The trap goes like this: Someone jokingly says something negative about you. You pretend to take it seriously and dramatically response. Then the other person will often feel terrified and try to explain the situation. That's when you pull the line I used above. Basically a counter method of joking.

I think you forgot 'one spell-maker' ;D

Duh, I was thinking if I had forgotten some titles... Edited.

But the point remains the same; There's only one guy per one title, to which I have a question - Why?

I love drama, but in here I don't like to fight and argue. Also I got the campaign to finish.

Where is drama?

EDIT: And anyway, you guys speak like you're some kind of elitist calling others fan boys. I wonder if this gives us a bad image to new users. I fear that now they will come and post to the forums even less. Don't be elitist, please.

Well, i think it's almost impossible to not be a fanboy when you first log in the forum(well, a fanboy or a stalker), the problem is not to be a fanboy, the problem is never change this situation.
I was thinking, is "fanboy" really that offensive  ???? They are(probably) boys, and are fanatic for the campaign, so this is pretty much a very acceptable title, and if they feel offended for smth like this, i doubt they would last for long here...

I think only certain 'sensitive' people will be offended by that title. And they aren't fanatic but more like 'seasonal', when a new version is out they come in masses then a while later they are all gone.

But after heavy consideration, I don't find any problem with being an 'elitist'. Like FE/Flecky said there are over 9000 fanboys out there. Unless one of them actually do something that deserves recognition, they are still strangers to me. I know that Aero wants everyone to co-operate peacefully and stuffs, but we aren't elitists from the start. Active members here have tried many times but zero success is achieved. They can't be changed and therefore to us, they are, and always will be, fanboys.

Put your words where your heart is; Pleasing the fanboys won't change anything. And after all, this is not our domain, so it's up to you to make the radical changes.

I fear that now they will come and post to the forums even less. Don't be elitist, please.

Oh no, less posts begging for help, shame on us.

Don't be so negative. See the new people as a positive thing, it doesn't matter what they post.

I personally hate communities that are elitist. For example wc3campaign is full of elitist people, that's why I've always prefered Hive.

Okay, so don't call them fanboys, I don't like them to be called like that.

You should probably think again who's got the "power" within their group here - It's obviously you and the fanboys. The Help and Bug Masterthreads well dominate everything else, especially competitions. So how could we others ever be "elitists" when we have so little control?

Okay, so don't call them fanboys, I don't like them to be called like that.

So you've got the full rights to call us "elitists" but we're absolutely forbidden to call them fanboys? How equal is that?

IMO I have nothing vs fanboys , they can change.Everyone was a fanboy when he etered the forum. But srsly some ppl are either trolling or just plain dumb.

If you can point out any positive thing they ever post, I will respect them and never call them 'fanboys' again. Else if you are writing that line I quoted just to please the fanboys, then I can foresee that this forum will crash down one day when all the active members have left.

You know Black, I used to have the same illusion. But now I realized everything, they can't be changed. My letter proved that they are indifferent to my plead no matter how desperate it is.

There can only be exceptions: those who decide to throw away the fanboy title and join us here. Shinokyofu is one such prominent example.

I'm not contradicting myself when I said that the fanboys can't be changed. They truly can't be changed. But there are, and will be, exceptions like Shino. He doesn't even hold the 'fanboy' title for too long. He abandoned it very early and I truly appreciate that.

I don't hate them. Did I ever openly state that I hate them? It is just that they are only strangers to me rather than my 'friends'.
