Give up suggestion
« on: August 30, 2012, 09:10:06 am »
Currently I never buy combat kings, because I don't want to waste honor points. This of course takes away a big part of the gameplay and strategy.

My suggestion is, that when a player gives up/finishes the campaign, the honor points that were spent on combat kings are returned and can be saved. Another good option would be to save combat kings with give up.

There are three ways to spend your Honor: Combat Kings, buy Lives or Upgrade you Spells. However, the last choice is not currently available.

I don't say anything to save / load combat kings. Yet.

I don't agree with this suggestion. It is each player's own choice to spend the Honor Points however he likes. For example I invest some of my Honor Points on Combat King Resurrection while having chosen Seal of Resurrection and Heaven's Bless so there is no need to worry about running out of lives. This allows me to spend only a mimimal amount of Honor Points on lives as a back-up plan in case all else fails.

About your suggestion you don't invest on Combat Kings and it is your own decision to do so. Allowing the capability of recycling Honor Points from Combat Kings would make the game imba because everyone can spend all their Honor Points on Combat Kings then give up and get them all back. Where is the tactical element in that? Why bother picking and thinking strategically before buying a Combat King if you can buy of them and get the 'money' back once you restart?
