I have a few questions and if any of you can answer then great!
1.How many people are involved in the project?
2.For how long have you actively been working on this project?
3. Is there anyway I can help.... I'm only 17 and I have no experiences with mods or any coding at all, but I am very interested to learn more about it!
Now I guess I could give some tips how to make this campaign better...
I was thinking about the UI and how difficult it is to do things....is there a way to have pop up windows, like tabs that you can easily switch between, for example the poisons icon is at the top of the screen and it gives you the option of healing your self with one of your health/mana potions in its current form you can press F1 to go to that window and then switch back to F5 to your character but what could be done is taking the icons in at the main ability selections where you attack/defend etc take some icons that don't need to be there, the best example would be the patrol icon...I just don't find any use for it.
The current build I am using 1.7k has some severely bad bugs at the beginning chapter, all the dialog s are great and the story element haven't yet broken on me but the mini-games have.
Chapter 1: the puzzle which you need to attack the levers to get a certain number is broken, there are no numbers the only thing I see is qq qq q qv qq q where I guess the numbers are supposed to be, all the dig sites in chapter one are un-digable(yes that sounded weird) Phodon cant seem to dig anything up he always gets its too far down, I looked it up on the wiki and there it said that in chapter 1 some dig sites only need level 0 which I had but for some reason I could not dig even if the dig-site was at my level.
Chapter 2 was for me great and every thing worked as planned much better then chapter 1 but I spotted an exploid which could have given me endless gold, remember the guardians to the temple which you need to kill at the same time to get passed the barrier. When went there I got one of the guardians to follow me to a safe distance and I just used a basic sets of spells/abilities which gave me the ability to kill it every 15-30 seconds or so and for every kill I got on an average 40 gold, I did that for 1 hour :/ and got 8000 gold from it which was great for me but I don't know if that was your intention to allow such things so I'm just letting you know of the risk following that kind of behavior.
Chapter 3 was...well okay but not that great and the puzzle with the ghosts that just keep healing them selves I almost went mad trying to figure that out and in the end I just gave up on figuring out what to do!
I was currently at chapter 4 when I decided to start over because when I got into researching this campaign more and found those broken features i could have done or known that i could steal from bosses and get items that I other wise would not get or that to complete a set you needed to have dug up a component in the first level which I was unable to do then I just wanted to have a fresh start.
Okay maybe some of this belongs in the bug section but I hope you look at this and take as it is...one mans/child's opinions
BTW I'm on my 18 year but I'm still technically 17.
Also there need to be a better tutorial, something interactive [-)
