turn on showing Dealt damage and Received damage. But there are so many ways for dealing damage (direct attack, skills (like Phodom fire aura), items (like Magic orb)) that when you turn it on, there is complete mess and you actually can't even read those numbers. Just assuming that mob miss would show as 0 damage received.

And I also have some related question on mechanics:
- how does evansion from different items stack
- how does evansion from items stack with parry combat king (haven't seen "red miss" from this as well)
- how high is chance to score critical hit (many items add +% to critical damage)

Chapter 1 - Hard difficulty with give up
Saved 5 honor points from previous game.

Bought 1 Siphon Life and 1 Resurrection

After playing for 5 minutes, I realise I wasn't life-stealing and so I checked if I had any combat kings and it (the icon) didn't show on the panel.

I thought it was just icons not showing so I attacked an enemy to see if the life-stealing buff/animation was showing and it didn't.

So not only is combat king not showing on my character, but it's not working (as if I didn't have any in the first place)

Well, it is merely impossible to check about every Combat King but I had the impression that despite the combat kings not showing in the respective panel at least some of them seem to work, like Ressurection for example.

Bugs (possibly) in chapter 5
- Digging spot on Troll hill features trinket of kindness again
- Reward for elite quest is a second windy staff (it was also stealable from said boss)
- Recipe for Shield of nature does not work

Chapter 6:
- The Zyl Orb can't be stored in boxes, as it requires 150 stats to be carried
- I'm not sure if this is a bug, but once the Zyl Orb is carried, the stats bonus and reduction are permanently, even if the Orb was laid down
- All enemies are categorized as mighty
- Magma cloak has not got the +20 strength bonus in the description and does not give the fire aura that burns enemies
- potion on mana from the nightmare minigame does not vanish when completing the staff and can be used infinitely to gain all possible amounts of mana

Chapter 7:
- Maximilian quest bugged: after the cinematic with Galvork has ended, you can't click the characters anymore - game unplayable

Hey guys.

I'll try this weekend to release another minor version with bug fixes and complete rest of the items.

I was thinking: Aero said that he made some ultimate set that only a certain character could wear. Why don't you put in the recipe the starting item (the one that you pick at the start of the game). I don't suggest of course to remade it completealy but you could add an effect that changes according to the starting item merged. This way we could make those starting items usefull again in late game like they were in early-game.

Rune Cloak works like that.

Hello,

the Andenaj III synthesis item does not work. When you have all the components in your inventory the item does "react" but you still have the Andenaj II in your inventory (plus the recipe)

EDIT: Aero, as I started the campaign over with a new game I thought the saving/ loading should not bug and I reached chapter 8 and experienced the same problems which I witnessed beforehand:
- Espers would not work
- Alchemist multiboard is reseted to zero
- Novice/ Mediocre and Expert bonuses do not work.
- spell book is empty
So I think this is really a bug. Has anyone experienced the same problems?

When you decice to skip the cinematic with the Death Knights attack they all remain visible

Where you found?

I found them in chapter 4 in their regular places - 1 found in some dig spot (I don't remember which one) and second was stolen from Slurgal

I know that shovels work only once, all I wanted to say is that when I calculated your my power according to my strength, shovels used and successful digging bonuses I did't get the number shown on Score board. I'll check this in next version and some more tests

Just assuming that mob miss would show as 0 damage received.

What do you suggest then?

If possible, display miss and critical damage info messages even if showing of dealt damage and received damage is turned off

Okay, after (re)playing the campaign a little i noticed some annoying things...yeah, BUGS.
Well, most bugs were already said i just want to add somethings.

1. As already said, there's a problem when you sell items, the gold you get is far less than the prices shown in their descriptions, and I'm REALLY mad about this.
2. The Instant Slash skill should be fixed, right? Well, it isn't...
3. Way of speed gives strenght, smth between the double and the triple (it should give double agility)

I may edit this post if i find something else(or do another post)

Well, the Ice Monster in chapter 8 stays alive sometimes even if its health and mana is reduced to 0

