Well was very glad to see the new version was out. Dled and started a new game today as i wanted to experience all changes from the start.

Chapter 1:
- Miraga's staff is still buggy. i can't get a single point of the permanent intel from it. it was 0 out of 6 after half an hour while i had gained all 6 str from Maragath's belt within minutes.
- speedy boots is now thankfully fixed and works as intended.
- the holy cross starting pack doesn't seem to work. against the ogre boss, when it charges up for its one hit killing blow, i deliberately let it hit me and it killed me. no resurrection! or maybe i'm just mistaken and 'saves from death every 3 minutes' means something else?
- the archmage (chapter 1 epic boss) seems to be on the same level as the previous versions chapter 4 epic boss now :/ (i.e. bugged and impossible to kill). whenever he spawns that golem, he regens thousands of HP while the golem is active (far more then the amount I manage to damage him with when he's not doing an event). and to add to the fun you start of the golem with a massive attack speed buff which allows him to kill me in a few seconds so i HAVE to run away until the buff wears off.
- Something weird happened and the archmage lost almost 30K hp the first time i killed the golem! however after that, i could never get his HP below 5-6k because he just regened it all back more. i fought him for almost half an hour and he just kept regening back all the damage i was able to do.

Have stopped and given up. Could someone else please confirm if they've tried playing from the beginning and the archmage was just as retarded to beat? Do note that i was playing on **** difficulty.

I said something similar about buffing it a lot - it became too hard for a new campaign start and on the high difficulties. Shame on Sarfa - "Ch.1 Golem is easy, Ch.7 golem is easy - bla bla bla even on **** bla bla bla". And I suppose that healing effects on bosses should be nerfed - as far as it is almost impossible to kill them on high difficulties - simply not enough time to do killing damage to the boss between healing events.
With a load from a give up - I've got a lot of money and therefore maximum item set for Ch.1 - was also unable to kill Archimage on **** - and started the game on normal difficulty.
Also the Archmage sometimes become invulnerable and started to cast something - but nothing was cast. It was for about 5-6 times between golem's summoning events.
