Aaaaaand it works, but not quite how you said Doom. He heals until he gets to 35% of his max HP, and THEN transforms to his second form. So the 14k HP you noted in the help is quite a bit off on **** mode, it is closer to about 25k.

Anyway shard of shadows is so nice as a free item :D
