The best part of the story, from what I have seen so far, is when the Black Hooded Man slaughtered Phodom's family. It was hard to watch.

The worst part would have to be Franz's origin story. Some mysterious voice telling him to go meet Phodom? I feel like a more established background is needed to give the character more depth. He's a bit shallow at the moment.

Question 2: Characters - What do you think about characters? Are they boring? Are they interesting? Who is your favorite character? What character you didn't liked. Why?

Answer 2: Continuing on my answer from number one, I didn't really like Franz. His mannerisms are a bit juvenile at times, and I feel that he removes the sincerity of the campaign established with Phodom.

I like the power of the characters. They feel like competent fighters.

Phodom is awesome. I love the character. His attitude, his purpose, his theme, it all ties together to make him a great character. Making his introduction chapter first certainly biased me towards your game.

Galeoth is interesting enough. He didn't have very many people to talk to, so I didn't really get to see him talk, besides to himself. I'm reserving judgment on him until I see him in later chapters, with the rest of the group.

Question 3: Game play - What do you think about the game play. Is it boring? Is the campaign too repetive? Is there too much killing? What is the best side of game play and what is the worst. Why?

Answer 3: The game play is great. I don't believe there's too much killing, you don't have infinitely respawning units or anything, unlike some other custom campaigns I have tried. It's not boring. The only thing that gets repetitive is the load screen, since I'm playing on dated hardware. It takes over four minutes to load at time, but I'm perfectly fine with that. It's worth the wait, and I realize the amount of customization in this map.

The part that I don't like is the professions, or at least digging and thievery. I always forget to use them. When I get into a boss fight, I'm not focused on stealing from him, I'm focused on getting those groovy bosspoints. It's only once I've killed him and saved that I think "****, I just missed a potentially awesome item." Same thing with digging. I don't notice that I haven't used it at all until the chapter end, when it displays the 0/10.

I look forward to using alchemy though. My stash has a lot of plants and recipes, waiting for Galeoth to come use.

Question 4: Bosses - What do you think about the bosses at the campaign? Too hard? Too easy? Please tell me what is your favorite boss and what is the worst boss? Why?

Answer 4: When I first fought the shadow golem in chapter 1, I had no idea what to expect. He must have killed me 5 times before I learned his patterns and how to survive the fight. That was a bit frustrating, but the elation of getting past the golem made it worth it.

The bosses are difficult. You're obviously asking for some skill from a player going through on normal mode. The main-questline bosses aren't so bad, but the elite and epic bosses scattered throughout the chapters required some shenanigans to overcome at times.

My favorite boss was the centaur at the end of chapter 2. I loved fighting alongside the guardsmen at the bridge as Franz. The dialogue lead me to believe that I would get something special, maybe get a reward from the survivors. I loaded so many times until I had about 3 of them left alive, only to find that there was no reward. The letdown sucked, but I never got tired of that bossfight. Galeoth had some fun ones too.

My least favorite boss was easily the tree in Chapter 4. When he would sit down and begin regaining health (Rapidly) and throw up the mana shield, I was pissed. I would lose health, he would gain, it, and then we would keep fighting with the last few minutes of damage undone. I began saving when I thought he was about to sit down, and loaded if he sat down instead of summoning trees.

Question 5: Music/sound - What do you think about the musics at the campaign? Are they bad? Are they good? What is the best and the worst music at the campaign?

Answer 5: When I first heard the Final Fantasy "sleeping at an inn" sound, I chuckled a little bit.

The best use of the music was at the entrance to the giant fish in chapter 1, the one in the cave that had killed a lot of the captain's soldiers. The music got me pumped and ready, and excited for the fight. It served it purpose very well.

The worst music was in chapter 4. It was a large swamp, with the same dull music looping for a very long time. I wasn't fond of it.

Overall, the music is excellent though. I usually listen to music of my own when I play video games, but  I consistently listened to your ingame music instead.

Question 6: Diffculty - What is your opinion about the difficulty. Is it too hard? Too easy? Which parts of the campaigns were not balanced, what are they, and why?

Answer 6: Chapter 4 is what sticks out most in my mind here. The ridiculous Dragon Spirit boss battle was extremely difficult, as was the tree.

The balance is good. I never felt like there was a battle I couldn't just come back to later in the chapter to defeat.

