The Chosen Ones

I actually had 3 different games with their boss fights available for nomination, but then I chose to go with the most classic one: Diablo 2

Boss: Duriel (Act 2 ending boss)
Difficulty: Hell (on a classic scale [easy - normal - hard - insane] it would be hard)

Well basically, there wasn't that many tactics, it's just that Duriel moves incredibly fast, slows you down with frost aura, at times striking you with stunning charge attacks. Because Duriel was basically immune to cold in Hell difficulty (slowing him down would've helped a lot), I had to go with lightning spells instead with my sorceress.

So how did it progress? Enter the chamber > cast as many lightnings as possible until mercenary dies > run around throwing lightning at him until low health > portal back to town > refill health, mana and revive mercenary > repeat from start until Duriel dies.

In the end (after horrible mercenary-revival costs and tens of portals) I did get the edge over him and won. Act 3 was on the horizon.

Now 2 answer my own question.
The hardest boss fight I went to was at a game called God of War 2.I finished the game in all dificulties , and the hardest boss fight(IMO) was not the last one.

It was the Euryale Gorgon boss fight , on the dificulty verry hard or Titan.

Why was it hard?Well at the begaining that gorgon was just punching you , if she got a complete combo of 3 punches(on my dificulty) , you were completely dead.+ she always fires a deadly ray that turns you into stone.You can escape if you move very quick , if not , just one strike and your dead.After you weaken her a bit , she jumps on a wall and she starts shooting rays from there , if you are turned to stone , she eighter jumps on you(she's kind of a fat naga lady O_o) or she hits you with her tail.After you destroy the walls , she gets super raged , and keeps punching the grond till she gets to you.After you weaken her , you have to cut her head(You must hold a button).

To beat her , you have to reflect 50% of her rays(the reflection should turn her into stone , buts since she's a boss :-j).The best way to weaken her.(after you reflect , you thrust her back into a wall , you gain some HP and MP for that.Ofc you must also hit her with all you got.In gow2 you are a white warrior with two rejectable daggers , and a bigass hammer if you beat one boss )

No , at least , not on that difficulty.I did menage to get to the end , and started choping her head off >.But i was distracted by something and i missed.Then she gave me 2 hell of punches , and I died X_X.Oh well ...Even now I am trieing to defeat her.

That was a nice one, speaking of toughness - I liked it when he used the head to "stonify" the enemies afterwards.
