Cryptic Forum Activities
« on: March 17, 2013, 01:20:52 am »
Okay recently I noticed a few strange things happening around the forum. I am not really sure if these are coincidences or bugs yet though. Anyways here are some of the things I have experienced so far:
  • A whole topic of mine suddenly disappear while I was modifying it. I reconstructed it afterwards.
  • Some posts disappear for no apparent reason. And no they are not deleted by the owner, they weren't even online at the time.

I will be updating this thread and I recommend that any members who encounter strange things like me to do the same.

I am referring to serious, purposeful posts, not spam and the like.

Yes i just noticed the same with my most recent post in the 1.9 bug masterthread. I first assumed it was moved to some other part of the forum but apparently its been deleted. it was about a page long (i certainly hope it wasn't considered spam)!

Maybe because of this **** new server. I heard they're gonna fix the problems but since we changed the server there have been so many problems.

but i beg to differ that its the powerabusing moderators behind this

belief in direct democracy would stop these dark agencies right at the source

There is only one global moderator on this site. As far as I am aware I am not that crazy to delete my own posts just for the heck of it.

The two admins weren't online at that time either so I beg to differ that your theory is wrong.

What I mean was deleting posts that I spent half an hour writing :P

Anyway let's just observe for some more time.

Direct democracy does not work on the net, 'nuff said.

SMF does not allow such a privilege to be exclusive to the admins. Either everyone, or no one. And I'm not aware if Aero or Xarwin had turned that function on without me knowing.
Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.