Question 7: Cinematics - What do you think about the cinematics? Too long? Too much? Too boring? Tell what is the worst and the best cinematic and why.

Answer 7: I enjoyed the cinematics. The dialogue had a few English errors, but I knew what the characters were trying to say, and it did not subtract from your game besides making it appear unpolished. Which is to be expected, since it's a beta. I don't remember the worst cinematic, but there were a few that I felt dragged on for too long. I enjoyed the cinematics where the text cycled quickly. I'm a fast reader.

Question 8: Atmosphere - What do you think about the atmosphere of the campaign? Too funny? Too sad? Tell what increases and decreases the atmosphere? Why?

Answer 8: I'm going to start this answer by complaining about the terrain in Chapter 3. Galeoth was constantly surrounded by white, **** reflective, bright, white. It was bothersome.
I love the atmosphere you've developed, it's sincere, and sad, and excellent...until Fradz ruins it. But it appears that many people are fans of Fradz, so I suppose I'm the odd man out on this one.

Question 9: Abilities/Spells - What do you think about characters' spells? Are they balanced? Does they have good enough effects?

Answer 9: I've only played through once, on normal, with one set of spells. The spells work as advertised. One thing that I wish I didn't take on Fradz is the non-ultimate form of teleport strike. I forget what it is called. Flash strike? But I don't like this ability, since he can be hit and cannot run away, and cannot be healed. It's a setup for Fradz to die many, many times. I learned not to use it, and wish that I could have switched it for something else. I also took fire elemental on Phodom, which turned into too much micromanagement in boss fights when I was constantly dodging, right when I needed the fire elemental the most.

Question 10: Items - Are the items interesting? Are they unique? Are there too much items? What should be changed?
Answer 10: I liked the items. They weren't the highlight of the game for me, but I enjoyed them. Not sure about the Azure Visage though.

All things consired, how would you describe your playing experience at the campaign?

I absolutely loved this campaign. I despised the puzzles. Here's why.
In chapter 1, there was a box with the switches near it. I read the description, but had no idea what switch effected the puzzle in what way. Also, the instructions faded quickly, and there was no way to refer back to them besides restart the level (I had saved by this point.)
Also, Galeoth's invisible trail puzzle with the blue and the yellow "hints" made no sense to me. I resorted to type -g to move my boxes to me constantly. I saw that if I summoned the boxes, and the boxes on one side of me returned to the starting point, I couldn't walk there. So I was slowly walking along, typing -g, until I made it to the end. I just wanted to get to the boss.

Chapter 4 was boring. One suggestion that I have for it is to make it so that the barrier to get to the dragon spirit, instead of being at the end of the cave, is right by the entrance. This would make it so that nobody wasted their time fighting mutants only to find a barrier-ed entrance. Also, I found that you can become stuck in the cave if you just run by the mutants. They will follow you, to try to attack, and then block the entrance of the teleport. Then, when you try to go back, the teleport won't work, since the mutant is in the way. I suggest making it so that they return to their original spawns after a certain amount of time, or follow through the portals.

Okay, let's see another "questionnaire".

The scene of murdering Phodom family is the thing that should wake the player and in that point the story really begins. Then there comes to basic idea why Phodom starts this painful journey that sooner or later ends in a way or another.

About Fradz's story, it's mystical still, but it plays a HUGE part in the story. And... Fradz tries to live his live fullest. That will be also explained why he's like that, I don't do characters without thinking their background stories.

I'll add a special reward after chapter 2's boss if there are any survivors after the fight. I was also thinking to remade chapter 3 elite boss and chapter 4 boss. I admit, both bosses sucks.

I've been searching for a good music for chapter 4's background music.

There are three different type of main characters. I try to get attention not only from kids but also from older people. By having three totally different personalities, I hope I have succes with this challenge.

I see, Flash Strike sucks. Hmm, maybe I should give it that 100% evasion also.

About chapter 4 magical wall, it was like that before. I however changed it so player could enter Ghost Shop before fighting with Elite Boss.

Thanks for you thoughts. This once again made me a little bit wiser and some ideas came up with reading this. Thanks again.

1: Poor
2: Fair
3: Average
4: Good
5: Excellent

Question 1:  5.
Havent finished only up to chapter 4 so far witha ll items but so far excellent. Dynamic and interesting, still unsure as to how it will end. Perfectly balanced.

