Funny should you've mentioned 300, in fact I watched it last weekend for the first time. :p Finally found out where people got their habit to shout "THIS. IS. SPARTA!". But still, like I said, betrayers can't beat their own.

What you described there merely stated, that Ephitales and Illidan just broke peace on their own kind, but never won, now did they? Illidan died by hands of Arthas, failing to defeat night elves, and Ephitales had no physical contact on any of the Spartans.

Also, the Den is not recruiting at the moment.
