I'm just introducing myself and I got to say I really, really like this project and I would like to see it be completed.

 hello again.......I have been looking around in the forum and what I get the impression is that not every one stays with the project and new comers are just "fanboys"  ....yes I just liked this project and was surprised that a mod this old on a game that is also very old is still active and kicking it spiked my interest enough to do something so I made an account not knowing what i could do to help or why i would even want to help.

You say you want to know more about me, then okay I'm 17, male and have an interest in video games and have been very interested to make a game, I have studied a little how the game industry works and how projects are made, you could say I'm not the average gamer. I have looked at presentations...slide shows and read articles on game making and i find my self to be very interested about it, I like to read developer related new on sites like gamasutra  and i have come to know how (in little detail) how people make games.

It somehow lead me to want to make a game by my own, the current field I am studying in school has nothing to do with game making and i probably will change fields the next semester. For a looong time I have just been observing game making because i never thought i could bring anything worth wile to the discussion so i just observed and sucked in any knowledge about the field.

I feel like I have a generally good idea how things work but i dont know how to make anything my self

When i saw this mod I well..... saw an opportunity, you were looking for testers right? So i thought hey I could test(or at least bring something to the table even if its just ideas)..it was at reach and I thought it was a great starting point for me!
So here I am really really nervous and just laying this on the table for every one to see!!!
That's my story and I'm probably not alone in this kind of thinking, I want to make games but this is a good place as any to start!!!

Now i have a question how do you get notified about new replies in your own thread?

And how do you add a profile picture?

Flecky chill out! He's showing he cares enough to bother making a thread. It's not everyone who wants to give their life story out on the interwebz.

Right, not everyone wants to, and in such case, should you have nothing else to say except some small talk (hi, how are you?), it's better not to post at all... The only tiny piece of information you can withdraw from this introduction is that he (or she, see, we don't know that either) likes TCO, which is pretty obvious and the reason why we are here.

Don't be so nervous about everthing(you look kind of stressed), your excitement is good though.
Just calm down, we are all friends here...as you've seen, fanboys not included. Well, you'll sooner or later familiarize with everything about the forum, about the campaing and about us.

I would never call me an expert in game design...or you were being ironic which is great I just want to contribute something which for me is very hard to right now because school is starting and I cant go to the forums every day but if there is anything I can do then I will try help but so far I feel like I'm just an observer rather then an helper, you people seem to be doing fine with out me and I don't know what I can do to contribute but seeing this project so up close has given me a new found respect for the people who willingly give up there free time to help with this project 

Right now I'm more focused on school then this project but I will stay in touch and see it through even if I don't do as much I would like to!

A few periods for the sake of reading the post would be appreciated greatly.