Question 2: 4.
All well created with stereotypical characterisation however. Fradz and Galeoth are excellent imo both top guys :p. Phodom however is a bit uninteresting at times, his family died those long speeches at the beginning and end of ch1 and ch4 i think? But hes not bad.

Question 3: 5.
Excellent gameplay. All quests are well balanced and i like how the creeps DONT respawn for endless cntrl a attack, the bosses even the minor but in particular EPIC and ELITE are very very well done and intersting to play, far from the standard atack and pot up. The campaign is far from repetitive from what i found so far and becomes real challenging (for me with poor micro) when more than 1 is introduced that you control. Worst side is the walking and some of the secret quests such as the stone finding in ch4? is rather hard to find without direction i still cant find them, maybe a hint or two also tp's on every level or some such? Bes tparts are all the custom things uve added excellent terrain fights... list is endless :).

Question 4: 5.
All excellent so far have encountered no problems at all. I love all the bosses that are individually scripted,i in particular so far i liked the noctoriah one just because it was fun and had a clver ending.

Question 5: 5.
love the custom music gets you in the moood for the boss fights in particular. I enjoyed the fradz road walking music at cinematics in beginning too. no problems with music.

Question 6:
ive only eve rplayed on normal so i cant give u a good enuf estimate, tho from what ive played, its kinda tough even on normal.

Question 7: 5.
cinematics = perfect, really intersting and uve made actions i see sometiems go along with the emotions they feel amazing! tho they are kinda long and hard to watch on your 3rd 4th play through, but there all really nice.

Question 8:4.5.
i think the atmosphere is fairly serious which is goood, the characters provide and good dose of sadness happiness each which is good, but some of the parts just are a bit overrdone i feel just like in the tree battle ch4 and they all talk to you about how sad there life is, but i dont mind its still really epic

Question 9: 4.5
All perfect customeable and i love that. But arent the abilities especially the midtier ones like not the 1st or ultimats all the same withh different names or casting times, the forumals seem the same and some have different effects, it seems that way espesh on galeoth? in general they are perfectly balanced and have found NO Problems.

Question 10: 5
All extremely interesting love how u can upgrade from them synthesis and what not, all vaslty different to standard items with many rangning effects. Nothing wrong here! Maybe some items that are consumables that particularly correspond to abilities of certain characters like dmg AOE cast time upgrades??

All things consired, how would you describe your playing experience at the campaign?

Excellent, except some things detract from it, in particular is the long loading time, cant be helped im guessing but yeah. Also the scoreboard, it goes wild in my 1.5a version with the headings all showing wrong information at times, fix that! and as well as im guessing i cant load my previous file into the new versions i have to starrt again aww :( but other than that i love it!

Would you recommend this campaign to your friends? ABSOLUTELY

About the story. It's hard at this point to actually rate it. The story just goes so deep it's impossible at this point to understand even the basic things such as why the Black Hooded Man didn't kill Phodom and just killed his family. The main story line divides to two journeys. First to the chase of Black Hooded Man and then the journey of The Chosen Ones.

What I think about the characters Phodom is perhaps the most realistic character of the three. Fradz is to make the atmosphere funny and Galeoth is to balance it as he's the "iceman".

Is the "stone quest" of chapter 4 so hard? How should I improve this one? About walking, I've created some teleports to chapters. Aren't these teleports enough?

Also I wondered why 1,5 points were lost because of teleport and chapter 4 stone quest problem. I'm sure there's something more that made you give 3,5. Just tell me, this thread is only meant to help me to make this campaign better. Criticism is allowed!

Good that you liked cinematics, this is one of the things I try to focus on. They aren't that epic but I hope the story and the dialogue will give more to them.

Aah... The story goes really deep further you play. In this case, I have bad news for you: there will be some cinematics about Phodom where he's really sad mourning about his life. There are also some parts when he finally goes to berserk: but we must remember that in the end, Phodom is not that type of person.

Thanks for the questionnaire!