Hello. Very nice campaign, but I have a few bugs that I noticed and were annoying. I was playing in normal using the latest version.
1) Gold: When selling items you do not receive back the amount of gold that it says in the description or in the yellow number that appears when selling. You receive considerably less and sometimes even 0, like when selling the Zyl orb in ch. 7. This is the most important bug that I found outside of ch.8
2) When digging it sometimes says you found, for example annihilation orb and it was, in fact, a zyl orb. This one is not so important
3) In ch. 4, the whip of nature that can be obtained (twice I believe) says BANNED in the description, not sure why
4) The spells and abilities of the heroes shift places constantly, sometimes disappearing completely in favor of some random combat king. Sometimes deselecting and selecting the character again will fix this, but on ch. 8 I just had all my buttons with combat kings.I wonder if you could fix this by moving the CK to the multi board and removing the icons altogether.
5) In ch.8 I lost some achievements from the digging profession (the ones that had to do with digging successfully x items) and hence was unable to dig anything. The same happened with alchemy.
6) The items way of speed, etc all seem to give a bonus to strength and nothing else, contradicting their description.
7) At times I would try to steal something repeatedly and fail, to notice that when the boss died both items dropped normally.
8) Ch. 5, Tallon drops the same item that you can steal from him, so it appears duplicated.
9) Some bosses take ridiculously long to take down while not being particularly killy, so you can have a not so exciting 30min battle. Examples: Talloon and ch.7 necromancer accessible through the portal. this is not so much a bug, but an annoyance.
10) On ch. 7 I had my vitality stuck at 110 for a long time. I achieved that when I was at vitality 0 and ate my way up to 110. It then stayed there until it suddenly decided to work again.
11) On ch. 5, after completing the golem quest I received a potion that was supposed to increase my attack damage by 100 and it did only increase it by 50.
12) On ch. 1 when drinking a potion of strength it sometimes generated a "potion of strength dummy" and did not work, is this intended?
13) The zyl orb cannot be stored in boxes, as it requires 15 stats to be carried.
14) Parts of the Phodom set can only be stored in Phodom's boxes. Maybe this is intended.

Hello,

this is not so much a bug but rather a suggestion:
How about adding a gem seller to chapter 8?  There are two Zozis which can be obtained and it would be great if we could use them for synthesis items
And I don't know if this is intended, but chapter 8 does not seem to feature a Lucky box

Thanks guys for the bugs I just fixed a lot of bugs. Soon next version with a lot of fixes.

Actually crit & eva was bugging all the time.  ;D

Now it's fixed. Oh, and I just saw Fradz doing 7,777 critical hit.

The problem with the stealing and the boss happened to me with the northeastern one on ch. 6, whose special attack is impaling. Not sure if I did something strange, since I tried to steal a lot of times. Also, I don't know if this is intended but after the death of the boss the impaling attack didn't stop all over that area. Thankfully Phodom could take it and retrieve all the items.
Another thing that happened to me in that the southern boss, same chapter, the one that looks similar to Maiev and whose special move is red lightning all over the place. Well, she got stuck in the northern corridor unable to move. She looked like she was on top of the wall, but could still be hit in combat. She easily fell without her special move.

Bug found. In ch. 5, when I give the greater magic ball to the NPC that requests one, Phodom goes to level 10 (was level 20) and Fradz loses the experience that he had in level 20, going back to level 20 without a purple bar. It didn't happen to me in previous versions (I'm using the just released one)
Edit: Phodom doesn't level up at all. The purple bar goes up, but when it reaches the full amount, the animation and sound play, but Phodom is still level 10, he doesn't get to pick spells and he doesn't get a stats increase. That renders the game difficult to play.

OK, I just downloaded the new version 1.7f and tried chapters 7 and 8, discovering the following BUGS

1. Selling bug is NOT FIXED. (Unless it requires a new game to take effect)
2. Starting Maximilian Quest still breaks something with your gameplay.(You cannot select a unit for more than 1 ms)
3. Gem Seller in Chapter 8 belongs to Player.
4. Recipe for Crown of Magic still doesn't work. (Haven't tested any other until now)
5. In Chapter 8 Combat Kings overwrote Abilities again. When i typed in Remove ck, fradz fell on lvl 20, Phodom on lvl 10 and they couldn't level up again. (Similar to the problem reported above)
6. Invisible Strike still does not inflict any bonus damage.
7. Aerial Shield Recipe is missing.

Well that's it for now.

EDIT: I reached chapters 7 and 8 on Version 1.6f if that is of any importance.

It's probably a big problem try to use a old version(it really looks like some(and probably, most) bugs only happen with people that used a old load).
1.6f? What the hell, what do you mean by reached chapter 7 and 8 in 1.6f if there wasn't chapter 8 in that version?Do you mean finished chapter 7, right?

