Unsure if this is a bug, but how do I beat John in chapter 5 in his second form? He goes into invulnerable mode and saps my vitality and almost all my health every once in a while without ever becoming hittable

You must go behind the boss and not get hit for five times. That spell is badly coded I'll think something else for it.
