Searching for a correct song
« on: April 13, 2012, 10:32:42 am »
Hey.

I'm searching for a correct song for the coming campaign screen. It should be calm, but also can be little sad or mysterious. Just check the the campaign screen I've attached. Then come up with some suggestion what song should be in there.

The song shouldn't be too popular.

Thank you.

I usually don't hang in chat, so if you want, for some weird reason, communicate with me, send me a pm :)

My favorite character is
Phodom, Fradz is insane. And... Galeoth

I think this song is too mild and boring.

The song should have a stronger feeling in it. A stronger melody or something. This just isn't good enough even if it fits.  :(

Requiem of a dream is simply too popular and overhead already.

God of war was bad.

Naruto was something but I didn't like the choir.

Saw didn't fit.

Terminator had melodies that I didn't feel fit.

So I'm still searching for something. I attached my own 2x entries + 2x youtube.

Aero have you saw the "favorite song"? maybe there's something that fits with your description(that i haven't understood) and no i hadn't posted anything that i think it would fit.

BUT i'll post something now, i still don't know what exactly you want, but i have a idea. Still, i don't know why you post songs Aero, if you've liked just put them, i personally liked the first one. But i've liked most of the songs that Black's put...

A epic one

A calm one

A sad/mysterious one/yet a little epic

A...mysterious one

Yeah, i really think there's a plenty of legend of zelda songs that would fit(i wanted to put, like, ten more)...
I personally liked the 3rd one the most.

What about this one?
Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

Beethoven isn't mysterious or sad enough, it's all about piano which is definitely not enough.

That midi was ok, but not good enough. Also wc3 cannot handle midis.

Aaaand... I didn't like any of shino suggestions too.  >:(

I have hard time finding myself too.

Greetings,

This is the "Thread of Ultimate Rejection"; You might just as well apply more easily for a job rather than find a fitting song for the campaign screen. But whoever it is that does find it is a balancing power to this endless search for a song...

Aero, just a suggestion, try to be more clear...like your choice of words is understandable, but i think you aren't being clear about what YOU want. I really think at least some of the songs already posted fit with your description like, some that Black posted and Chimto's one(really liked).
The songs have to be good, but they don't have to be awesome, they just need to fit your description right(or wrong)? So please try to be more clear(and a little more sensitive about how you can hurt my feelings with the use of a angry emoticon ... :'()
