Bugs Version Beta1.4

Since every version have had this i am starting it now.

So far 2 bugs found.

1. Phodom's Combat kings didn't load from cache so he had none.
2. Dig power not working?? Not sure what is causing it but all dig attempts tell me I don't have enough dig power even when (since I look in editor) I know I do.

For 1.4a (child's play and easy difficulty):

When I'm starting the campaign, there is a pile of items including copious small health potions and all the honor shop items ready to pick up. 

Additionally, on the board that displays all the stats for the camapign, where it should display "health" it gives the difficulty, and where it should display the "health regen" it shows the play time. 

I was only able to dig 5/10 of the locations, despite both bonuses, and each time I dug, it showed a duplicate message if I was unable, and both a successful and unsuccessful message when digging the more basic items.

After having picked the luck package to start from, when I opened the lucky box, no item appeared; I found the blood charm later to the northeast of the shaman that sells extra lives (right next to a tree near the bridge and to the northwest of the puzzlebox).

Perhaps not a bug, but I was also unable to find the third piece of Miraga's set.

Bug code puzzle seems broken.
Bug Recipe vendor doesnt sell certain recipes like crown of magic.
Bug cant skip mail quest 1st cinematic
Bug 1 one time through bridge crew didn't finish right after killing epic boss it took them like 5 more mins - note it worked fine when I skipped Talloon's dragon fight cinematic.
Bug Raza boss if you talk to him he talks too fast and still has prompts after you try to walk away.
Bug Killing both vamp lords at same time gives double loot
Bug cant exit basement
Bug Rock King elemental will never show (read the script lol)
Possible Bug: Couldn't get wolf boss to show.. double checked all areas couldn't find anymore wolves.
Fatal Error on Epic Boss - Phase 3... Crashed program

Bug ya much of the Multiboard is screwed over but w/e doesnt effect gameplay much.

P.S. you really shouldn't have the dig power requirements so high... How on earth do you get 10 I only count 9.

1) That item was a really n00by "bug". It was more like a mistake. Fixed.
2) Fixed stats.
3) Dig is fixed.
4) About that luck, what chapter?

1) Code Puzzle is not broken, the dig is making this bugs coz' you can't get Master Key to enter that puzzle. Fixed now.
2) Some higher level synthesis will be added later. You can't even make it yet so I will do that for example to 1.5.
3) Will be fixed.
4) It starts to count things after that bridge cinematic is seen.
5) Does Kaza Leader like throws some texts? Like there's no beginning and ending?
6-) Rests will be fixed.
- Ghost Wolf works, remember that there are day and night wolves.

MAX POWER: 5(3+1+2+1+2+1+2)
Lvl10x3 + Bronze + Silver + Novice + Mediocore + Minor + Moderate

i have old problem that combat kings and spells.  they are missed
and else bugs : fradz have missed all his thief abilities

p.s. when i kill vampir lords, i cant leave basement((

@Aero - Ya but even with master key (yes I added it and fixed stuff to make things doable) when after you active when you go to the *source* the code generator says 1 number could be 0 about ALOT of times then 1 number could be 1 then the 0 again lots of times... Then when you try the code the actual numbers included 239 but I failed to guess the right order lol since I had to solve which numbers it had first. Another bug on that puzzle was activating source appears to happen the next time you kill a monster?? because after trying to activate a few times whenever I killed a monster it would teleport my hero back right outside the cage and change the activated fairy Also 1 time I couldnt get it to do anything when entering a zone with a fairy, this was after I failed my first 14 attempts.

Ok with bridge I strongly recommend after Talloon is defeated that bridge becomes immediately usable so that people don't have nothing to do.

With kaza leader I go up to him he asks what I want to know I click a choice he says 1 text every 1 second and goes back to menu. I click new choice repeat until I get item and walk away then it pops up prompt with the what now option + all the old 1s I clicked what now then leave, the next time it shows up a few seconds later it has like 2x the options it's like the list is duplicated bellow iteself, mind you this is after I walked away. you just keep clicking leave till it leaves you alone.

With ghost wolves, not too be rude but I know how they work perfectly and mostly did my hunting in the day to ensure easy sighting.

