Well, here goes mine then. Mine is an armor piece, darkness themed of course. Here it is, since it is an armor it obviously needs some basic stats before the unique stats so....:
Item Name:
CorruptionBasic Stats:
Somewhere around
7 armorAnd around the area of
800 healthUnique Stat:
10% chance on hit to give +100 armor to the wielder, lasts 20 seconds, cooldown is 2 minutes.My assumption is at this point in the game, you're gonna have a lot of items to compete for this slot so the basic stats for me and for others would be important, just one unique stat doesn't always make the item, imo.
Now this doesn't seem very darkness themed....yet, here comes the other stat of the armor (not as unique now that there is power hammer and sword of haste items in the game, but oh well).
The more kills you get, the higher the % to get the +100 armor goes up. Basically, it gets charges. Every kill=0.02 or 0.05% or every 20-50=1%. The cap is 20% (25% if need be) from the basic 10%.I'm basing the % on how many kills Phodom can get per chapter. So if Phodom gets 100 kills per chapter, then obviously 0.05% is the best way to go, since you wanna be able to max this armor in at least 2 chapters. If he gets 200 kills per chapter, around 0.03 or 0.02 so maybe he can get it within 3 chapters or something. The idea is this item will get better as it progresses so it won't be something you'll trash quickly, that's my uniqueness in here.

http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/icons-541/btnravenblackarmor-170342/?prev=search%3DDark%2520armor%26d%3Dlist%26r%3D20The reason why it is dark? I have a story for that....(it's not good at all, and I'm using my limited knowledge of TCO to create it, but it's just to give you an idea):
During the time of the war against dragons there was this one dragon slayer who cornered a weakened emerald dragon on the verge of death (the ones that are very good at magic, I think those were the emerald ones in TCO). Before the emerald dragon was about to cast a strong healing spell on itself, the dragon slayer was about to kill the dragon, the dragon quickly noticed this and stopped him. The dragon, being much smarter than the dragon slayer, tried to make a bargain agreeable to him. He bargained with the dragon slayer saying that if he could keep his life, he would enchant his armor to amazing points which he could never achieve. The dragon slayer thought about it, and figured he'd wait until he enchanted the armor and then kill him and get both the glory and the reward. Once he agreed, the dragon used its great magical powers to greatly enchant this armor. With that the dragon slayer pretended to leave but instead quickly turned and cut his throat. Right before the dragon died it used it's last ounce of strength and magic that he was going to use to recover himself to put a curse on the armor. This curse was complete and utter corruption of his soul....it was the curse of bloodlust. Later that day the dragon slayer had slain the dragon slayers in his squad and later murdered his own family through the curse and bloodlust that his armor gave him. The dragon slayer later committed suicide and this armor was kept away for a long time, hidden inside this area (puzzle side of the story). Alt ending (mini-boss side of the story): This armor was later found by (insert mini-boss here) and used to this day. Some of the magical powers is still stored inside this armor, though, most of the curse's magical powers has long been removed after the dragon slayer died with it. At times, it can call upon the magical powers from long ago increasing your armor by 100 for a short time. Through bloodlust (killing) you can charge up the armor even more to call upon more of it's magical powers (increased chance to trigger effect). Sorry for making you read that horribly written essay, it was all I could think of to make this armor sound more evil and dark. The killing part to charge up your armors trigger rate was suppose be the dark part, though the story is pretty evil itself lol.
That's all I got, I tried and make it as useful and as unique as I could (which was hard, Aero almost made all the item ideas ever created, or at least the ones I tried thinking of
)
