Ragnarok: A sword whose blade is kept super-heated by some kind of special gizmobob, or something.
Electro Boots: This piece of everyday clothing is magically enchanted to provide enhanced speed. But why?!?
Sunrise Set: A suit of heavy armour, forged for and worn by a legendary Paladin. It's meant to represent the rigidity and... protection of the Paladin Code or something?
Crown of Magic: A crown worn by a legendary wizard. It has 'mind-enhancing effects'.
Omega Helmet: It's either intimidating or incredibly silly, depending on who's wearing it, and where. I mean, an axe-wielding man with a huge beard and frothing mouth could use this to further scare his foes, but if, say, a lawyer wore it, it wouldn't work so well. But maybe...
Angel's Gift: It is traditional for Knights to pray to stars for fortune before a quest. It is said that those of pure heart who prayed with the most selfless intentions and the most passion would meet amongst the crowds of peasants who saw them off a mysterious little white-haired girl, who, with an innocent smile, would wish him luck and present him with this delicate artefact.
Amethyst: A coloured variety of quartz, usually used to adorn jewellery or armour. It's superstitiously believed to protect from intoxication, but this has never been proved in the slightest.
Otzi Claw: It's, uh, a dead otzi's hand... What would you want THAT for? Practical jokes, probably. You sicken me.
Basic Armor: A generic suit of armour. Its name is stupid.
Branch of Rejuvenation: This branch would easily succumb to the ravages of fire.
Coin Sword: This sword IS, as its name implies, exorbitantly expensive! People will think you're classy indeed if you wield it, surely.
Storm Ring: You'll be the talk of the town with this shiny ring!

Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

So...i've finally found where that sentences came from(i hadn't saw this topic until last post)
Nice sentences Chimto, really funny, but don't you think Omega Helmet and Angel's Gift sentences are a little too long?

It's fine, as long as it doesn't break the text limit!
But it appears that Aero doesn't like most of my jokes...

Good, good, we need more item texts.

Max description is 498 letters. Big items can take all possible space meaning they can't have any text.

Steel Round Shield: This shield is not that round and it's not made from steel. We're not even sure it's a shield.
Diamond: Whiteish, lustrous gemstone, often considered precious and tussled over (see the WAR entry in your dictionary for more details).
Zozi: Little is known about the powerful and mysterious 'Zozi' outside the comprehensive information contained within the Wikipedia Oelivertica. - Wikipedia Oelivertica
Omega Weapon: Experience the beauty and intensity of the Mesozoic era with the latest in FutureCom nanosword technology! - FutureCom Safari Brochure
Ogozoma: What mystery lies within?
Pete's Pipe: Missing: One wooden pipe, the kind usually used by smokers. If found, please return to Pete c/o Oelivert. Reward $$$
Aerial Armor: New Flying Armour! Soar above the clouds with this handsome item! Disclaimer: This armour doesn't allow owner to fly.
Flute of Serenity: Hypnotism works best against those who don't expect it.
Axe: Werewolves, vampires, spiders from the sky,... this axe has a notch for just about every kind of monster there is!

Scythe of Annihilation: This item's origins is deeply mysterious, probably created aeons ago by a mad sorcerer.
Zyl Orb 6: I'm Zylcious, one of the main villains of the campaign. You'll see me as the Epic Boss of chapter 10. As a member of the Zylcious Fan Club, now you too can have a little orb of everyone's favourite dragon. Enjoy! ...or I will BOIL THE BLOOD IN YOUR VEINS.
Aero: Insect! You boldly seek the power of the Creator?! Now you shall feel it firsthand! - Aeroblyctos
Demon Sphere: The Demon Sphere is one of the rarest and most powerful artefacts around Oelivert. A single sighting can make the career of a historian, assuming that he can survive the wrath of its demon guardians. - Pliny the Absent's Historia
Golden Eye: A series of break-ins shocked the local giant community last night as a burglar gained access to several 2-storey windows by illegal use of a magic beanstalk and stole this eye.
Bear Fur: Bear Safety Fun Tip: Never get between the mama bear and her cubs. She will not be cool with it and will totally wig out.
Soldier's Sword: SWORD (sawd), noun. Longish piece of metal, quite pointy and sharp on one end, somewhat less so on the other.

