If you are playing from a give up and have a lot of gold, you will get a full set of best obtainable items in Ch.7 already (except hero's sets and Jade Set which last item is in Ch.8). Constantly in every chapter you got some part of strong set, maybe add another one with the last item available in Ch.9? Something really strong that destroys mana (and makes Yurgimar's fight easier) and requires 6 items - like Omega Set - omega orb lvl 6 (from Ch.3), omega gloves (from Ch.3), Zelmet (from Ch.7), Omega Bracers (from Ch.8) some omega item from Ch.9 and True Zozi (obtainable only in Ch.7 in auction). Such Set would be the hardest to get as far as it requires complicated quests to be finished.
I suppose that something like that is required - also before lots of boss fights in Ch.10.

About the balance - Ethan's spell (as I've already mentioned before) Phoenix Combo has to be nerfed significantly - as far as it kills 15K hp Phodom with a single cast (tested 3 times already). Maybe I got some problems due to loading the game and not to start from the beginning of the Chapter, but such thing occurs again and again.

Hmm. There will be more powerful items: Ultimate Sets, Elemental Staff, Omega Set, Zyl Orb(full), Magic Orb,  Yin & Yang and many Lucky Box items. Still not enough? Also there will be some items from chapter 10 bosses.  But yes there should be more "mana taking items".

There are some items I haven't yet added to the campaign: Adamantine Guard, Sceptre of Apparitions and Phantom Edge. I'm wondering where these items should be obtained.

It should happen every 30 second or something. But the damage you receive, is not a bug actually. Use a potion in the middle of event so you won't die.

Elemental Staff was not so good in my opinion to replace some items already obtained (like life stone). Yin&Yang is good - it replaced ultimate thief set on Fradz for me. Omega Set - never found it - dunno what it is. Full Zyl Orb is good, but -90 for two stats - don't know if it is really useful in comparison with other items inspite of +270 to 1 stat (loss of significant HP, loss of MANA (magic dmg), loss of attack speed - you have to choose two of them) - super holgro is much more useful. But Magic Orb lvl 10 is great for sure.

I compared such items with maximum obtainable as on Ch.9 (taken into account that magic damage items would be nerfed):
Phodom - Dragon Buster, Sargatanas, Aero, Super Holgro, Phodom's Set, Jade Set
Fradz - Francisca, Life Stealer, Fradz's Set, Andenaj III, Life Stone, Yin&Yang
Galeoth - Excalibur (gives huge attack bonus), Zocmo Set, Galeoth's Set, Life Stone, Crown of Magic (recipe from 4th lvl item shop), Heavy Divine Maximilian

Also I don't remember what Super Ogozoma gives (as far as current Yurgimar doesn't upgrade it), but as far as I remember it was something great.

About lucky box - no single item from lucky box could be compared with set items from 4th level shop recipes.

But Omega Set and other items you mentioned (that were not included yet) can change my opinion for sure ;D

Hohoho. I thought of the same idea around 2 years ago as a joke, and I can't believe that Aero actually added it.

Soooo sad :'( :'( :'(

Current version of Yurgimar fight totally lost its interesting features :'(
In previous and really epic ones during the first phase of fight he was flying and casting, summoning the lich mini-boss etc. In current he just fly away summon skeletons, wards - return for 4-5 seconds (totally not enough to even damage him for a 20% of his max hp) and flies away (AND REGEN HIS HP TO THE MAX EVERY TIME!!!!). So it is just stupid time wasting fight now - kill skeletons and wards and wait for the cinematic time. Ok, the cinematic starts showing the Yurgimar (his illusion) laying near of the heroes and they think that he is dead. BUT! He had 100% of his hp when the cinematic starts. Due to his imba regen it is impossible to even damage him enough for him not to be able to regen this amount during his flights (while he is immortal).
Ok, I thought that it was just a new idea - during the first phase of fight you can't even damage him and you have just to survive for some time before the 2nd stage (in black hall), but seriously - where is lich mini-boss??? And this hp regen makes the fight a real nonsense. In previous version the events were not so routine as in current - now his just fight for 4-5 seconds - flies away and summon skeletons - summon wards and cage - returns with full hp. And again and again....