This is true and now after finally completing the beta version to chapter 6 my views have changed

with the stone quest in ch4 i just spent ages not getting it because im so used to the normal treasure chest icon and i never picked you actually used a stone icon for it, the only way i picked up on this is through the forums, i think for new players in particular a subtle hint in regards to these quests, there are a number of other quests that you arent directed at either but this isnt a bad thing like that forgotten quest in ch6 and i was never to sure how to summon faegra

IN regards to ch5the tps are fine, i just could never work it before being unable to buy the greater magic stone, the tps within ch6 are also good, i just hadnt gottne this far into campaign b4

I think the main problem with chapter 5 is the doom lord takes infintely long to spawn i didnt like that much, i can see the realism of it taking an hour but seeing as i wanted to kill him at the end afking for an hour wasn't fun :P

With phodom i changed my mind it was just in beginning at chapter 1 he had some alot of dialogue which i loved at the first time but then i thought oh maybe he always does this.. but since u switch characters around it balances out and i loved the conclusion at chapter 6 when u epic pwn XADA ftw great fight there btw

Overalll this is probably the BEST map ive played slightly beating 'this wreckage' and i cant wait for some of the final chapters when this storyline is explanded on more!

I could change the stones to something else. To this for example: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/models-530/scroll-red-50605/?prev=t%3D3%26r%3D200%26d%3Dlist%26page%3D2

What do you think?

I understand the Doom thing. It is supposed to activate in the beginning of chapter. Should I make the loading time shorter?

cant see the img atm work computers dont let me go the site, ill check later, it just needs to be something that STANDOUTS really well imo too make it worth noticing and clicking on

with the doom thing what i recommend is that once activated maximum of 10 minutes and a countdown timer? idk if thats good or not, perhaps even townsmen when clicked on say sometihng like "uhh it feels really evil up on that hill, someone shud go check it out" and then u can do your one hour, but eveb that is too much, perhaps 30 with timer then?

You should also do the same thing with the bridge.
Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

The bridge isn't like that. You must defeat X amount of bosses, see cinematics and do quests until the bridge is fixed.

version i played well all of them :)
5: Excellent

Question 1: Story - What do you think about the story? Is it too confusing? Too simple? What is the best and the worst part in the story. Why?

Well story is great and not confusing if you know the language :) the best is fradz's conversations especially on ch 5 it is just hilarious :)

Question 2: Characters - What do you think about characters? Are they boring? Are they interesting? Who is your favorite character? What character you didn't liked. Why?

Characters are great but new fradz is boring because of his hair :/
I didn't like cows on first chapter XD because i can't kill them XD

Question 3: Game play - What do you think about the game play. Is it boring? Is the campaign too repetive? Is there too much killing? What is the best side of game play and what is the worst. Why?

Worst part of the game is loading :/ but to avoid it player must stay calm and clear headed so no more drinking while playing XD

Question 4: Bosses - What do you think about the bosses at the campaign? Too hard? Too easy? Please tell me what is your favorite boss and what is the worst boss? Why?

Bosses ahhhh bosses :) they are just great. The best one is The biggest looser in the world, and the worst is a dragon's soul because game usually crashes after using revival spell :/

Question 5: Music/sound - What do you think about the musics at the campaign? Are they bad? Are they good? What is the best and the worst music at the campaign?

Music and sounds are just fine so don't touch them XD

Question 6: Diffculty - What is your opinion about the difficulty. Is it too hard? Too easy? Which parts of the campaigns were not balanced, what are they, and why?

Why is this question here if you can pick difficulty XD

The worst is first cinematic because i can't skip it :/

Question 8: Atmosphere - What do you think about the atmosphere of the campaign? Too funny? Too sad? Tell what increases and decreases the atmosphere? Why?

Atmosphere is awesome especially when fradz argue with himself XD

Question 9: Abilities/Spells - What do you think about characters' spells? Are they balanced? Does they have good enough effects?

Spells are alright but it would be better if they would be placed in classes like summoning etc.

Question 10: Items - Are the items interesting? Are they unique? Are there too much items? What should be changed?

You should remove items you cant get in certain chapters and decrease prices XD

All things consired, how would you describe your playing experience at the campaign?

well over 100h says it all :)

Would you recommend this campaign to your friends?

Already did :)

Thanks for the reply. I read it but I didn't get much information how to improve the campaign itself. But sometimes that is not necessary. You just increases my motivation towards the campaign and gave some thoughts I needed.

It is hard to give such an accurate review at this point of campaign where only 6 of 10 chapters are done. That is very understanding especially for the story part: the big secrets are told in the end of the campaign such as Fradz's story, secret characters and what part different dragons play in the story.

Anyway, thanks again.
