i think your version of WCIII is TOO old, u should update to 1.24e that is the latest patch

It may just be me (there is a VERY small chance I broke something.) but I think stealing in chapter 3 at least from the ice troll is not working.

Thanks for the help, i tried to update but when i use the wc3setup and then start up the patch it says that there was a checksum error? how do i fix that? im going to try to download 1.24d and update from 1.24d to 1.24e and see if that helps..

First, download patch 1.24e full: 56 MB
Second is download Warcraft III Setup and unzip it.
- Run ?WC3Setup.exe?.
- Press ?Start?, choose ?Browse?, select the folder where warcraft III is installed (This is ?C:\Program Files\Warcraft III? by default), select the file ?Frozen Throne.exe? and ?Open? (fix Warcraft III Registry Entries), and ?close?.
And run patch 1.24e

Did u do exactly what it said? I updated it and had no problem.

I think,
Do you have a programme called warcraft version switcher?
Try switch to a newer version if you're still stucked in old war3 versions.
Just a suggestion  ;)

thanks for all the help guys, i appreciate it .. i tried all the things i listed before to no avail, but i re-installed the game and downloaded the patch and ran it as the admin(i think this was the original problem why the patch wouldnt work) and now it works :D now im off to play it thanks for the help guys