Ok, the 2nd stage have started while I can't even damage him during the first one.
I destroyed all of his mana, avoid illusion killing, was staying on colored circles... Yurgimar loss the ability to summon his own illusions!!! Instead of it he was doing the same routine things - fight (without mana already), takes some damage (his regen again is sooo imba, but even with that it was possibly to kill him if the fight lasts long), summon illusions, summon Jurxy, than every 20-30 seconds he disappears and colored circle event starts. And what do you think waits after the end of such event? Yes? Yurgimar with full hp again. During the stage of fight while it is impossible to attack him - AGAIN HE REGENERATES EVERYTHING!
Really, the previous version was sooo interesting - this single fight worth the 8 previous chapters!!!
And what now? Imba regen and even in case of obtaining of the best possible items and max dmg spells for the current version - he is unkillable. Just regen. And nothing more.

I think the events while he is unreachable has to occur for both stages of fight not so frequently. I mean let us fight with him longer! And plz, return more events - just summon and flying away is sad :'(
He has got really imba regeneration now, plz, make him unable to regenerate hp during the events when he is unreachable. So, while he is on the ground you have to attack him with all 3 heroes constantly to even damage him a bit.
And in the second stage nerf his regen significantly after his mana is destroyed. When I cast Phodom's ulti on him - with huge magic damage bonuses - HE REGENERATED MORE HP THEN AMOUNT OF DAMAGE TOOK DURING THE PHOENIX COMBO!

Sorry for my emotions, but I lost about 30 minutes in the second stage of fight with him just for the tie result - he can't kill me, I can't kill him due to his regen.

This fight was like a cherry on a pie, so please, return the previous version ::)

P.S. Maybe set his hp regen to 0 during both stages, and increase his mana pool during the 2nd stage (but set both mana and hp regen to 0). While he got mana - he can't loss hp. When mana is gone - he got no hp regen. And make his starting HP not 1mln, but 2mln. Currently it is like 1mln - easy, 1,33 normal 1,66 hard etc.

I didn't change much from the previous version; just the health regen and the regen that comes from mana. That was changed to chapter 10 epic boss.
 
I can make it like he gains regen when only fightning front of you. Or less events? I could make few more events but what kind of events? Not sure.

Yes, it would be fair decision if he'll be able to regen only while fighting, and as I mentioned it was some kind of mini-boss during 1st phase of fight in previous versions - something like Lich from wc3 - he was summoned alone.
And increasing the fighting time of Yurgimar himself will be nice - now it is about 5 second while he is on the ground and then he flies away.

Maybe reduce the number of red-blue-yellow circles events during 2nd phase of fight? I mean if now it occurs for example once per 1 minute maybe increase it 2x times - once per 2 minutes?

Yurgimar should summon either of the espers when health is below 66% and 33%.

Yes I will make the time longer between events. I will probably add one another event that I planned long time ago... It makes the last battle more interesting.

Yep, but due to his regen it was impossible to even make his HP less than 80% - he flies away and regen to 100%.
Thanks for fixing the battle!!! It would be great as it was in earlier than 1.9o!

-In the first phase of the battle it is possible to demage him below 66% of his hp (the first esper is not that hard to kill at all) and 33% (second esper, a bit harded than first but still very killable), even menaged to "kill" yurgi (with give ups ofc).
-But the second phase is really hard, not because of his regen, circle phase or nukes, but because of the illusions.
Why illusions? Becouse if you want to negate his regen you really need to work when he is reachable (not flying), but due to AoE procs and some auras illusions will die relatively easy, so you die with them and than you do not really have time to negate his regen when he's off.

My first post here, so I want to add that this is the best wc3 campaign I ever played, and I played alot of them. Keep up the great work.

My English is not perfect, so sorry if there are some mistakes.

I could make it like when illusion takes damage, so does the hero instead of when an illusion dies, the hero dies too.

It's hard to tell if that would be better or worst, I hope someone will test that fight before next version.

Did someone actually killed Yurgimar?

And yes, after few more attempts, like someone above said, there is a bug in the first phase. The one where as soon as you hit Yurgimar he would fly away > followed with the fight with the skeletons or wards > he flies down and again when you hit him he flies off,...
