Disintegration o.o? interesting...
Btw that idea was inspired by another game I played, where a boss will 1/1 your character (means use a spell that leaves u with 1 hp 1 mana) but will not attack you or be attacked for few seconds. During that time, one must quickly use potions (no healing spells anymore!) before the boss attacks you one more time to cause you to die. So this spell forces players to equip and use potions instead of just relying on healing spells.

That would be so...so...I don't know :P. The spell itself would be okay, but the boss would need to give at least 2-3(more perphaps) seconds to give a chance to the heroes to heal themselves(with potions of course) or that would be too OP, yet if the boss give more than just some seconds some HP and MP of the characters would be regenerated already and maybe they wouldn't need to use potions anymore. So, perphaps you could add a debuff of no regen ;D?

the point of that would be to use pots so yeah why not a debuff to prevent regen during that time.

and no, disintegration (soz but i gotta call it that, i love that so much) is not op; it is EPIC. granted that it's given to a suitable boss.

It's not OP, i'm saying that CAN be OP, everything CAN be OP if it's unbalanced.

LOL yes there should be a window of time where the boss does not attack the characters (like 2-3 sec) to make characters use potions. Now, potions can be useful and serve its function; need not be so redundant like previously.
