Amethyst: A coloured variety of quartz, usually used to adorn jewellery or armour. It's superstitiously believed to protect from intoxication, but this has never been proved in the slightest.

This is for example one.

Actually, that's only one of the two texts for misc items that I posted.
Along the shore the cloud waves break,
The twin suns sink behind the lake,
The shadows lengthen
In Carcosa.

Strange is the night where black stars rise,
And strange moons circle through the skies,
But stranger still is
Lost Carcosa.

Songs that the Hyades shall sing,
Where flap the tatters of the King,
Must die unheard in
Dim Carcosa.

Song of my soul, my voice is dead,
Die thou, unsung, as tears unshed
Shall dry and die in
Lost Carcosa.

Pathetic Boots: The name, of course, is a euphemism.
Staff of Tranquility: A branch from a mighty, legendary, celestial tree, crafted into a magical staff. It has a small emerald in the shaft that doesn't do anything at all!
Omega Helmet: A helmet that was taken from Siluze. It may or may not have belonged to him at some point.
Crystal Mask: A shimmering helmet that seems to be made from an almost immaterial substance, which gives an impression of flowing water even though it's not actually, y'know, flowing. Or water.
Rogue's Hood: A stylish leather hood that increases speed somewhat.
Lucky Horseshoe: A horseshoe which is rather superstitiously said to grant its holder improved luck.
Ruby: Rubies are extremely valuable red gemstones, a variety of mineral corundum. They're mystically associated with strength, passion, power, fire.
Sapphire: Sapphires are corundum gems of any colour other than red, the most popular and powerful colour being deep blue. They're mystically associated with mind and spirit, magic, intellect, water.
Topaz: I just don't understand... why are topazes grouped together with rubies and sapphires... I mean, they are much more common...
Mana Potion: When consumed, this potion instantly restores half of your precious Mana Points. Or Magic Points, if you think they're called that. It also causes severe diarrhoea, nausea, hallucinations, and malignant tumours, but that's not relevant.
Keg of Ale: A keg of ale. You can't drink from it though. Why? Because. Shut up.
Santoryu: This sword is not copied of any other game.
Icy Crystal: A clear blue gemstone. It's probably magical. I mean, everything else is...
Zyl Orb: If for some reason you feel like Aero did a bad job at setting the stats of our heroes, here's your chance to adjust them to suit your needs.
Magic Dust: Information can be extremely valuable. With this thing here, you'll be able to see nearby invisible enemies! Information has a price, though...
Restoration Potion: Genuine restoration potion! Whoops... I'll just remove this made in China sticker... Doesn't belong to this item, obviously!
Soldier's Set (3): This is your regular equipment... on steroids. Alright, alright, it's just a paint job and a nice decal.
Omega Bracelet: Years of research in nanotechnology were required for this amazing product to reach this particular shade of purple. Beautiful...
Aerial Shoes: Originally designed to reach outer space, it's now being sold because its previous owner completely forgot about space suits...
Thunder Boots: If you've never seen a human reaching mach 2, here's your chance.
Glass of Sludge: Hideous taste, lots of bacteria, can block your oesophagus... But seriously, when you're THIS cool, you don't bother for details.
Basic Armor: When budget is a concern and you REALLY want some protection, try out the Basic Armour!
Crown of Magic: An amazingly powerful crown made from some sort of magical material, or something. Important and powerful mages are often seen wearing them.
Butcher's Set: This armour is taken from the remains of a Butcher, it would seem, though obviously it's not the same one that you faced in Diablo because this one looks exactly like a Great Unclean One!

Excalibur: No, this doesn't have anything to do with King Arthur's sword. Nothing at all. It's not even a reference to it or anything.
Laijsla: Armour fashioned specifically for Fradz. The F letter emblazoned on the chest seems sort of silly, but Fradz insists on it because he doesn't take life too seriously anyway and thinks it's rather fitting. ON HIS CHEST!!! ...Get it?!?! Nevermind.
Strange Stump: A not-so legendary talisman apparently made from some kind of magically stunned treant. How eccentric.
Oelivert: A semi-legendary artefact used by some great Shaman hero aeons ago. It is said that when he died, a forest grew around his grave, and this artefact was lost deep within it. Or something to that effect.
Ancient Leaf: A leaf taken from the corpse of chapter 4 Elite Boss. Awarded for defeating that boss.
Shadow Cloak: This piece of everyday clothing is magically enchanted to provide enhanced speed. But why?!?
Azureus Set: A suit of golden armour blessed by Azureus. You can feel the holiness just radiating off it, like a warm sandwich.
Coin Sword: A golden sword that once belonged to some kind of monarch. Looks expensive!
Jade: This gem sparkles with a myriad beautiful shades of green.
Power Orb: An orb which is attuned to the physical wavelengths and body chakras such that it increases the potential of the body of the wearer. Or something like that.
Energy Orb: An orb which is attuned to the mental wavelengths and mind chakras such that it increases the potential of the mind of the wearer. Or something like that.
Elemental Tablet: This shiny rock was once stuck to the body of a Rock Elemental. It's amazing what can evolve naturally, don't you think?
Skull Shield: 'Alas, poor Yorick!' It feels rather morbid to hold one of these things.
Bug Shield: A shield which is able to summon bugs because of its smell. What do you mean, 'the smell wouldn't do that'? Well, it must be magic, then. Yes. A wizard did it.

