1.9 Bug Masterthread

Information about bugs:

    • The game crashes
    • Something isn't saved/loaded correctly
    • If you see an item with "BANNED" text
    • Boss is doing nothing, except attacking(all bosses have at least something)
    • Enemy doesn't give experience(every enemy should give experience)
    • Enemy doesn't give gold(exception: some bosses won't give and all respawning units won't give -> ALL BOSSES SHOULD GIVE GOLD!!)
    • Something wrong with item description(colors wrong for example)
    • There's an enemy unit that respawns and you can gain gold from it(you shouldn't be able to "grind" in this game)
    • Grammar error(about anywhere)
    • Music is not playing or two songs at once
    • An intelligent passive unit isn't talking back to you(floating text)
    • Item or ability doesn't do what it should
    • An enemy does something when stunned
    • An enemy has an attack or armor type with a child icon

    Hello guys,
    I found a bug at the beginning of chapter 2, Fraze start the game in the middle of the map between the monsters and they kill him while you're watching the cinematic I have to skip the cinematic to start the map normally.

    Same with above and also Fradz's starting item (scope) increases Fragz's stealing chance not on 100% but on 1000% - I suppose it is gonna be a bit easy to steal throwout the whole campaign)

    Plus there is a fatal error again in Noctorian Tomb - Ch.2 - when you touch all the 5 obelisks too fast - fatal error - the same thing was in previous version for me - but after the loading of the game from save - all seems normal.

    This is not a bug - Aero once told me that if you choose this pack, you won't ever have to worry about steal chance again.

    I continue my game from end of chapt 8 of previous version and found several bugs in chapt 9:

    - At the start after the cinematics, I could control Damanthe and trade his items away hahaha. But he doesnt have any mana and has no skills.
    - The teleporter quest is buggy. I didnt activate it by talking to the Poogog (spelt correctly?) near the protal at the beginning of the chapter, but i completed it when i fought the boss and talked to him again at the boss arena, though the quest log says "Unknown quest (Completed)" Then I went back to the beginning of the chapter and 'initiated' the quests but the Poogog was invisible but talking to my characters.
    - I killed the crystal monster to initiate a quest but during the cinematics, the crystal monster was shown attacking my characters.
    - Spell books, other than the fire ones, are not carried over. Same goes for combat orders, espers, flowers and alchemy level.
    - Phodom's AOE spell (Colossal slam) and Fradz's single targeting spell (Thunder) were not carried over as well.
    - After finishing the Axobada quest, Fradz gains the light aura from the quest arena forever.
    - I can click on the mystic field 'NPC' like thingy.
    - Zodi cant be purchased in chapt 9, although I remember that you said it was possible last time.
    - Some areas in the chapter have not be explored yet but are still lighted up in the mini-map.
    - The fireball spell from the elite boss is buggy as it sometimes do not hit the ground, leaving it levitating above the ground.
    - The attack type and armor type of each monster should be totally removed instead of leaving the indicator behind.
    - Remove vitality altogether as theres the +20 vitality in phodom set.
    - Some normal neutral creeps in chapter 9 do not give gold
    - Music stopped playing after the first cinematic of elite boss till the boss is defeated

    Hello everybody:
    I found some other bugs:
    The book of regeneration it should be contain 400 charges but I completed the chapter 2 with about 480 charges I don't know if this is a bug or just Aero forget to change the description.
    Fatal error bug:
    In Noctorian Tomb after solving the puzzle (I solve it by disabling the sound effect)
    Ch3 after kill the spider boss (I solve it by disabling the sound effect)
    Ch3 while trying to solve the first puzzle in the second time to obtain the omega orb. (I didn't try yet)

    Sorry I forgot to mention in the third fatal error bug the sound effect was already disabled so maybe the sound is not the problem.

    Sorry again I forgot this bug the generals badge the armor don't increase with the charges increase.
    Maybe I should report the bug once I found it because I forget a lot, but is this will be annoying to you?

    Well was very glad to see the new version was out. Dled and started a new game today as i wanted to experience all changes from the start.

    Chapter 1:
    - Miraga's staff is still buggy. i can't get a single point of the permanent intel from it. it was 0 out of 6 after half an hour while i had gained all 6 str from Maragath's belt within minutes.
    - speedy boots is now thankfully fixed and works as intended.
    - the holy cross starting pack doesn't seem to work. against the ogre boss, when it charges up for its one hit killing blow, i deliberately let it hit me and it killed me. no resurrection! or maybe i'm just mistaken and 'saves from death every 3 minutes' means something else?
    - the archmage (chapter 1 epic boss) seems to be on the same level as the previous versions chapter 4 epic boss now :/ (i.e. bugged and impossible to kill). whenever he spawns that golem, he regens thousands of HP while the golem is active (far more then the amount I manage to damage him with when he's not doing an event). and to add to the fun you start of the golem with a massive attack speed buff which allows him to kill me in a few seconds so i HAVE to run away until the buff wears off.
    - Something weird happened and the archmage lost almost 30K hp the first time i killed the golem! however after that, i could never get his HP below 5-6k because he just regened it all back more. i fought him for almost half an hour and he just kept regening back all the damage i was able to do.

    Have stopped and given up. Could someone else please confirm if they've tried playing from the beginning and the archmage was just as retarded to beat? Do note that i was playing on **** difficulty.

     - multi-board suggests that there are 6 mini-bosses in ch1, however when I was about to finish ch1, it showed that 12 out of 6 are killed
     - holy cross doesnt work
     - according to description in alchemist menu, potions of str/agi/int should give +3 stat (they give only +2)

    Also, I agree that archmage is unkillable if you started a new campaign (though he seems unkillable even if you did load; have to test).
    Will update as campaign proceeds.

    I had this bug too but I thought it was just a bad luck.

    - the archmage (chapter 1 epic boss) seems to be on the same level as the previous versions chapter 4 epic boss now :/ (i.e. bugged and impossible to kill). whenever he spawns that golem, he regens thousands of HP while the golem is active (far more then the amount I manage to damage him with when he's not doing an event). and to add to the fun you start of the golem with a massive attack speed buff which allows him to kill me in a few seconds so i HAVE to run away until the buff wears off.

    I didn't face this bug.
    Note: I'm playing the hard difficulty.

    I said something similar about buffing it a lot - it became too hard for a new campaign start and on the high difficulties. Shame on Sarfa - "Ch.1 Golem is easy, Ch.7 golem is easy - bla bla bla even on **** bla bla bla". And I suppose that healing effects on bosses should be nerfed - as far as it is almost impossible to kill them on high difficulties - simply not enough time to do killing damage to the boss between healing events.
    With a load from a give up - I've got a lot of money and therefore maximum item set for Ch.1 - was also unable to kill Archimage on **** - and started the game on normal difficulty.
    Also the Archmage sometimes become invulnerable and started to cast something - but nothing was cast. It was for about 5-6 times between golem's summoning events.

    Chapter 9 bugs:
    - Yin can be obtained twice (one from the quest and one from digging).
    - Multiboard stats are still the ones from chapter 8.
    - The name 'Keeper of Dark' is not grammatically correct.