With dig power are you sure it is adding the levelx10 dig power bonus if so it should tell you somewhere (I am not sure it is...) In any case I know even with enough dig power things are sometimes bugged and it won't let you dig, and I know the dig level comparison is where it is going wrong because when I took out the dig level IF statements the digging worked perfectly :)

Also Gowellja appears to be right if you dig where miraga's armor is supposed to be I got 50g instead. In chapter 1 of course.

Edit: Ignore this I think I did it wrong... "Another bug that is Quite annoying is if you go back into the interlude and change settings like spells and packages even if you start a new game it doesnt change them if you even picked something different in the past."

Also Soldier is right fradz at least in chapter 5 is missing his theives abilities I just thought I had messed it up somehow when I changed fradz's into my favorite ghost nova, lol

The only other thing which isnt really a bug and is obviously Very Low priority was the spinning camera after "Boss Fight" after alfred and bad dude go through portal is annoying in chapter 5.


P.S. I know there are a lot of bugs but thanks for getting it to us sooner Aero I love the content and am more than willing to put up with a few bugs!!!

Edit: @Aero what do I mean with the multi board? Go start chapter 1 for a second and read the numbers lots of stuff in wrong place, cant tell what half of the numbers are really for or they are a bit broken.

Ok I just restart the in 1.4b.

I dig on top left of the map. That say "Not enough dig power..." but I got the Item. Same at dig point near the harpy and near the spider and near 3 monster surround by tree.
In the top right dig point, I see two times  "Not enough dig power...". Same on the 2 bottom left

Shield of fire heal instantly. Oh! Sorry you change the spell, ok.

I don't know if it's a bug but in the heros stat, there are a lot "0" like "Agility: Each point increase critical damage by 0"...

The lucky box in ogre cave is empty and I find a stogo helmet near the shaman. I think it's linked

I don't know if it's a bug but after the first boss fight, I have a sight  near the camp of the "bandit warlord" and I can see him move.

I kill epic boss and when I re-enter in the cave, there still have an image of the boss "casting a spell" for ever.

I'll add bug I find as I do the campaign.

First of all, it was about a month from last version so I almost lost my motivation. That's why I had to release a next version in order to show you guys that I'm still doing this and to have some feedback what I have done. That is why there are many bugs because I rushed in some cases.

- Okay, so the saving/loading with combat kings and spell books doesn't work. This is a real problem that must be solved. It worked before, now it doesn't work. I tried to fix it about three weeks ago but I didn't succeed.
- Yea that puzzle is messed up it worked perfect when I was testing the test map. I'll test the puzzle so many times that it starts to work.
- I will fix the bridge so that it doesn't to count when you enter the bridge cinematic first time. Instead it counts all the time.
- Also the Kaza Dialog will be fixed. This time it's not my fault but it's Blizzard coz' the variable is bugging.
- Dig bugs at version 1.4 and 1.4a. It works at 1.4b.
- I removed Mana Gem from chapter 1 and added it to chapter 4. It was too imba item for chapter 1.

I'm at the moment testing and improving chapter 5. I'm not sure if I can fix that save/load combat king in 1.4c because I don't know where to start fixing that system. It's a system made bu JASS by some unknown guy from the past. I don't understand a thing about JASS. I just try to make things as same as in 3.3a and hope everything starts to work...

I added your bugs down. They are not that serious bugs and I'll fix them eventually.

Relax, its just a few unsolveable bugs.
You have ample of time for you to fix it,
There isn't any deadlines here for you  :-\
Just ignore those people who rushed you to release fixed version,
You will just be even more frustrated. :(

I am a programmer irl and I know very well how frustrating it is to failing to solve a bug.
I am 100% with you and I encourage you to continue like this. You did it very well.

I can't help you with the war3 editor but if you are a question about programming or if you want a little program who can help you. Tell me, I will see what I can do.

About bugs, I just tell you what I see, I don't blame you because there are some bug. I just want to help.

All bugs will be eventually be fixed. Systems bugs are the ones that are hard to me because I'm not superb coderer. Especially systems that are made by JASS, because I don't understand a thing about JASS language(and that save/load combat king is JASS system).

Yeah, thanks for the comment. I'll try to fix that save/load next and then update the campaign to 1.4c with alot bug fixes.