Poison Knife: A knife, tipped with poison. Well, what kind of poison? It doesn?t matter!
Stogo Helmet: A metal helm to protect your noggin.
Amulet of Strength: This necklace, set with a red gem, magically increases the wearer's physical strength.
Ring of Agility: This little ring, set with a yellow gem, magically increases the wearer's speed.
Purple Stream: This... thing magically increases the wearer's mental acuity.
Chagehage: A delicate piece of jewellery. Wear it in your fingers.
Strange Stump: An oddly crafted magical talisman infused with the power of earth.
Health Potion: This generic potion restores half of your health. The bottle is to scale.
Aero: This armour once belonged to Aeroblyctos. It's made of a strange whiteish metal.
Azureus Set: Everything about this armour set says 'Azureus'! Or something!
Animal Set: A rather ridiculous sort of armour made of animal skin. It's more protective than you might think.
Crown of Magic: An amazingly powerful crown made from some sort of magical material, or something. Important and powerful mages are often seen wearing them.
Skeleton Cape: Black garb of a ninja. Assists in stealth.
Excalibur: This sword is not copied of any other game.
Lightning Set: Armour made from lightning bolts magically frozen. How did you pick this up...?
Widger Queen's Ring: This seems to be some sort of ring.
Spiked Club: What an anachronism.
Basic Armor: A simple armour often used by generic, expendable soldiers.
Butcher's Set: This armour is taken from the remains of a Butcher, it would seem, though obviously it's not the same one that you faced in Diablo because this one looks exactly like a Great Unclean One!
Sword of Night: A sword often used by knights. Probably because 'night' and 'knight' are homonymes. But probably not.
Soldier's Set: This is your regular equipment... on steroids. Alright, alright, it's just a paint job and a nice decal.
Omega Gloves: Years of research in nanotechnology were required for this amazing product to reach this particular shade of purple. Beautiful...
Aerial Shoes: Originally designed to reach outer space, it's now being sold because its previous owner completely forgot about space suits...
Steel Round Shield: A shield of incredible power. Whether incredibly strong or incredibly weak is debatable.
Thunder Boots: If you've never seen a human reaching mach 2, here's your chance.

  • Javelin: A powerful, albeit generic, javelin made for legionnaires of Balgaron.
  • Death Spike: An iron-tipped spike said to have been used to impale hundreds of criminals and civilians alike. The sight of this weapon being carried around is enough to scare away minor ghosts and monsters.
  • Doom Sword: A sword dropped by a monster from another dimension. Its otherworldly blade can cut through everything, even a tomato.
  • Omega Orb: Tales spoken of a horrible monster that lurks within Icy Mountain, kidnapping and draining the life of brave adventurers that dare set foot within its territory. This orb is said to contain their very essence for the monster's own usage.
  • Mana Ball: A magnificent orb made of pure mana. A single ethereal touch of this item can bring about inner peace.

Okay, texts added once again.

Omega Helmet: It's either intimidating or incredibly silly, depending on who's wearing it, and where. I mean, an axe-wielding man with a huge beard and frothing mouth could use this to further scare his foes, but if, say, a lawyer wore it, it wouldn't work so well. But maybe..
Make this a little smaller and I can accept it. By 20 letters at least.

Aero, how can i know the items that already have sentences and the ones that don't have(or you don't have to know?)
I don't know if my imagination would be good, but firstly i need to know how to use it in this case.
Or just do texts from your head to any item. If I see it good enough and the space is already filled I will find another item that fits with your description.

And I actually like some of Yggdrasill's idea but some are just too strange.

And hey Yggdrasill, can you give me all texts that are based on the ruby, sapphire, etc and give me in one post? Don't give me ruby then few months, sapphire, give them all at once. Thank you!