Naturally I mean I finished chapter 7. So my hero saves for chapter 8 are the ones from version 1.6f. Anyway I will restart the campaign and check if it works out better. (Was just hoping for the selling bug to disappear, because it will cost me lots of my hard earned gold :) )

I've just played in the version 1.7f. I used giving up from 1.7a to try out the new version. I found some bugs (or I think so):

1. In chapter 1, I got the Mega Ring from sparing the epic boss's life, and then I finish the chapter so I didn't use this item until chapter 4. In chapter 4, my Phodom was 22, as 2 levels over the cap by using the Mega Ring. And when I got to chapter 5, the moment Phodom levels up, I keep the Mega Ring in the inventory and he's kicked back to level 10 without any spells. I reload the chapter and this time I kept the Mega Ring in the box and I can level Phodom as normal. In the later stage of chapter 5, I upgraded the ring into Giga Ring and got level 34 Fradz and moved to the chapter 6. This time, I tried to level up, and Fradz's kicked back to lv 20 with all spells, Phodom's lv 10 without any spells in both conditions with and without the Giga Ring.

2. In chapter 1, I found 26/25 flowers but only 9/10 digspots. Maybe I missed it somewhere :(

3. In chapter 3, I bought a new item for Galeoth. It's about increasing dmg based on max mana. And wow, after that my Galeoth can do about 2000+ critical dmg x_x Bonus dmg was boosted about 1000.

4. In chapter 4, it appears to be hard to steal items since Phodom steal chance is just around 40%~54%.

5. The Orb of Nature's synthesis requires Topaz, but I synthesized it without Topaz because I misread it. I just thought it the old Animal Set so I kept the 4 components of that old set and after synthesis, the Turtle's Shell was left.

6. In chapter 5, to achieve the Elexorien I, Fradz must die twice. But I kept the Holy Seal in Fradz's inventory and spam click on Tharo. The amount of time between 2 Fradz's death just about 1 minute but I didn't lose any lives.

And can you make Zozi cost 2 Greater Magic Balls instead of 3 ones? x_x Finally, thanks for your hardworking. I find this is the best custom campaign I've ever played.

Chapter 8 Saving/ Loading bug still persists:
- alchemist multiboard reseted to zero
- Digging bonuses (Novice/ mediore/ expert bonuses) do not work
- espers do not work

The combat king bug has worsened: When in previous versions it happened only when saving/ loading it now happens during fights also.
During the fight with Shazular all my abilities suddenly vanished (except the innate ability Sword Dance)

It seems like this new experience system is still bugging. I tested it and it worked but somehow it makes things still bug. I'll check out this. And yes, you can buy many Zozi you want in chapter 9. Finally then you can make your characters so imba, but the bosses are though too there... Yurgimar, Yurgimar, Yurgimar!!

It's impossible to fix this problem without using the code I mentioned about removing the combat kings. You have to use it to reset the combat kings. I really couldn't find a better way to fix this.

The spell book spells also vanished after playing a while chapter 8 (They were there in the beginning).
You must tell me after what. I removed the spells for some boss fights, like when Fradz is in that quest killing the icy demon from the gate all spells except lightning spells are removed temporarily.

OK, I just tried something: I created a new Profile, started the campaign new from the scratch, (no give up) und bambam in Chapter 1 I couldn't sell anything for the correct gold values. So I guess the bug persists through all chapters.....

I think the cinematic is not ended correctly. After the cinematic, I cannot select anything. I mean I can select it, as soon as I select it, it gets unselected immediately. So its impossible to select something for more than a millisecond.

The removal of the other abilities was related to the reseting of the hero to level 20, where he stayed then.

Few annoying bugs:

1) Stealing in Chapter 4. Can't steal anything. You get around 48% steal chance (even with Widger Queen's Ring + max possible amount of agility pots and gear) Also don't know about the math around steal chance, but should Widger Queen's Ring give me only like 2-3 % increase?

2) Well the dreaded Exp bug

3) Galeoth with increased atack range and stun perk. Damage vaules dosen't show up on character screen. Sometimes he reacts by going towards the target not atacking it.

Phodom takes lvl 10 and after do not leveling. Always 10 lvl... (chapter 1 and chapter 4).

You are the one who lock this board. The board I asked you to lock is the Help Me not this one. And it isn't such a big deal making additional topics for minor versions. After you unlock this ppl will start doing so by themselves. But be warned, they will create topics other than Masterthreads.