Adamantine Guard: Your safety is our priority! Warning: Does not protect from death.
Frog Hood: Sick of blending into the crowd with generic hats? The FROG-shaped hood is guaranteed to get you noticed!
Elexorien III: The latest in rainbow harnessing technology.
Golden Eye: Just like a regular eye, only gold. Research shows you'll have at least 23% more ladies swoon when compared with a regular eye.
Golden Claw: Sure, gold is heavier and less practical than other metals, but there's no substitute for having your claws made of gold.

Oh well, i finally decided to make a contribution. I hope i won't copy any of Pourquois' phrases.

Evil Eye: A eye from a evil person. Evil things may happen to you while in your possession.
Falchion: A slightly curved sword. You may want to slash things with it.
Guado Armor: Don't know if it's italian ... or a game reference.
Exepede: It won't be that easy to find a better sword.
Life Stealer: A mortal blade that steals the enemy's life for some reason.
Orichalcon: A sword made from the legendary metal of Atlantis. Or it's just some game reference.
Power Gloves: They're not that powerful though.
Magic Shield: A shield that should defend against magic, but sadly it doesn't.

Santoryu: A sword which originated in a popular anime series about some pirates and treasures and something. It doesn't look happy to be ripped from its own world...
Bloodcrystal Amulet: A vial of dragon's blood, hung around one's neck like a pendant. It still possesses some magical power even in this state.
Zylcious' Cloak: But Zylcious doesn't even WEAR a cloak!!111
Dark Matter: The name is, of course, a euphemism.
Sword of Night: A sword often used by knights. Possibly because 'knight" and 'night' are homonymes. But probably not.
Lightning Chain: A chain made from lightning bolts, magically frozen. How do you pick this up...?
Orb of Degeneration: This violet orb reflects light with a wavelength of approximately 420 nm.
Excalibur: No, this doesn't have anything to do with King Arthur's sword. Nothing at all. It's not even a reference to it or anything.
Stone of Annihilus: Is 'annihilus' even a word? Maybe it's the brand name.
Skull Shield: Not too big, but it makes up defensive capabilities with creepiness.
Scythe of Annihilation: Perhaps the scythe of a dastardly villain. Because, you know... only villains use scythes and words like 'annihilation'.
Power Ring: Wear this for a while and you'll be able to win arm-wresting contests with your ring finger.
Lucky Clover: It has been estimated that there are approximately 10000 three leaf clovers for every four-leaf clover.

Icy Crystal: This blue gem reflects light with a wavelength of approximately 495 nm.
Golden Claw: Maybe this is what I'm! Ha! The! Ha! Most! Ha!... used to open cans of tuna.
Razord: Despite the name, you can't actually use it as a razor or a cord.
Coin Sword: You'll be the talk of the town with this shiny sword!
Golden Idol: It's actually pyrite, not gold, but hey whatever you need to say to fool the banker.
Turtle Shell: Great! Now all you need is a plumber's uniform and those amazing mushrooms banned by the FDA.
Ghost Wolf's Claws: You could have taken about 100 kilogrammes of fresh meat from this Ghost Wolf. Why did you take just a paw?
Andenaj I: Armour made from 179 different types of bamboo, furnished with EPA-approved cloth.
Lucky Horseshoe: Why is it lucky to find an old horseshoe? Some poor horse probably got hurt, what's lucky about that?
Cloak of Zylcious: I'm Zylcious, one of the main villains of the campaign. You'll see me as the Epic Boss of chapter 10. As a member of the Zylcious Fan Club, now you too can have a replica of everyone's favourite dragon's cloak. Enjoy! ...or I will BOIL THE BLOOD IN YOUR VEINS.
Wizard's Boots: Genuine magical boots! Whoops... I'll just remove this made in China sticker... Doesn't belong to this item, obviously!
Endless Potion: An ancient bottle containing a powerful healing salve. How can it refill itself and defy physics is still a mystery. (Originally by Doom).
Life Earring: A pair of earrings which can restore your health. Probably 'cause it's orange. It's not made from oranges, though. Does that make you cry? I bet it does.

Jewel of Health: It keeps you healthy. Perphaps it's a explanation of why heroes don't eat anything at all.
Belt of Rejuvenate: Is it a belt or a ring?
Mega Ring: A million times better than a normal ring...theoretically. Is there even the item "Ring" in the first place?
Giga Ring: A thousand times better than Mega Ring...at least, it should be. You can feel the difference...maybe
Tera Ring: A thousand times better than Giga Ring. For the ones that aren't good at math, it would exactly a trillion times better than a normal ring. Sadly, you know that's not the case here.
Icy Crystal: It's not made of ice, actually, it's icy, otherwise it would melt...

  • Jewel of Health: A small, cute gemstone that increases your health by a tiny bit each time a flash of light appears.
  • Ring of Agility: Looking for some new magical accessories? Sick of mundane rings that wear your fingers out? Try this shiny ring on and feel the agility surging through your body!
  • Doom Sword: A doomy sword doomed to bring doom to enemies of its wielder. There also used to be a Sheath of Doom but the Doom Lord accidentally dropped it into the Lake of Doom while on a Doombringing trip in the Forest of ... yeah well you can just guess what the word is.
  • Amulet of Strength: You cannot actually break anyone even with this amulet on. No joke.
